When Fiction Becomes Reality – An Illegal Safe House

Angry Wet ChickenTwo days ago, I received an email that still has me baffled.  What is an “Illegal Safe House?”  The subject line of the email states precisely that, “Illegal Safe House.”  The email had been forwarded to me from other sources, and I got lured into research mode.

01 June 2021, The Gateway Pundit published a story regarding migrants being housed in a secure closed hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Through ICE, Scottsdale Police, and other security agencies, Homeland Security, plus a hired contracting agency, provide security.  Those housed are not discussed; people with questions are pointed to an organization’s website, and nobody knows anything they are willing to release to the public.

Exclamation MarkOther sources report the following regarding this “illegal safe house,” which I have collated into a single comprehensible statement.  I am not the author of this information, and the sources from which it was gathered are not vetted for veracity.

A federal contractor began operating a temporary hotel facility for immigrant families Saturday, 29 May 2021. The site has generated substantial public and media attention.  After nearly two weeks of operation, Scottsdale police report that the only calls for service at the location are from those operating it due to people not associated with the site coming onto the property. Several protests attended by as many as 300 people have occurred, which have been lawful and peaceful.

Whether using this hotel for this purpose complies with the city’s zoning ordinance has been raised. This hotel has been rented to provide temporary stays to families.  Thus far, the city of Scottsdale has seen no evidence indicating this use is not in conformance with the zoning ordinance.  The city of Scottsdale continues to be in contact with the operator and officials from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

According to ICE officials, this site is for intact families seeking political asylum who are being processed and taken to transportation facilities as they continue their journey to a sponsor family or organization.  Families are at this location for an average of 48 hours, and the vast majority of people travel outside Arizona after processing.  Medical screening (including COVID-19), meals, and other services are provided on-site.  A figure of “1,200” families at the hotel in Scottsdale has been cited, which is incorrect.  The federal contract provides for 1,239 beds in aggregate for all temporary facilities along the southwest border.

The city of Scottsdale has received several hundred calls and emails regarding the facility. Immigration is a federal matter over which the city of Scottsdale has no responsibility or oversight.  If you have further concerns, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Federal Government representatives:

Having tried to contact and engage the elected officials mentioned, good luck breaking through their bureaucracy for straight answers!  None of the elected officials mentioned care a fig for those who elected them.  They continue to prove their dissonance and derogatory attitudes towards the electorate every time they open their mouths!  Arizona, are you sure you are appropriately represented?

      • Who is hosting illegal immigrants?
      • Will those fostering them ensure they show up for court?
      • How do we know these are “intact families?”
      • If these are “temporary housing facilities,” why are they kept so secret?
      • Why wasn’t the public notified that this hotel had been rented and is housing illegal immigrants?
      • The City of Scottsdale claims the ICE operates the hotel in a manner consistent with proper zoning regulations. Yet, Congress proclaims that the Federal Government trumps local regulations and can do anything they want.  Knowing the politics of the City of Scottsdale’s “Zoning Board” and “Zoning Officers,” I can only presume that the zoning officers were hushed by the more than $600-million Endeavors.org received to “sponsor” this illegal safe house.  Who is following up on the money?
      • Where did the money originate, and who is in charge of the contract at the Federal Government?
      • Who hired Endeavors.org to operate temporary housing? Why?  Where is a copy of this contract for public scrutiny?
      • If this contract was a “No-Bid” contract, who are the contracting officers, and why was this a “No-Bid” contract?
      • How many other “Illegal Safe Houses” are being operated? Where are they?  Who is being housed?  How long are they being housed?
      • How much money is the City of Scottsdale receiving directly from this housing scheme?
      • How much money is the State of Arizona being paid for operating these domiciles?
      • Safety and security of America, who vetted these illegals? What documentation was used?  Where did that documentation originate?  How do we know the documentation is legitimate?
      • If these illegal immigrants are being housed temporarily, where are they being sent to next? Who approves travel?  Who is paying for travel?  Who is responsible for mandating appearance on court dates?Plato 2

These are but some of the fundamental questions I would expect to see addressed on Endeavors.org, the parent company operating this domicile.  Except, none of these questions are discussed, addressed, and no additional information is available from the website.  Does anyone else find this particularly odd?  Want to see something horrifying; go to the following link and look at the map for where “migrant services” are provided by Endeavors.  Now, ask yourself, is the problem on the southern US Border restricted to just the southwestern US?

Frankly, I do not care where you stand on illegal immigration, immigration, and immigration reform.  This article is not written to discuss these topics.  I am concerned with the secrecy, the lack of funds, and the government’s profligate spending.  I am concerned with national security issues.  I am very concerned with the human trafficking issues.  America has become the human trafficking capital and human slavery capital of the world.  Yet, none of the politicians locally, state, or federally are willing to act on human trafficking and human slavery problems.  We have token arrests, but prosecutions take forever, and illegal immigrants are being taken advantage of, with a nod by the Federal Government and a sly wink from the state and local governments.

Knowledge Check!With America being a representative government, this means that the citizens are responsible for the actions of their government.  I refuse to be held accountable for feeding the ever-hungry jaws of human slavery and trafficking, the sex and drug industries.  Join me; throw off the chains that threaten to bind and gag us, refuse to be governed by the current crop of politicians who refuse to do their jobs, while taking bribes and “political donations” from groups that are trying to overthrow America!

$1.8 Trillion Annual Deficit – The Problems with Biden’s Budget

Angry Grizzly BearWith gratitude to the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), their analysis of the proposed budget was broken down, and some sense was made.  Not that the news is logical, acceptable, or palatable, just that the budget documents were broken down, which was helpful.  We start with the most bass-ackwards aspect of the budget by asking one question, “Where is the money supposed to come from?”

The 2022 Budget Proposal left President Biden’s desk requesting Congress to spend $6 Trillion and add $1.8 Trillion in new deficit spending to the bloated debt the government already owes.  “Who is going to buy the bonds and make money on this debt?”  When a person employs a search engine, asking this exact question, many answers come forward, and some do not make any sense.

Peter Schiff stated:

The government doesn’t have money that it doesn’t take. Any dollar that the government spends is a dollar that the private sector can’t spend or can’t invest. The government has to take money out of the economy before it can put it back in. Nobody seems to understand this basic point because they see the Fed creating money, and they think, well, we just print money. They don’t realize that when they print money, they destroy the value of the money that’s already there. So, they’re not adding new purchasing power. They’re just redistributing it” [emphasis mine].

Thus the first problem with America’s debt and proposed budget transparent; there is no money that government can spend unless it first forcefully removes it from the owner.  That is theft, or as we recently discussed, legalized theft.  The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has ruled that legalized plunder, legal theft, or forced taxation are the price we pay for civilization, thus making legal the government’s actions to steal money.Government Largess

Let me be clear; I am not an economist.  I select several very bright and experienced people to help explain things to me.  However, I can help others with less interest in economics understand what is happening in America right now to answer the question put forward, “Who is buying America’s debt instruments?”  The simple answer is that the Federal Treasury is buying the debt instruments, as the whole world sells their bonds and other American debt instruments.  What the Federal Reserve is doing is called “monetizing debt.”

Gravy Train 3The definition of monetized debt is as follows. “Debt monetization or monetary financing is the practice of a government borrowing money from the central bank to finance public spending instead of selling bonds to the private sector or raising taxes. It is often informally and pejoratively called printing money or money creation.”  Money can only be created in two ways: selling products and services and lending money where the borrower pays interest.  While there are many different debt instruments, i.e., credit card, home loan, student loan, bonds, Treasury Notes, etc., the principle remains the same: you either sell goods and services to make money or lend money and make money on the interest.

Why does monetizing debt matter?

Two simple reasons the government allows debt to be monetized.  To hide debt, it doesn’t want the public to know about, and to absorb cash on the market as a tool to fight inflation.  Here’s the problem, there is too much debt on the government’s books to hide it from the public any longer.  Add to that the sheer volumes of cash in the marketplace after handing out money during COVID, and the Federal Reserve will monetize debt.  Even if the chair of the Federal Reserve denies monetizing debt, debt is being monetized.Burning money - THE JOSIAH BARTLETT CENTER FOR PUBLIC POLICY

In short terms, your pocketbook is going to take another hit on the chin, and possibly two.  First, your interest rate on privately held debt, credit cards, student loans, homes, etc., is going to go up, all while making lenders nervous and refuse to lend money.  Second, inflation is already making the dollars held less valuable.

Inflation first; inflation is the devaluation of dollars.  The government floods the marketplace with cash, and the currency you hold will drop in value.  For example, recently the inflation was reported to have been 4.6% higher year-over-year.  This announcement was made in April 2021, so all the money you earned last year suddenly became 4.6% less valuable this year, all before the interest rate increases affected those dollars.Inflation - 8 Things Everyone Ought To Know.

Case in point, the US Government sent me $1000 in January; I held onto those funds due to a move that was coming and spent the money in June.  However, between January and June, inflation moved up at a steady pace, and when I went to spend that $1000, it was only worth $850.  That is the power of inflation in your pocket.

Have you asked for a credit increase recently and been denied?  What about your credit limits on your credit cards, have they shrunk?  Both are indicators that the lenders refuse to lend due to the tremendous risks caused by fiscal insanity in the Federal Government.  What about home loans, have you had to produce more documentation, prove more income, and work harder to qualify for a loan?  What about student debt?  The government controls the lending of student debt.  Even here, the Federal Government cannot demand a lender loan money to student’s and many students have found their college expenses grow, and their ability to borrow shrunk.Inflation pickpocket | Cayman Compass

In a simple fact of life, every household in America understands perfectly. When your credit scores go down, your ability to borrow reduces, and it becomes harder to meet all your bills every month.  Every city, county, state, and even the Federal Government should know this lesson, but they refuse to believe problems arise when credit scores go down.  All because those elected believe they can tax some more, and the money magically appears.

Does money magically appear in your pocket; of course not!  It must be earned through working, selling goods and services, or trading your time for employment with an employer for a paycheck.  Does the law allow you to write blank checks, kite checks, backdate checks, or simply float a check waiting for a future payday; of course not!  Yet, this is what the government is doing right now with your money.  The government is spending money, promising the lenders that a future payday will be theirs, but the government has to spend money to get money.  Does that excuse work for you when the electric company, gas company, cellphone, and other bills arrive?A Helpful Chart : How Inflation Changes Mortgage Rates

The most heartbreaking statement I have heard in a long time was recently made by a physician’s assistant, who claimed, “Aren’t we all just one paycheck from disaster?”  The simple truth, mostly, yes!  Studies exist that talk about financial resiliency in America.  Financial resiliency is all about being able to weather a patch of trouble without losing your possessions in bankruptcy.  The conclusions were all but unanimous. Along with most industrial nations, America has no financial resiliency due to government fiscal policies that hinder saving money and the need to live on credit cards to keep the basics of life paid for each month.

When inflation is stealing the value of your money, no wage can compete with government theft, all before taxes.  Add in tax laws that are counter-productive, job-killing, and increase the cost of doing business, and the job you have becomes tenuous at best.  Add in the hidden debts the government is trying to hide, and nobody in America is making money.

QuestionWhat about those who consider themselves “Rich?”

The same problems you are having with inflation are the same problems everyone is having with inflation.  Let’s go back to my $1000 that became $850 through six months of inflation.  We all spend the same money, and inflation is killing everyone’s dollar equally!  Hence, I beg you, do not allow the media hype about rich versus poor to derail the point.  Inflation and monetized debt are killing the US Dollar, which is why so many foreign investors have dumped their US Debt instruments for safer financial shores.

While some people have more financial resiliency than others, everyone’s dollar is dropping in value.  Inflation and low financial resiliency mean making budget cuts to charities, hiring someone to maintain a lawn, and a host of other ways and means American’s share our money.  It can mean turning off services, weighing how much fuel can be used, and a host of other belt-tightening decisions.  All things the government should first be doing, and they refuse.24+ Inspirational Quotes For Unemployed - Audi Quote

Yours and my liberty and freedoms depend upon stable economic policy, firm fiscal policies, and elected officials scrutinizing the government for waste, fraud, and abuse.  Yet, what do we regularly find; fraud, waste, and abuse!  The Department of Defense has lost multiple trillions of dollars; not a single politician is asking for an audit and an explanation or is willing to withhold additional appropriations until the lost money is accounted for.  The Department of Veterans Affairs continues to mismanage funds, misappropriate funds, and waste money like overripe fruit; yet, still, we have zero interest from the politicians elected to scrutinize government.

I repeat Peter Schiff, only for emphasis:

Inflation Quotes | Inflation Sayings | Inflation Picture Quotes - Page 2In redistributing your money, the government has proven they are the problem, and the solution begins locally!  Change your mayor, city council, county board, school boards, and every other elected official.  Getting the local governments in fiscal shape allows state governments to begin practicing fiscal health and sanity.  Then, we put people into the Federal Office more interested in scrutinizing the government than in writing endless laws and abdicating their legislative role to the executive bureaucrats and the judicial branch.

Knowledge Check!The budget put forth by President Biden is the height of insane, and I have only covered less than 1/10th of the budget problems in this article.  Granted, I covered the most egregious problem, but the fact that the legislative branch is even negotiating a compromise is beyond insanity and borders on criminal negligence!  We, each citizen of a representative government, must stand and tell our representatives NO MORE!  No more fiscal insanity, borrowing to buy votes, entering into debt obligations that make captives of unborn millions of other people.  No more will we allow them to buy votes to maintain power.  End the financial abuse of the taxpayer; your wallet will thank you!

Did you hear? The IRS Edition

Millstone of Designed IncompetenceFLASH:  20 May 2021, President Biden wants to spend $80 Billion on expanding the workforce of the IRS by 87,000 new employees over 10-years.  Riddle me this, $919,540.23 is the approximate amount per employee; Would someone tell me why the IRS needs to spend so much per employee?  Does this announcement seem particularly worrisome?  If not, please cease reading now, as I will never convince you to be wary of the Department of Internal Revenue Service. However, with its incredible price tag, if this announcement worries you, let’s discuss a few topics an expanded IRS means.

Where is the money to expand the IRS coming from?

Simple question.  I want clear and concise answers.  While President Biden thinks some of those funds will come from “catching tax cheats,” cheating taxes is a game for lawyers, and I want to know what the president means by “Tax Cheats.”  For example, will he further chase the rich people who are not paying their “fair share;” if so, when will Biden and Obama belly up and write a check for all the back taxes they owe?  When will the Clinton Machine be forced to become accountable for all the tax money avoided?  Are “tax cheats” regular people who missed a box, forgot to include some income, or cannot fathom how to fill out their taxes and made honest mistakes?IRS

Until Big-Tech did an excellent job of cleaning OIG reports for the IRS, I used to have an OIG report claiming that the Federal Employees owing the most in back taxes was the IRS.  Are they in the “Tax Cheat” category, or will the IRS employees continue to be exempt from audits and “fair share” taxpaying because the agency is overwhelming voting Democrat in every election?  The more I dig into the IRS; the more questions arise about “fairness,” transparency, accountability, and responsibility.

Politicized or unpoliticized, the IRS is a weapon.

Ziggy - IRS Non SequiturThere is a massive problem in the IRS; the “IRS Targeting Controversy” has never been settled at the IRS.  On 09 Feb 2018, the last non-profit targeting case was settled. The plaintiff sees no remuneration for the legal fees. The government had to admit it was wrong to target non-profits based upon political leanings.  The IRS is hoping lawmakers will see this last settlement and give them a break.  Yet, the core problems of being or not being a political weapon, the core complaint of the scandal, was never addressed!  The leadership in Congress stopped scrutinizing, and the IRS got away with browbeating people based upon political leaning.

Never forget, Lois Lerner, the IRS official at the center of the non-profit targeting scandal, who had contact with the U.S. President (Obama), pled the Fifth Amendment, and none of the elected officials did anything to get to the truth!  I will not allow the elected representatives off the hook to enable the IRS to become a weapon or remain a political animal!  America deserves better and can only obtain better through asking questions and demanding concise and truthful answers after transparent audits and investigations that conclude with punishment for wrongdoing!

Non-Sequitur - GovernmentThis leads to a simple question: Is the IRS a political weapon for Democrats and Liberals, or is it an apolitical unit of the government?  Let us test the current IRS leadership for a potential answer to this question.  17 June 2021, The Daily Signal reports that the IRS denied tax exemption to a Christian Group because the Bible the group adheres to is associated with the GOP (Republicans).  If that decision has you scratching your head, wait until you check out the rest of the story.

From The Daily Signal story, we find the following pretzel logic from the IRS.  The link is live; see the letter for yourself!

In an 18 May denial letter, IRS Exempt Organizations Director Stephen A. Martin said Christians Engaged is involved in “prohibited political campaign intervention” and “operate[s] for a substantial non-exempt private purpose and for the private interests of the [Republican Party].”

A “legend” at the top of the letter shows nine letters of the alphabet being used as shorthand to represent something. In this letter’s example, oddly, “D” represented “Republican.”

Specifically, you educate Christians on what the Bible says in areas where they can be instrumental, including the areas of sanctity of life, the definition of marriage, biblical justice, freedom of speech, defense, and borders and immigration, U.S. and Israel relations,” Martin wrote. “The Bible teachings are typically affiliated with the D party and candidates. This disqualifies you from exemption under IRS Section 50I(c)(3).”

Ziggy - IRS AuditTo me, it matters not that the letter D represents republican.  America is a Republic, and any political action taken can be connected to a Republican government.  Not necessarily the “GOP” as the Republican Political Party.  If the IRS official cannot ask questions, the voices inside his head speak louder than his abilities to make logical decisions. In that case, he does NOT deserve his position, having been promoted above his maximum level of incompetence!  In making this decision, the IRS official has declared that the democratic party does not ever use biblical teachings to reach conclusions.  Is Speaker Pelosi and President Biden aware of this fundamental change in political foundations?

Feel free to tell me in the comments section, do you feel the IRS Non-Profit Targeting Scandal of 2010 thru 2013 has been handled effectively and properly closed?  Better still, was it appropriate for Lois Lerner to plead the Fifth Amendment and not have legal actions taken? Finally, do you honestly trust the IRS to be an apolitical, unpoliticized, and neutral agency engaged in honest and forthright government business?

Government Largess 3From irs.gov, we find the following, and it raises more questions than answers.  Under the heading, “The IRS Mission,” we find the following, poor grammar, wrong sentences, and detestable language and all:

Provide America’s taxpayers top quality service by helping them understand and meet their tax responsibilities and enforce the law with integrity and fairness to all.

This mission statement describes our role and the public’s expectation about how we should perform that role.

            • In the United States, the Congress passes tax laws and requires taxpayers to comply.
            • The taxpayer’s role is to understand and meet his or her tax obligations.
            • The IRS role is to help the large majority of compliant taxpayers with the tax law, while ensuring that the minority who are unwilling to comply pay their fair share.”

Would someone at the IRS tell me, how are you “providing top quality service” when you cannot reach the IRS by phone, the office hours are limited, and answers are forced to come from hired third parties?  I have been forced into multiple-day issues with the IRS Website, no answers, no contact information, and no assistance until I hired someone who answered my questions at $100 an hour.  If the IRS reads this article, that is not how you define “top quality service.”

QuestionWhat is “fair share?”  Using this phrase, the IRS declares it is already politicizing the payment of taxes, as the expression “fair share” has been captured for more than a decade by the Democratic Party.  Using this phrase in your mission statement demands a straight and correct answer in the rest of your marketing materials.  Yet, no explanation has ever been found.

Enlighten me, the second bullet point, how is the taxpayer to “understand and meet” “tax obligations” when the agency who collects those tax obligations refuses to answer questions, actively hinders transparency, denies accountability and refuses scrutiny?  What are “compliant taxpayers?”  Through forced taxation, collected by fear of the stick, America has been abused since the IRS was created out of whole cloth, not from the U.S. Constitution, but the demented minds of a president and complicit Congress.

Under the heading of “Statutory Authority,” we find the following:

The IRS is organized to carry out the responsibilities of the secretary of the Treasury under section 7801 of the Internal Revenue Code. The secretary has full authority to administer and enforce the internal revenue laws and has the power to create an agency to enforce these laws. The IRS was created based on this legislative grant.

Section 7803 of the Internal Revenue Code provides for the appointment of a commissioner of Internal Revenue to administer and supervise the execution and application of the internal revenue laws.”

Gravy TrainAt least the grammar and sentence structure are better. However, having read sections 7801 and 7803 of the Internal Revenue Code, I have serious reservations.  For example, how did the IRS become the sole government agency in charge of defining an employee, controlling the employee/employer relationship, and acting as the force behind employment law?  When did Congress provide you with this authority?

Dont Tread On MeI repeat, only for emphasis, the following:
“The IRS governs every action made in an employment situation, and the IRS has given great latitude to the employer, making you the property of the IRS, with control granted to your employer. As a result, the IRS remains a danger to every American and the globe.  Why is the United States the only industrialized nation to not allow options to the employee/employer relationship, squashing innovation, curtailing small business opportunities, and unequally tipping the scales for large organizations?  Look to the IRS!  Want to point fingers, thank President Woodrow Wilson (D), his complicit Congress, and his executive orders!”

Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot? – The COVID Vaccine Issue

Dont Tread On MeLet me emphasize; I am not a medical professional!  I am not providing medical advice to or not to obtain the COVID Vaccine.  I am a concerned American willing to put forward his concerns.  I am concerned about the liberties and freedoms being stolen through social fear, spun by the media hype, and pursued relentlessly by government and big Pharmaceutical companies.  Compounded by non-government organizations, businesses, and other groups, whose behavior remains inconsistent with any other viral disease in history.  Please allow me to emphasize a point that is stated in many of the peer-reviewed articles on vaccines, “Safety of these vaccines, when given in combination with other vaccines, is not proven” (section 2.1) [emphasis mine].

NO FearThis particular warning is directly copied from a published paper (2014) on HPV vaccinations in India.  Similar wording has been witnessed on every other vaccine-related research paper I have personally reviewed.  As a variable, multi-vaccines can cause additional problems that makes targeting a single vaccine provided simultaneously tricky.  This is why most vaccines in the United States are now given individually with time between injections to study the patient’s response to the vaccine.

At the start of June, the question was posed, “Was COVID-19 a dry run?”  I am still not a conspiracy theorist!  However, I have more concerns.  In conducting research last week, I found reputable sources declaring that COVID-19 was never about the viral disease itself but creating enough social turmoil to force vaccinations.  A scary and slippery slope indeed.

QuestionMany of my sources have been scrubbed from the Internet on three different search engines between Friday night and Monday morning.  Again, not a conspiracy theorist but a concerned American looking for answers.  During his 17 May 2021 address, the President informed me that since the vaccine is free (monetarily), I have no excuses left not to get the vaccine.  Except, there are still no long-term studies about this vaccine, and I have questions about the interactions between the vaccine and the prescription drugs I already take.  Worse, as a person who already suffers shortness of breath, and since the vaccine can cause shortness of breath, will the vaccine make the current problems with breathing worse?

To date, no provider or vaccine manufacturer has provided detailed data indicating one way or another on these health questions.  I want this clear; I am NOT anti-vaccine, but I need to know.  Multi-drug intoxication leads to death!  Legal drugs, illicit drugs, everyday over-the-counter drugs, and vitamins must be precisely reviewed to protect a patient’s existing health.  Except where the COVID Vaccine is concerned, none of this matters, and I want to know why.  As of 14 June 2021, The New York Times is reporting the CDC is investigating rare heart problems after COVID Vaccinations in more than 800 people.  This fact alone should cease the forced vaccinations for COVID by the FDA.  Why hasn’t the FDA acted already?

Angry Wet ChickenI am not a legal expert or a medical professional; thus, please feel free to correct me if I get some of the details wrong here.  From 1996 to 2006, I watched the human papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine “Gardasil®” go through the FDA approval process.  I remain especially concerned about this vaccine due to the connections between the HPV human trials in India and the short- and long-term effects the Indian women have suffered since they participated in these trials.  Articles recording the HPV long-term effects are still published in peer-reviewed journals of medicine.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has statutory approval authority for all sorts of functions where foods and drugs are consumed in the United States.  Similar agencies exist in other representative governments, and the processes can be just as taxing to obtain information from.  The FDA prepared a “Vaccine Development – 101” marketing information for public release.  Which reveals nothing, hides a lot, and answers very few questions, but I included the link for your personal research.Plato 2

The FDA reports there are seven steps from the initial research and development of a vaccine in a laboratory to final approval and continuous monitoring through VAERS.  Vaccine adverse event reporting system (VAERS) is the repository for data on vaccines approved by the FDA.  It is publicly accessible, and you can fact-check how many people have suffered from the COVID vaccine or any other vaccine.  You need to understand the statistical data, so grab your data analysis skills or a friend and deep dive to your heart’s content.

What happens after Research Ethics and Morals are sundered?

Bait & Switch 2Three years before the FDA Approval of the HPV vaccine, the Indian government excoriated the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and a local Indian health partner for ethical violations in the HPV vaccine trial.  At the time, this was big news; now, the Big Tech companies are working hard to suppress the data.  These facts are laid down as a framework of before and after for the HPV vaccine trials.  The problems with HPV have not gone anywhere, but the HPV vaccine trials were a prominent and significant moral and ethical issue until COVID came along.  As a point of reference, the HPV vaccine trials in India supplanted the Tuskegee Institute’s abuse of patients as the worse case of research ethical, moral, and legal violations.

The European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) has covered the HPV vaccine Indian trials quite extensively, and complete information can be researched through their links by following this link.  The background and continuing research on HPV vaccine trials are critical to the COVID vaccine due to the mass human testing and the lack of accountability and responsibility from the parties pushing a vaccine that has left people blind, deaf, paralyzed, sterile, or dead.  The warnings for the COVID vaccine are very similar; the COVID vaccine could leave you in a number of worsened permanent injuries than suffering a couple of days with COVID; yet, COVID was indemnified, the HPV vaccine was not.  Still, those who have suffered have not even gotten a paper apology from the manufacturers, the US-Based non-profits, or the local Indian health partner.

VaccineHence, one can conclude if the population is cherry-picked, lacks sufficient resources, and is in a remote spot, medical ethics can be damned and humans tested with impunity.  The same thinking existed at Tuskegee Institute and led to the US adopting thousands of pages of ethical and legal standards for conducting human research.  Except, when fear is great enough, the media is hyping enough and peddling the Kool-Aid, and the government suspends their own rules and regulations, you can get FDA approval in record time with no long-term studies on effectiveness or even tolerances for safety.

America is in trouble when the US Constitution can be flaunted, and judges can legislate from the bench that employers can make employment contingent upon forced vaccination.  This case, and several others, will eventually end in the Supreme Court.  Will the milk toast judges, specifically appointed to protect our Constitutional Rights, waiver on the freedom and liberty clauses, or will they purchase a backbone and stand against the continued encroachment of rights and liberties in the name of kowtowing to the manipulated media and influenced government bureaucrats?  I would never have thought ObamaCare would have withstood the smell test and the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness clauses in the US Constitution, and we all know how that worked out!Why

With all the hype, media attention, and focus on the vaccine and not disease prevention, I can only ask questions.  Why is COVID being treated differently than every other viral disease in history?  Who is making money on the vaccine, and why is the vaccine being forced upon healthy populations that would do better without the vaccine?  Science abounds that claims if you are healthy, without co-morbidities, you can survive a case of COVID-19 (SARS-Cov-2), and be your immune system would be more beneficial than if you had the vaccine.  Why is everyone focused on vaccination when the mortality of this virus is significantly less than its nearest viral infection neighbor?  Why is the media focused on forced vaccinations; shouldn’t the press be pushing for revealing the truth, not drinking the Kool-Aid?

Knowledge Check!On 09 June 2021, The New York Times reported that the current COVID vaccine would “probably need booster shots.”  Why does this remind me of the continuous security updates to my computer?  Since the original COVID-19 virus is dead, what is the vaccine protecting us from?  Viruses mutate, frequently, often, and repeatedly; this is well-known to virologists who often repeat this fact in their research.  Yet, the media appear to be stuck on one variant, the original and then come up with crazy names for new variants.  Like naming weather systems and storms.  All this does is continue to spread fear and knee-jerk reactions, powered by emotional hyperbole. So why get a booster shot for a new strain?  Isn’t this a sneaky way of keeping the emergency going and emergency funding from the government flowing into Big-Pharma’s pockets?

Audemus Jura Nostra Defendere – Revisiting a Principle!

Angry Grizzly BearAlabama’s state motto has been used previously to discuss maintaining and defending our inalienable rights as provided by the deity and ensconced into law.  Well, after the week America has had, it is time to revisit this principle and ask for your assistance in raising our voices in defense of American Law.

Audemus Jura Nostra Defendere” – “We dare to defend our rights,” also translated as “We Dare to Maintain our Rights.”

The second sentence of The Declaration of Independence is long but influential and partially quoted below emphasis mine:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

You have a right to life, and yet the government, bureaucrats, and organizational leaders are trying to do precisely this, take your life, steal your right to pursue happiness with or without a vaccine that causes death, and treats people unequally based upon the vaccine.  More than 600,000 Americans have lost their lives through failure to act and caused COVID to be worse than it should have been.  Worse, there are factors actively striving right now to continue to strip your liberties, chain your children to debt captivity, and much worse.  Do you dare to defend your rights?  Do you dare to maintain your rights?  If not, stop reading right now.  If so, pay attention, America is in the most danger it has ever faced, and your ability to stand and defend and maintain your rights is critical to saving America.Apathy

America this week learned that colleges are stripping student rights, liberties, and freedoms to demand they obtain a vaccine that is less effective due to the youth of the students and is causing heart problems in Israel, Canada, and America.  Your children are being ordered to obtain the COVID Vaccine, and none of the politicians are standing up and screaming, not for my constituents!  Does anyone else wonder why we have Constitutional liberties being stolen, and the politicians are silent?Vaccine

Now, consider what the fraudulent president assured America of, “If there’s one message to cut through to everyone in the country, it’s this: Vaccines are safe.”  Yet, at the start of their lives, young people are experiencing heart problems from these “safe” vaccines right now!  What will we learn in 5 or 10 years about the long-term health effects of the COVID Vaccine?  The AstraZeneca vaccine is not permitted in America, as of the president’s speech on 17 May 2021.  Yet, we are shipping this vaccine all around the world.  The same vaccine that was never “officially” tied to blood clotting problems in Italy and other European countries.  Why?  The clinical trials for the vaccine strictly refused pregnant women or those women wishing to become pregnant, but all women are being encouraged to get vaccinated.  There is a health danger, and the vaccine is the root of the threat.Life Valued

I repeat myself only for emphasis; I am not “Anti-Vaccine.”  I am a concerned American who is already taking several prescription drugs. Unfortunately, none of the manufacturers can answer simple questions about the vaccine and how these drugs interact with my medication.  My wife sent me the following; want to know more information, watch the video.  It is well worth your time.  Plus, the video opens more questions about the mRNA vaccine technology, whether the COVID Vaccine is a vaccine, and whether you should exercise your right not to inject something questionable into your body.  I am not telling you to act one way or another, but I encourage you to ask providers tough questions before allowing the jab.Plato 2

In a pretty hushed-up report this last week, we learned that prices were up almost 6% from a year ago when inflation was problematic enough to be part of the presidential races.  Now, inflation in April was up 4.6%, and the Federal Government was still throwing cash into the marketplace.  Debt continues to skyrocket; your local political leaders are debating who has the authorization to spend the money the Federal Government just threw at them.  Yet, no one asks how high inflation will be by year’s end or where the money is coming from.  The only way to maintain our rights is to ask more challenging questions and demand answers from those supporting the flagrantly destructive policies of the current political leaders!

Knowledge Check!The powers who think they can control the government consider themselves above the law, and they are responsible for the more than 600,000 direct COVID-19 related deaths and the more than 14,000 COVID Vaccine deaths.  Is your right to life sufficiently strong enough to motivate you to action?  Will you defend your family and extended family’s rights to life?  Look at the links, look at the data, ask questions, and then make your mind up regarding your right to life and your pursuit of happiness with or without the COVID Vaccine as well as the soon-to-be rolled out boosters, updates, and additional chemicals.

NO MORE BS: Indifference

Sympathy v Empathy v ApathyMilitary commanders are taught there are two great sins in planning operations; one is waiting, and predictability and the other is indifference.  Today, business leaders are instructed well by academics about the problems with waiting to make a decision, failing to act, and the costs of blown opportunities from taking too long to make a decision.  But few have ever considered the costs of indifference.  I intend to close this gap in education, using some recent examples and some history to reflect why indifference is a corrosive acid on the souls of men.

Indifference

Indifference is all about a lack of interest, not having or showing concern, and refusing sympathy.  Webster has also referred to indifference as unimportant.  When discussing the sympathetic aspects of indifference, please remember, sympathy is part of the emotions of ruination.  Many people continue to become lost in showing empathy and sympathy when choosing not to emote or become involved in the feelings of others is a better course of action.  Lacking sympathy might not be a terrible thing in a particular circumstance and does not reflect indifference.

What is the distinction between choosing not to emote and indifference?

Not Passion's Slave - Emotions and ChoiceLet’s take Robert Solomon’s position that emotions are a choice, a judgment, and a social event. Indifference is not distinguishable from other emotions and remains a choice, a judgment, or a social event.  Except one is not left trying to distinguish between indifference as emotion and indifference as lacking interest or caring.  More to the point, if indifference was simply an emotion to choose, then indifference is apathy, and apathy is another emotion on the path to ruination.

Hence, there must be more to the concept of indifference to make the separation between indifference as emotion and indifference as an action.  Let us pause here for a moment mentally and keep one principle firmly in mind, indifference, or the activities that reflect indifference, are a choice, a decision, and judgment about the social situation.  Choices have natural consequences that cannot be escaped.  The consequences of choosing indifference cannot always be controlled or directly understood as lines of congruence from the choice of indifference to the consequences of indifference.  These principles remain valid for all emotional choices expressed by humans.  Worse, the valuation of the consequences can vary wildly from person to person, creating additional consequences that snowball into major social events quickly.

Emtional Investment CycleSolomon makes a classic point in tying indifference to defensive mechanisms used in choosing emotional interactions for social situations.  Indifference can reflect envy, resentment, hate, disdain, and the “opposite” of these emotions: love and respect—indifference embodying the individual’s psyche through emotional choices.  When angry, frustrated, or time-pressured, how many times has the words “I don’t care” slipped out as the position when at another time the decision would not have been indifferent?  Is the defensive aspect clear?

Please note, when using the term opposite, I am trying to be easily understood.  The problem when discussing emotions is that there are no clear-cut opposites to emotions.  For example, the opposite of light is dark; but light shades include darkness to set emotional states or moods.  Opposite always depends upon the context, e.g., the social situation of human interactions.  Another aspect of emotions is the transformation from one to another, the speed of transformation, and the social context forcing a change.  Thus, making distinctions between emotions remains ambiguous and always will depend upon context and the social environment.Apathy

Finally, please remember that positive and negative are valuations of consequences, not emotional choices.  The emotional choice will have consequences, and the social situation, the judgment, and the choice will be reflected in the consequences experienced.  The emotion itself cannot be judged without the consequences, and the valuation of the consequences is deeply personal.  Hence trying to characterize an emotion is simpleminded and detrimental to all aspects of emotional valuation.  The emotion cannot be evaluated or valued, but the consequences from that emotional choice must be considered and given value.  Does this make sense?

People seeking to control social situations employ emotional sophistry to plasticize the emotion and the consequence into weapons to force those they select to either come closer or move further away.  Where indifference is concerned, the aspects of defense remain the most influential aspect of emotional choices leading to action.  The cost and constraint of emotion are all found in the consequences of that emotional choice and social environment.  Defense mechanisms work to protect, but as the axiom goes, a good defense is supported by a good offense.  The best defensive drivers drive offensively and defensively, balancing the offense and defense to protect themselves, as a continuous string of decisions while driving.Plato 3

I realize this was a long explanation, but understanding the consequences of choosing to emote, choosing to be indifferent as a defensive position, and employing other emotions in social environments to judge others, are all connected emotionally speaking.  Remaining interconnected and the failure to describe these relationships does not produce the understanding for evaluating the situations around us properly.  Let me be clear, the difference between choosing to emote and indifference is the defensive aspect of indifference when applied to a social situation.

Indifference in Action

Consider the teenager who, when given a choice, screams, “I don’t care.”  When they calm down, who will care a great deal but are stuck inside their choice and consequence cycle because they chose to defend when they needed a different emotional response to a particular situation?  My wife, when we got married, discussed how to decorate the home.  I decided that the home looks and the decorations making a house a home were beyond my purview, realizing I have no taste in furnishings and am happy with bare essentials.  This decision has aggravated and grated on my wife for our entire marriage (20+ years), but I refuse to budge.Plato 2

I am not indifferent to what the house looks like, but I have no interest in the minutia of decorations and decorating.  Hence, my simplicity is not indifference, as my wife has judged, but a recognition that there are more important aspects to life than choosing colors and styles of curtains, where furniture goes, or how to light a room.  My consequence has been that sometimes I might not like her ideas but live with them due to the consequences of my choice to stay out of decorating decisions entirely.  I have also had to move furniture I did not particularly like because she prefers a style and shape.  My decision has also led to a host of other consequences.  Since I refuse to budge on helping to decorate, I remain indifferent to how the house looks and push all credit onto her while accepting the blame for anything out of place or undesired in her home.

WhyPublic examples of indifference abound; one of the most obvious was the Beer Summit.  President Obama’s indifference to police officers during the Henry Louis Gates arrest debacle in July 2009 reflected poorly in a socially political aspect for all his faults and all his other decisions.  Thus the “Beer Summit” was held to improve the appearances of indifference towards police by the sitting US President.  Except, the “Beer Summit” was as empty as the calories of the beer consumed for the next time a police controversy arose, the sitting US President went out of his way to blame police before all the facts were known.  Leading to the question, what is President Obama defending by showing indifference to police officers?

Another aspect of indifference has been the Federal Response to individual states legalizing cannabis, a trend that took off under President Obama.  The executive in charge, the sitting US President, reflected indifference towards states broadening the “state-approved legal” use of cannabis.  Was the sitting president indifferent due to a defensive position due to his history of drug use?  Are the stories true that President Obama smoked cannabis in the White House?  Is there a connection between indifference showed by the US President and the rise of states legalizing cannabis?

Question 3President Trump was criticized for caring too much about war zones and problems outside the United States, while the infrastructure crumbled and the poor suffered.  President Obama was criticized for his refusals to enforce “Red Lines” being crossed with impunity and where internationally illegal weapons of mass destruction were employed.  Which one was a reflection of indifference?  Why?  I am not getting into political discussions here; the topic is indifference, and recognizing indifference and the consequence from indifferent actions remains crucial to improving decision-making.  Both presidents inherited situations where American Troops were in harm’s way, and these troop conditions rightly took priority in decision-making short and long-term.  Yet, which president was indifferent?  Why?  Does indifference change solely because of political leanings?  Why?

President Biden was criticized for being indifferent to National Guard Troops sleeping in parking garages during his ascension and confirmation as US President in January and February 2021.  When the political appearances could no longer be sidestepped, token measures were taken to improve troop comforts.  What is President Biden defending where US Troops in the US Capitol are concerned?

Knowledge Check!Indifference surrounds us in every social situation, every day.  Do we understand the role indifference is currently playing in obstructing development, hampering growth, and destroying lives?  Since Feb. 2020, the globe has witnessed governments running away with stealing freedoms and liberties from the citizenry, issuing mandates and restrictions without due process, all because of a “health emergency.”  The indifference to science by the politicians stealing liberty has been deafening.  The indifference to the citizenry and the judiciary has also been deafening.  To fight indifference, we must first understand what we are witnessing and then address that indifference at the source.  We must realize our own indifference and determine why before we can begin to understand the larger applications of indifference and force change.

NO MORE BS: Climate Change is GOVERNMENT CONTROL!

Angry Grizzly BearTo some of you, I am preaching to the choir; but sometimes the choir sings better when they have more knowledge.  Please help sing louder.  To others, what I am about to say is so far out of your current understanding that your brains might hurt; I am sorry.  You will never understand snowflakes and trolls, but I am willing to take that chance!

According to the Wall Street Journal, the fraudulent president, President Biden, is taking the same plan President Obama used to restrict America to a Climate Change job-killing pogrom!

Mr. Biden is essentially doing an end-run around the Constitution, which requires approval by two-thirds of the Senate for the President to enter a treaty. The emissions reductions that foreign leaders pledged on Thursday aren’t legally binding, but Mr. Biden intends to use regulation to bind Americans.”

This single statement should scare every American, whether you believe in Climate Change Hype or not.  President Obama and now President Biden refuse to act within the law where climate change is concerned.  This means there are nefarious problems, greedy hands, and legal issues the sitting president is trying to keep hidden from American citizens.  Unfortunately, this is just the beginning of the Climate Change Pogrom Plans that have been made public.Problems

What is a Pogrom?

A pogrom is a violent massacre or destruction by a government entity against its own citizens.  Nazi Germany changed the law, then massacred legally their Jewish, Catholics, Handicaps, mentally handicapped, and other aspects of undesirable citizens.  Stalin and Mao have used pogroms to murder, execute, and destroy their own people, neighbors, and many others.

Why is Climate Change a Pogrom?

From the Wall Street Journal, “Businesses will be conscripted as foot soldiers in the progressive war on fossil fuels.  America’s founders believed that the Constitution’s separation of powers would safeguard individual liberty, but this assumes Congress guards its power” [emphasis mine].  The separation of powers was supposed to stop this madness.  As President Obama demonstrated, there are loads of chicaneries the legislative branch can get away with, and Congress and the Judicial Branch refuse to exert their powers.

Millstone of Designed IncompetenceNow, let’s talk about the 10-year plan, a $2.3 Trillion plan that is a “more-than-infrastructure proposal” but is nothing but the Green New Deal in disguise.  So far, the best record for the details that have been released comes from DailyMail.com.  We need to be clear, not all the details have been released, but those released details should scare every person in America into action against this power seizure!

  1. Biden vowed that America would be “on a path of a zero-emissions economy by no later than 2050.”
      • Where is the US Congress in agreeing to this plan?
      • Where is the complete plan laid out for the American People to review and approve?
      • America is a Republic (if we can keep it), and I do not see anything that reveals this information, neither does DailyMail.com.
  2. From experts, to reach a zero-emissions economy, the following will have to occur within the next 10-years:
      • All meat consumption, especially red meat, will have to drop to less than 4 pounds a month per American, or roughly 90% of today’s consumption rates for red meat and a 50% cut in all animal consumption. Essentially, America would be on a 0.18 ounce of meat per day for protein.
      • Every single American will have to buy an electric car, currently a $55K investment.
      • Electric heat, solar panels, windmills, and more would have to be drastically increased, increasing the cost of electricity to roughly $5700 a month for heating and cooling your home.
      • The costs of the plan, to start, begin at $2.3 Trillion. If ObamaCare is any indicator at how fast cost estimates by the government are surpassed, a closer cost estimate is around $500 Trillion!  Don’t forget the farrago that was the ObamaCare Website!  Including:
          • $85 Billion for infrastructure modernizing public transit.
          • $174 Billion replacing lead pipes and modernizing drinking water and sewer systems.
          • $100 Billion to protect nature-based infrastructure.
          • $40 Billion for housing infrastructure.
              • What does this mean?
          • $100 Billion for upgrades to the electrical grid.
          • $100 Billion for new public schools.
              • Why?
              • Isn’t this a state issue?
              • Aren’t I, and every other American, already paying for school modernization?
          • $10 Billion for upgrading federal buildings.
              • Why isn’t this already occurring?
          • $35 Billion for investing in climate science.
          • $10 Billion for an enforcement arm, called the Civilian Climate Corps.
  1. How many dairy farms, ranches, and other animal husbandry jobs will be lost to reduce protein intake to 0.18 ounces daily?
  2. How many restaurant jobs will be wiped out due to the costs that will disproportionately fall upon the reduced middle-class and lower class of people?
  3. How many American jobs in Natural Gas and Oil fields will be lost to other countries that do not have to follow the same plan to reduce emissions?
  4. How much of the economy will be sacrificed for science projects and liberal pipe dreams?
      • Public transit systems are a colossal waste of tax dollars just for inner-city transit; how about intra-city transit?
      • AMTRAK hasn’t been able to turn a profit on carrying people between cities ever; how does modernizing public transit improves the loss of taxpayer dollars down this well of liberal insanity?

Andragogy - LEARNRemember, our pattern for this insanity is from President Obama, who had a comfortable first two years due to a friendly House and Senate. They could not do these enviro-legislation issues due to US Constitutional problems, so President Obama used executive orders.  Again and again, climate science has proven to be a money-sucking black hole for taxpayers while the limited few buy new jets, new luxury yachts and force restrictions upon everyone else.

ApathyHow many people will die from the cold or the heat due to the cost of electricity, electricity failure, and not having a backup or tertiary source for heat or cooling?  Every year America sees people die from the cold and excessive heat.  Want a pattern for how higher electricity costs and liberal-brain dead solutions work; let’s look at California.  Last year, loss of power killed people on medical equipment, where electrical lines were not properly maintained, sparked fires, and rolling brownouts are common.  Now that you see the middle and lower class sacrifices, ask yourself, did Speaker Pelosi (D) or any of here Hollywood and political buddies suffer any inconveniences from brownouts and loss of electrical power?

LookHey Speaker Pelosi, how big are your freezers and refrigerators again?  How many do you have in your walled mansion?  How much electricity do you consume?  Climate scare is a method for an unconstitutional power grab, plain and simple, and every single American needs to be actively engaged in fighting these restrictions!  The fight for liberty is cloaked in “Climate Science,” and every nation on earth has been infected with this power-grabbing sickness where politicians win and the citizens lose!

NO MORE BS: Statehood for DC – A Total Waste of Time!

Angry Wet ChickenAnother legislative session, another brain-dead idea passed off as needed, fair, and necessary, and wholly without merit.  Gosh, I am fed up with the time wasted by both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.  Speaker Pelosi (D) is pontificating about the U.S. House passing (again) legislation to make the District of Columbia a state.  Except, Speaker Pelosi (D) never saw a liberal idea she didn’t immediately love, embrace, and wholeheartedly support, so nothing new in this news.

President Biden (no surprise here) backs the idea he has previously not supported as a Senator.  Color me shocked!  What did not surprise me was racist and belligerent commentary on the house floor during the debate.  It seems, every time someone with a (D) after their name can play the race card, the race card gets thrown down.  No objectivity, no specificity, no reason, logic, only plain emotion, malice, and stupidity!  Man, the use of the race card has gotten ridiculous.  Read Rep. Jones’s (D) comments, and feel free to laugh at the stupidity!  Plain ol’ public scorn should follow commentaries like the statements Rep. Jones (D) made, including mockery, shunning, and shame!

On the issue of race, the 2019 Census estimates 46% of D.C.’s residents identify as “Black,” and 46% identify as “White.”  Leaving a mere 8% of the population to fill all other ethnicities and races.  Yet, Rep. Jones (D) wants to make D.C. becoming a state a race issue.  Queue the mocking laughter and public shaming!Calvin & Hobbes - Irony Hurts

One of the issues brought up for making the District of Columbia a state was the amount of taxes they pay.  Personally, I laughed at this argument!  Still laughing; not sorry!  How long has the District of Columbia elected mayors who have done nothing but tax and spend; almost forever!  Taxation without representation is a dead issue when you elect tax and spenders into office.  As I was told as a kid, “You made your bed, now sleep in it!”  Think I might be wrong, understand the following:

No Republican has ever been elected mayor since D.C. home rule began in 1975. The DC Republicans have had no representation in the D.C. Council since Carol Schwartz left office in 2009. As of January 7, 2019, there are 30,001 registered voters affiliated with the Republican Party of the District of Columbia” [emphasis mine].

It appears to me, thou doth protest too much, and consequences hurt!  One-party rule is never a good idea, but the District of Columbia has embraced one-party everything and is suffering accordingly!  Please note, I am not claiming the Republicans could rule any better, but I am arguing that one-party rule is NEVER a good idea!

What is the issue?

Detective 4The District of Columbia keeps petitioning to become a state.  The U.S. Constitution provided for a federal district under the exclusive authority of the U.S. Congress; D.C. is therefore not a part of any U.S. state.  Since this is a U.S. Constitutional issue, it will require all 50-states to ratify a change to the U.S. Constitution, not simply the wasting of time and resources of the U.S. House of Representatives.  But, as they say on the Home Shopping Network, “There’s more.”  With 34 US States never having been made states properly, according to the US Constitution, and their lands remain under “Federal Government Control,” I do not see DC being a state that big of an issue!

The District of Columbia is a unique federal district of the U.S. The Government of the District of Columbia operates under Article One of the United States Constitution and the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, which devolves certain powers of the United States Congress to the Mayor and thirteen-member Council.  The District of Columbia Home Rule Act was a compromise back in the 1970s to allow more self-rule to D.C. while still being within the boundaries of the U.S. Constitution.  While the District of Columbia Home Rule Act caused some pretty wild protests, this was expected as a compromise between Congress and the local D.C. residents.  All the adults know that a good compromise leaves everyone upset.  How effective has the District of Columbia Home Rule Act been; well, look at the before and after economics, and the problem becomes loud and clear.  Taking us back to why I am still laughing and still not sorry!

For the lawyers in the house, the District of Columbia Home Rule Act is a quagmire of legal jargon and directionless logic like no piece of legislation it has ever been my displeasure to review.  If you can make sense of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, please I.M. me directly, for I have questions and need answers.  Thank you!Apathy

Dont Tread On MeToday’s chicanery in the U.S. House of Representatives was not the first time a piece of legislation making D.C. a state has passed the house.  I doubt this will be the last time our tax dollars are wasted on passing frivolous legislation on a U.S. Constitutional issue that will be passed in the U.S. House of Representatives.  Have any of the elected officials in the U.S. House or Senate read the U.S. Constitution, US Bill of Rights, or other founding U.S. documents?  I figured those with (D) had read their Marx and Keynes, but they were not elected to act like Keynes or Marx!

NO MORE BS: Sacrifice and Selfishness – Understanding Begets Power

Personally, I do not care what you believe for religion, nor do I care about your bedroom choices, your skin color, your culture, heritage, or even your clothing or hairstyle.  What you do is more important.  What I do is more important.  How we form a free-thinking society, responsible people who love freedom and liberty under the “Rule of Law” is more important.  I have been called a bigot, a racist, a sexist, and so much more, primarily by ignorant byzantines who projected their own inadequacies, and I happened to call them out.  I have thick skin and big shoulders; you want to accuse me of stupid stuff; that is your choice; thankfully, you will also enjoy the consequences.

What is Sacrifice?

Webster provides multiple definitions for sacrifice; only those contained below are we considering:

      • An act of giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important or worthy.”
      • A bid made in the belief that it will be less costly to be defeated in the contract than to allow the opponents to make a contract.”
      • Give up (something important or valued) for the sake of other considerations.”

Gary Hamel is quoted as saying, “A noble purpose inspires sacrifice, stimulates innovation, and encourages perseverance.”  Herein lies the importance of understanding sacrifice as a principle of power, a tool for constructing a life, and a mode of understanding the world.  People will always sacrifice for that which they desire; understanding this principle explains many human behaviors and the resulting consequences.

Consider our current (fraudulent) president, Biden.  He has sacrificed dignity, potential, life, and much more to attain in his senility the president’s chair.  I long to ask him if it was worth the sacrifice.  Except, the consequences of the president’s actions have ripped holes in the fabric of America, monumentally increased distrust in government at all levels, and is actively working to ruin America during his remaining days as president.  Hence, we must ask America, was the candidate worth the consequences?

As a principle, sacrifice must be understood as a double-edged sword; it cuts both ways.  Selfishly sacrifice, and you get harmed, selflessly sacrifice, and you gain even as you lose.  Like the double-edged sword, there is no safe spot to stand; you either slide one way or another, and danger lies on the edge of decision making.

What is Selfishness?

Interestingly, selfishness is being selfish, and being selfish is all about “lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with personal profit or pleasure,” according to Webster.  More specifically, selfishness is also self-centeredness and realizes that one is only concerned excessively or exclusively for oneself or one’s own advantage, pleasure, or welfare, regardless of others.

James Altucher is quoted saying, “Your competition is not other people but the time you kill, the ill-will you create, the knowledge you neglect to learn, the connections you fail to build, the health you sacrifice along your path, your inability to generate ideas, the people around you who don’t support and love your efforts, and whatever god you curse for your bad luck.”  The perfect summation of a life lived as selfish and self-centered.  Thereby presenting a person with some interesting questions, especially for juries deciding guilt or innocence, managers of people in employment, and parents of children.  Do we understand that selfishness is an empty hole that can never be filled?  Do we appreciate that sacrifices made selflessly are many times lost in the selfishness of others?  Will we choose to learn, connect, build, generate, and support?

Speaker Pelosi (D) is the most selfish person it has been my displeasure to know.  Blind to other people’s struggles, refusing to represent her district properly, continuously thinking she is the keystone in American Government and an institution in her own mind who refuses to act in any manner worthy of anything higher than utter contempt.  Unfortunately, Speaker Pelosi (D) is not alone in her attitude, actions, or refusal to represent those who elected them to a seat of American power.  If Speaker Pelosi had an ounce of humanity, she would have retired many years ago; instead, she bitterly clings to power and projects her insecurities and ineptitude onto others in her vile and detestable manner and methods.

Why is this topic important?

Sacrifice and selfishness are two sides of the same coin.  The extremes of a decision matrix line, where the person must choose, and cannot long remain neutral.  However, like all things, selfishness and sacrifice can be taken to the extremes, and in the extreme’s bondage, chaos, and trouble lie.  Do we, the lovers of liberty, understand that the extremes of anything bring problems, sickness, death, and disease?

Consider for a moment a friend of mine.  He sacrificed a lot of credit card debt to fund projects that were supposed to help other people.  But in the end, he had to file bankruptcy, he lost his house, he lost his spouse, and too many people thought his “sacrifice” was for selfish ends and hated him for his “gifts,” all while being “grateful for the gift” to his face.  Can a selfish act be a sacrifice worthy of the name; no!  We see this pattern explained in the New Testament when Jesus Christ is teaching the sermon on the mount; he talks about a man who fasts to be seen of men and has his reward not from God, but man.  He speaks of a man who prays on street corners to be seen of men and has his reward.  What is a sacrifice-minded person to do; enter into your closet and petition God in secret, and He who sees in secret rewards openly.

The connection between sacrifice and selfishness is clear, but also the extremes of action in selfishness and sacrifice are also apparent.  We have examples all around us of selfishness taken to extremes and the danger that lies on that path.  We also have examples around us of those who sacrifice selfishly and struggle.  The answer is to balance sacrifice and err on the side of selfless sacrifice; essentially, not running faster than we have strength.

Selfless sacrifice is not a new principle, tool, mode of living, or human capability, but selfless sacrifice requires discernment in making decisions.  Selfless sacrifice requires education, knowledge, and experience and includes failure!  Selfless sacrifice does not have a media cheering section but does come with genuine gratitude by those who know, and the reward is always greater than the sacrifice, law of the harvest.  Selfless sacrifice includes action, trust, hope, faith, and joy.  Paradoxically speaking, one would not involve joy in the activities of sacrifice.  Still, selfless sacrifice does include feelings of joy, hope and can be considered an extension of a person’s commitment to charitably living with others.

Best of all, selfless sacrifice is not a “religious” anything!  I know many great, and good people from all walks of life, and every religious flavor possible, and of them can be said, “They walk as an example of charity, hope, and faith embodied in human frailty.”  Hence, to all the irreligious and atheistic people, you can walk in like manner and have honor without affecting your choice of religiousness.  Selfless sacrifice contains the power to connect with other people, animals, and even plants in a more profound, more full manner than currently enjoyed.

I offer these thoughts for your consideration, hoping that by choosing differently, we can create a truly better world and not just a surface polish.  We, the humans on this planet, can live differently, without ruining our economies, without destroying each other, and without sacrificing freedom and liberty for the chains of government, and bondage to politically powered people.  All I ask is that you think about these principles and take action.  Thank you!
