When the Media Becomes Fixated – Smoke and Mirrors

Angry Grizzly BearAfghanistan has fallen, history has repeated itself, making the images of Saigon look like a trip to Disneyland on gossamer wings.  Haiti is in shambles, again, from the triple whammy of an earthquake, a hurricane, and political instability; at least this time, we do not have the Clinton’s siphoning money from the relief efforts for their personal gain.  The US/Mexico border National Security/Humanitarian/Health crisis continues unabated, unreported, and the deception of the American Government to its citizens is unceasing.

Stories are leaking out. President Biden refused to place American citizens ahead of Afghanistanis and other nationalities on American military planes during the Afghanistan farrago, again betraying the American people’s trust.  After a minimal review of President Biden’s time in office, I should not be surprised that he places other nationalities ahead of American’s, but I am amazed every time.  Yet, with all the “news,” it is interesting to note that the dogs not barking should be getting the attention.

Colonial Pipeline Hack

Remember the Colonial Pipeline Hack, which shut down the pipeline that fed oil products down the Eastern Seaboard.  Apparently, some 6,000 people’s private information was also lost in the hack.  Social security and health insurance information was stolen; consider how much personal data is on an insurance form, now ask yourself, why is all that private data needed?  Why was it stored with pipeline controls?  Who is responsible for allowing HIPAA information to be accessible?Colonial Pipeline Russian hacker: Darcy cartoon - cleveland.com

Since Colonial Pipeline paid the ransom, how can we, the consumers, be assured that the ransomware (software used to shut down the pipeline in the first place) was removed and the IT/IS threat risks fixed?  Since private data was stolen in the attack, how can employees (past and present) and their families get their identities back?  Worse, what about future attacks using private data as leverage to regain access and control?  Medical data has been used as leverage to blackmail historically as this is intimate and private data; this is a security breach with significant potential future risk but is being downplayed.  Why?

China

China Takes Over the World - TV TropesAlmost like clockwork, when there is trouble, China goes silent.  Every parent in the world knows when their toddler goes silent, that is when it is time to go find out what the child is doing.  Usually, it will mean the child is about to get their bottom smacked for doing something against the rules.  Or, you could compare China to Peeves, the poltergeist from Harry Potter, “When there’s trouble, call on Peeves, he’ll make it double.”  What is China doing right now, as they take advantage of the Afghanistan and Haiti double crisis?

Why are China’s rights and sovereignty always respected by America when China refuses to respect our sovereignty and rights?  When China refuses to honor border integrity and the sovereignty, rights, and privileges of its neighbors?  Want some interesting reading?  The Heritage Foundation has published the “China Transparency Report.”  Essentially, since 2005, China has been investing in third-world countries, often with illicit or illegal money, washed through its own banks, and returned to the global markets as investments in construction projects for “nation-building.”  Open secrets, many economists already know and have been asking political leaders to put a halt to, and have been rebuffed by those same political leaders, who then take “investments” from China.China's Emerging Middle Eastern Kingdom - Association of Geo-Strategic Analysis

China wants a hegemony, the political, economic, and military dominance of the globe, and they are investing in building nation-states that are loyal to them.  Not China-bashing, trying to raise awareness of what is happening right now in the world!  China’s leadership suffers from the “Middle Kingdom Inadequacy Syndrome” where they want to rule, but they entered the 18th and 19th centuries too late.  Now they want to play like it is still the 17th and 18th centuries, where empires can be built, lands stolen, maps redrawn, vast empires where the sun never sets are their reward for their patience and careful investments.

COVID-Hysterical Reactions

New Zealand re-entered national lockdown over COVID as of this morning (17 Aug 2021).  They have a single confirmed case of COVID.  Israel has 7,000+ daily cases; they are expecting to enhance their COVID measures.  New Mexico’s Governor (Supreme Grand Vizier and Head Chump) is still vacillating on her next mandate on COVID.  Other governors, heads of state, and many citizens wait with bated breath for the next shoe to drop on COVID-hysterical nonsense.  While everyone’s focus is on Afghanistan and Haiti, look for some weasel to stick the population with more COVID-Mania, that other politicians will follow if the first can “get away with the madness.”Covid-19 Def Leppard Hysteria - Covid 19 - T-Shirt | TeePublic

COVID has taught every citizen worldwide to be very cautious where government and “health mandates for public good” are concerned.  How many freedoms, treasure, and lives lost unnecessarily occurred because the government acted instead of logical thinking people?  Too much!  The greatest crime in all of recorded history is relying upon or allowing the government to act when the people can, and should, be doing the work. The Bright Side Of Coronavirus - 9ThirtyFour

CNN fired employees for not honoring the company policy to get vaccinated.  Did you know your employer can mandate you to be vaccinated?  Did you know your employer can charge you a different health insurance rate for not being vaccinated?  Are you aware that to your employer, you are property, have no US Constitutional Rights, and can be fired for not toeing every single line they spout?

Why is the Corporate Media Crowing About the US Senate “Acting” to Spend Money The US Does Not Possess?

blue-money-burning-2The US Senate is still being cheered for passing a budget full of leftist stupidity and wish list items that do nothing but bloat the American Government, raise the costs of products, and increase the ire of the electorate and the National Deficit.  Yet, the media cheers!  The US Senate passed an “infrastructure bill” that focuses on everything but infrastructure.  Yet, the media cheers!  The legislation passed provides free Internet to Cubans living on the Island of Cuba but is paid for by every other American utilizing Internet services and paying taxes.  Still, the media cheers!  Inflation is headed for double-digits by year’s end (2021), and if action is not taken swiftly will remain at double-digit highs for at least three years.  Yet, the media cheers, and the politicians are silent or making excuses.

Smoke and Mirrors

Smoke and mirrors are methods of distracting the audience while a magician does the trick, or the smoke and mirrors are the tricks.  Skilled magicians use these tools to create illusions meant to mystify and delight.  Politicians and media talking heads use them to distract until they can fashion a proper excuse, find a different party to blame, or waste sufficient time that the public has moved on to a different story.  Only magicians know that audiences become sophisticated over time, and all old tricks need revisiting to keep the mystery and magic alive.  Politicians refuse to learn this lesson, and their antics have grown stale, tired, and what was merely detestable 40 years ago has become treasonous and contemptible today!Ecig cancer death is smoke and mirrors | Planet of the Vapes

How do we, the citizens of representative governments, end the games, stop the charades, and demand accountability?  We stop buying tickets to the show!  We turn off the TV, Radio, and Talking Heads, turn on our minds, and use our critical thinking skills to deduce what is happening from the facts.  Then we act, in concert, unified with our neighbors, to end the silliness and demand that those responsible pay for their misdeeds and felonious actions!  We use the laws they have shunned to force accountability.  Believe it or not, the answer really is this simple!Bird of Prey

Beware the smoke and mirrors the media is casting and the politicians are hiding in; they are trying to get away with criminal misdeeds while attention is focused elsewhere!

Operational Trust Embodied – Consent of the Governed

The Coliseum | AncientWorldWondersEmperor Titus Flavius Vespasian began work on the Coliseum of Rome in 69 AD.  Upon completion of the Coliseum, his son Emperor Titus held 100-days and nights of festival in the Coliseum.  Ostensibly to calm the masses after the civil unrest following the death of Emperor Nero, the Coliseum acted precisely as it was planned, distract the masses, while the emperor consolidated his power, undermined the Roman Senate, and set the stage for the end of the Roman Empire.  Roman laws were built, originally, upon the consent of the governed until the emperors broke the law.  The people rebelled, and before the squabbling senators could take control, the Roman government was subjugated to empirical rule.  All historical facts, reflecting the power of the consent of the governed and a lesson upon which we can plot the future if we are brave enough to take action.

Consider for a moment what would have happened if a quorum of the Roman Senate had refused the emperor funds until the emperors relinquished powers they had stolen?  What would have happened to the Coliseum if the people had rejected the “bread and circuses” offered by the emperor and demanded a return to the rule of law?  The erection of the Coliseum is a dynamic point in history where we can see how the unjust powers of a government seal the fate of an entire nation, and the principle of operationalized trust can make a difference.Stunning Facts About the Roman Coliseum That'll Leave You Spellbound - Historyplex

What is Trust?

How to Rebuild Trust as a Leader - Optimize InternationalImperative to the following discussion is an understanding of the basics, and the basics require knowing what trust is, what trust does, and what trust is not.  Webster defined trust as an obligation and a condition of having confidence placed upon another.  Another definition for trust includes a firm belief in the integrity, ability, character, reliance, and having confidence in another person or thing.  Hence, trust is not just a belief but a reliance, signifying there have been experiences shared that have proven trust in the fires of adversity, and the person or thing has been found worthy.

Defining trustFor example, in the US Army, when I went through Basic Training, you spent three days in a classroom learning about gas masks, chemical, biological, radiological warfare (CBR), and other tools for protecting yourself in a CBR environment.  Then, you went to the “Confidence Chamber.”  The Confidence Chamber was there to teach you to have confidence in your equipment; by putting you in first in your gas mask, then removing your gas mask, and experiencing tear gas, you learned to trust your equipment and have confidence that what you were learning could save you pain, misery, and hopefully your lives.

The Confidence Chamber also had another purpose that is often missed in the rigors of Basic Training but is as real as the air a person breathes, building trust in the chain of command.  Asking people to do hard things, experience pain, puke their guts out, and all the other effects of the tear gas begins a trust cycle in the chain of command.  As a soldier, you can trust your sergeants and officers, and they can trust you.  Organizational trust begins with these basic experiences in basic training and hopefully grows as a soldier is trained.Gas Chamber 4

Trust is not easily won but can be easily lost.  Trust is not fully developed in a single transaction but can be germinated in a single transaction.  Trust flourishes in two-directional learning paths among people, sharing experiences, time, and values.  Trust is not a solution in and of itself, but it can be a magnifying power of other efforts in achieving resolution.  Trust is a tool, but not a tool that can be employed by itself.  For example, a screwdriver can be force multiplied by a wrench; trust is the same; it is the wrench that multiplies the power of other tools to accomplish work.

What is Operationalized Trust?

Strong Teams Start with Trust: 5 Ways to Build Trust - Invoicebus BlogEstablishing relationships requires the principles of organizational trust, as detailed by Du, Erkens, and Xu (2018), who found when supervisors trust their subordinates, regardless of whether supervisors have a general propensity to trust others or trust subordinates due to previous transactions and social similarity, customer service is significantly improved.  Operationalized trust is nothing but using a trust relationship to improve a shared or common goal.  For example, a business wants better customer satisfaction, so the supervisors use trust between themselves and their employees to increase service quality, promoting enhanced service satisfaction.

Trust quotes images and wallpapers hdIncredibly, the first principle to empowering operational trust is social similarity, which provides the breeding grounds for shared social interactions—knowing where someone originates and if they share values is critical to initiating, building, and maintaining trust propensity.  The second principle for empowering operational trust is extreme oversight; micro-management kills trust relationships and kills individual initiative, individual agency, and individual moral.  A corollary finding is that efficient use of existing control systems is not objectionable or harmful to trust propensity.  This is a critical finding in organizational trust, in that existing controls are acceptable.  When taken to extremes, the consent of the governed is rejected, and the controls become the problem killing the initiative.  Collocation and less stringent controls breed trust propensity that develops organizational trust, improving how people work, or to put it more simply, less strict controls, combined with people sharing similar backgrounds, opens organizational trust and breeds consent of the governed into productivity.

Consent of the Governed Rests Upon the Following Principles

As a reminder, the fundamental principles of a free society, a liberty first culture, and the consent of the governed rest upon the following, which should be returned to often and refreshed daily by the elected officials in government to feed operational trust in a free society and liberty-based government.

No free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people, but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue, and by frequent recurrence to fundamental principles” [emphasis mine].

          • Justice: Decency to all as a behavior of equality and commitment to moral rightness.
          • Moderation: This is all about not going to extremes, being restrained, knowing the boundaries and staying within limits, and being reasonable and approachable.
          • Temperance: While primarily used in drinking alcohol, this also applies to any behaviors where self-restraint, moderation, and expressions or observance of temperate behaviors are required.
          • Frugality: Besides being a good steward of other people’s resources, being frugal requires being sparing, prudent, economical, thrifty, and reserved.
          • Virtue: Requires moral excellence, modesty, personal dignity, goodness, and conformity to a standard of righteousness.

Putting it all Together

ElectionThe consent of the governed is built upon the intermingled trust between people as a body electing government officers and people representing those elected as government officers.  The problems have arisen because many in public office have refused to accept the government of those who elected them and have served only themselves and the monied interests buying their time.  Thus, trust propensity in government has dropped to disastrous levels. Adding to the problem are the accumulated actions of previously elected officials who have set a pattern for personal wealth by tax and spend, supporting political cronies, and gerrymandering system to protect them from negative election results.  The trust between people of shared values has been broken by those elected, who never shared values, who refuse to live in their home districts, and whose time and the highest bidder can purchase interests.  Thus, is it any wonder that people no longer believe the lies of government are restless and agitated?

The consent of the governed is a precious commodity that has been squandered by those who should have held that precious resource as a mother holds her child—protecting, nurturing, and feeding the consent of the governed to build trust propensity against a time when a pandemic or natural disaster would occur.  Where the government would need to act in a difficult manner.  Instead, hypocrisy has been witnessed from the government leaders and the monied interests purchasing the politician’s time, and the people refuse their consent to be governed.  Where do we see the refusal of consent to be governed; how is the health of the US Dollar and other national currencies?  That is not just inflation blowing up prices, confidence in the future has been shaken, and confidence is the visual representation of the consent of the governed.Plato 2

Where else do we see the consent of the governed being refused?  Recently an Olympiad was held, the government of the US held hearings of great import on legislative matters to conflict with the Olympiad to hide scheduled legal hearings as smoke and mirrors.  When Kevin Durant and Draymond Green called the media out for failing to cover the Olympics, they missed the target; the people they should be denouncing are the politicians trying to distract further, confuse, and cause chaos.

Knowledge Check!President Obama proved one thing while in office when you choose to hold hearings is as important as the content of the hearings, the legislation, and the political gamesmanship.  Paying attention to all of the tricks and media hyperbole is all but impossible, and in the confusion, theft occurs.  But, the law of unintended consequences means that the consent of the governed takes a beating when these tactics are played, and soon polls will show a more significant drop in approval ratings.  (Remember how jock itch has a higher approval rating than Congress?)  Politicians will scramble, the media will try and explain the findings, but the result is always the same, the consent of the governed is being removed at a more rapid pace, and every politician of a representative government needs to start paying attention!

America – Who Makes the Laws?

QuestionThe director of the CDC has declared she can eliminate the eviction of renters not paying rent, even though the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) and the US President have declared her executive action is both unconstitutional and illegal.  Yet, with the US House of Representatives and the US Senate silent, who makes the rules, enforces the laws, and scrutinizes the government?  Who in the three co-equal branches of government is required to oversee and reign in government workers taking liberties and unconstitutional action?

The Mayor of New York, multiple Governors of various states, have all issued threats regarding the need for health passports, or the equivalent, to eat in public, visit the gym, go to work, go to school, and so forth.  All of which are frankly illegal in America.  There are no changes to the laws, rule by executive fiat without care for science, medical privacy, and personal privacy.

Question 3The US President has an ongoing national health crisis and national security crisis on the US/Mexico border, where unhealthy illegal immigrants are being smuggled into America, and then spread throughout America, paid for by US Taxpayers, with no legislative branch scrutiny, no judicial branch scrutiny, and no accountability or transparency.  The US President is doing this without the public knowledge, aided and abetted by a complicit and willing media, and assisted by hundreds of political action groups receiving US Tax Dollars.  Protected by state and federal agencies from the American public, shrouded in mystery, and refused sunlight disinfectant.  Allowed solely because the speakers (major and minor) in the US House and Senate refuse to make noise about the issues the president is creating.

      • CAN I RECEIVE THE JANSSEN COVID-19 VACCINE WITH OTHER VACCINES?
          • There is no information on the use of the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine with other vaccines.
      • CAN I RECEIVE THE MODERNA COVID-19 VACCINE WITH OTHER VACCINES?
          • There is no information on the use of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine with other vaccines.
      • CAN I RECEIVE THE PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE WITH OTHER VACCINES?
          • There is no information on the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine with other vaccines.

Three separate vaccines, three separate pieces of literature, all copied, with links from the FDA website, all three stating similar language; it was almost as if the three independent companies had sat down and written the brochures for their vaccines in the same conference room.  Who mandated these brochures; the FDA, and the CDC.  Who demanded these safety guidelines for the vaccines as disclaimers; the FDA, and the CDC.  Who is overseeing the COVID response for the executive branch?  Who is controlling the executive branch and providing scrutiny through the US House and US Senate?

Exclamation MarkWhy do I ask these questions; because every single vaccine for COVID has chemicals in them that are marked and sold with the labels, “Not fit for human or animal consumption” or “for research purposes only.”  Don’t believe me!  Check it out for yourself!

The first example, Moderna Vaccine, contains lipids, lipids are made up of SM-102, Polyethylene glycol [PEG] 2000 dimyristoyl glycerol [DMG], cholesterol, and 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine [DSPC]).  I can only go from what I read on websites, and I am not a chemist, biochemist, or scientist.  But, I have used polyethylene glycol as a cleaning agent on gas turbine engines and realize chemicals come in all types and varieties.  However, I am still concerned about what is being shot into my body.  Especially the long-term side effects, which none of the pharmaceutical companies will discuss.  Nor can I get any discussion with multi-drug interactions; for example, will any of the prescription drugs currently being taken interact with the vaccine?  I have asked my questions of medical professionals and never gotten any logical responses.

When you run out of medical providers to ask, one must begin discussing the problems with lawmakers.  Yet, the lawmakers refuse to answer questions.  Who do you turn to then?  Is the problem apparent?  In America, we have the freedom to ask questions, for now.  Yet, nobody will answer my questions; thus, I must conclude there is a reason for actively refusing to answer questions, and my following action is to begin chasing the money.Plato 2

The New York Times recently deleted a bunch of pro-China articles written over the last decade or so.  The deleted articles were written while The New York Times and a multiplicity of other prominent newspapers and media channels received large cash donations from China.  The stories printed concerning ownership of islands China claimed and stole from other countries, lands along borders hotly contested with China’s neighbors, and the writing was always in a pro-China slant.  Frankly, I do not care if the newspapers and media shill for China; just do not try and call the fluff pieces news.

Since the fluff pieces were labeled as news, there is the potential for laws to have been broken, misrepresentation to have occurred, and media influence by an openly hostile and aggressive country possibly occurred.  Something legislators should be very interested in and should be scrutinizing heavily.  Leading us back to the original question, “Who makes the laws?”  Where are the lawmakers?

Knowledge Check! The US Constitution lays out plainly who the lawmakers are, who controls the various levers of American government, and how the government is expected to work.  Since the speakers (major and minor) in the US House and Senate refuse to perform their jobs and do not need to be politicians, I move to remove the current sitting speakers and hire third-party adjudicators immediately into these vacant spots.  Preferably people who are not beholden to any single party and employed by the Senate body for the House and the House for the Senate.  With terms to be set by the House for the Senate and the Senate for the House, but not to exceed the Constitutional mandates, and to be one-time events with no retirement benefits or out-of-office special benefits.

It is past time to get the government, of the people, by the people, back to working for the people!
