Between Christmas and New Year 2019, I accepted an offer to write more frequently for a group that, at the time, was calling itself “No More BS.” What an amazing opportunity the challenge to write more regularly became, and how much I have come to enjoy writing. Like all things in life, the challenge came with a cost; I had exhausted myself mentally, I was spent by October. Physically my body could not answer the call of my mind, and my mind was screaming at me to stop. Let’s talk about drivers and BS, for the importance to American society success is found in ending the BS.
Little Joey Biden and his Afghanistan Debacle are still unfolding, and I fully admit this turn of events from August 2021 has left me numb. When America left Hanoi (April 1975) and Vietnam fell, many Americans, especially veterans, felt defeated in ways hard to describe. Who knew that in such a short space of time (less than 50 years), America would repeat Hanoi (August 2021) by a couple of magnitudes? Some very cynical veterans I know suspected the politicization of Afghanistan would lead to a repeat of history; but, I can honestly say I never expected Biden to act in such a disastrous and self-defeating manner.
Leaving Americans, allies, and stakeholders on the ground, holding the bag of responsibility, remains the quintessential yellow-spine craven move of the new century. One of the greatest insults from my time in the US Military was the corporatization of the military officer corps. Disconnecting responsibility and accountability, honoring weak-kneed drivel to the detriment of the professional NCOs and the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines has been utterly unacceptable. Why; because every corporatized military in history has failed! Now, America has Afghanistan and Vietnam, and the government leaders refuse to acknowledge they are the problem, and the sitting president rewards pubescent behavior. Sickening!
The military, to be effective, must be out of sync with the society they protect. A sacrifice principle is required from those who love country more than themselves and voluntarily wear their country’s uniform. Yet, the politics and political leaders refuse to allow the military to act at home and abroad, so we repeat history. May I ask, how many more Vietnam’s and Afghanistan’s does America need to relive before accepting that personal sacrifice is quintessential to a strong military? Mr. President, Little Joey, when does the BS end, and the motivation to lead return from bureaucratic hands to professional officers and NCOs? For I warn you, what you have right now is a mob, and you desperately need a military!
But, Afghanistan, in all its depravity, is not the only outrage from this year where BS needs to end. Consider something with me, the power of jury trials. High-profile trials have been occurring and continue through this holiday season and end-of-year celebrations. How incredibly grateful I am for the rule of Constitutional Law that provides for a jury by peers. More often than not, juries get the law right and hand down fair verdicts. Yet, the Corporate Media refuses to accept that jury trials are the best method for handling problems in a constitutional society. I have seen the media meltdowns repeatedly when juries hand down verdicts the media have tried and failed to influence.
Now ask yourself, dear reader, why does the media try cases before all the facts have been presented? Power, the answer remains ever simple, the media have become what they consider as THE single greatest power in American society. The self-delusion is a steaming hot pile of BS dished up for public consumption 24/7/365, and the media refuses to eat the BS they are serving. Considering themselves better than common citizens, above the law, the media companies have decided they can arbitrate, decide, and deserve to be listened to and obeyed. Well, jury trials work, and it is time more journalists are introduced to the concept through defending themselves in a court of law.
Worse than the corporatization of the US Military has been the continual erosion of the rule of law. The Uniform Code of Military Justice is regularly abused for the benefit of the powerful and the destruction of the weak. When the law is cheapened, joked about, and castigated, the trust in civil society is broken, and the military is but a smaller example of what is occurring in American society as a whole. When warriors are not judged by their deeds, but upon their political connections, the society hiring warriors, training warriors, and sending them into harm’s way will quickly find the warriors are gone. Their replacements are not worth the honor and trust. Leading to society being taken over and destroyed.
Feel free to disagree, but Rome remains the quintessential example in history of what happens when a republic fails to accept social consequences, infects its society from within, and then picks fights with neighbors. Rome had the greatest military in recorded history, and it fell ingloriously all because the military, a microcosm of the society as a whole, decided politics was more important than the rule of law. Popularity became more important than law and obedience to the rule of law. Who taught Rome to fall; who brought the Roman Legions to their knees? Look no further than their politically elected leaders who spent their time and the people’s money in riotous living, perversions, and trying to evade responsibility for their actions. Tell me, are we not seeing the same exact abuses in current society that is witnessed on the pages of history with Rome falling?
What is the only difference between Rome’s fall and any other government with elected political leaders? Advanced weaponry to include nuclear weapons. What is the only safeguard in republican and democratic societies strong enough to save those societies from repeating Rome’s example; learning history and obeying the rule of law. Of the two, learning history is more important, which is why learning history was the second casualty in the fight to overthrow the rule of law. The first casualty was teaching students how to read.
The abuse of children remains an utter abomination, and rightly so. But until the political leaders can be made to accept they are facilitating abusers of children masquerading as K-12 School Districts and teachers, the abuse of children, the wasting of precious resources, and the sacrifice of innocence will continue and worsen. In Virginia’s gubernatorial election this past November, the central theme was public education. Virginia, as your newly elected officials come into power, are you willing to watch those elected and demand they obey the electorate’s will and change education in your commonwealth?
Over the holiday, I watched heart-wrenching videos of parents who almost lost their child to suicide because the teachers groomed the child into transgenderism, all without the parent’s knowledge. Worse, the parents were abused by the government when the teachers involved called “Child Protection Services (CPS).” Tell me, when bureaucrats join together for the abuse of those they are duly sworn and duty-bound to protect, who is at fault; the elected leaders! What did the elected leaders do when the parents complained; they joined forces to continue abusing the child and the parents. The exact opposite of what they were hired to do, scrutinize the government employees and protect the electorate from abusive government operations, practices, and people.
Unfortunately, some of you think this is only happening in California, Virginia, New York, or some distant city/county/state. No, the truth of the matter is this is occurring in your child’s school district right now. Your children, grandchildren, cousins, and neighbors are all being abused and harmed, and the rot is at your doors. Don’t take my word for it; investigate for yourself. Go to local school board meetings and ask to see the curriculum your child is being exposed to, and you will find the truth, and the truth will first abhor, then anger, and then motivate you.
I hope the motivation will be sufficient to inspire action to become more informed, pay closer attention to local political races, and stop allowing incumbents a free pass to officiate in the destruction of America. One of the frequent conversations in my home is, “What are my plans after I complete the Ph.D. degree I am chasing?” The temptation is real to run for political office, either mayor or school board, sheriff, or judge; I want to get into this fight to defend the America I love. Most people think the battle for America’s soul is being fought in the US Senate or House of Representatives when the reality is the fight for America’s soul is being fought and lost in local elections, and it is time to find strong candidates who are willing to run for office and fight this fight locally.
The biggest lesson I have learned in writing this year, a degree doesn’t represent smarts or capability; those come by working in the trenches for something more important than self. The US Navy taught me endurance in the face of insurmountable odds and enemy shenanigans, and the US Army taught me to think and have grit and determination. I know I am not perfect; I am not the “picture perfect politician.” I prefer blue jeans and button-downs to suits and ties, but I know people, and I prefer real people to the fake effrontery currently holding the reigns of political power.
Writing this past year, I have faced my demons, and while I still fight those demons, I know the need to engage is real, helping others promotes healing, and teaching provides the opportunity to learn more perfectly. I know the power of citizens motivated to protect hearth and home, and I celebrate freedom. I would see my neighbors armed with knowledge, possessing the motivation to speak out and act according to beliefs and win the American heritage left us. I believe in America, and I know that when Americans are left alone, they use the power of freedom to change the world; all we need is to shrink the government, and America will begin to blossom again.
Shrinking the government begins locally. The local government protects against county and state government abuses. The state government protects against federal violations. The federal government protects borders and provides for the common trade of goods across state lines. Limiting government is not a bad idea at all; in fact, it is the only good idea that can help save America. Join me!

Parents, how many times have you witnessed a toddler going about their day, an idea crosses their face, and you can tell they are about to do something that gets that toddler in trouble? I heard a comedian talk about witnessing this as the toddler saw the cat sleeping in the sun, the toddler crossed the room and kicked the cat. When asked why the toddler claims “it was accident.”
Consider these definitions for a moment and the story about the toddler kicking the cat. We have a plan, a purpose, and a deliberate action. How does the parent discern the act was deliberate; the use of observation as to what the toddler had done to the cat previously, what the toddler was doing immediately before they kicked the cat, and the attempt to use an excuse to get out of trouble.
When defining discernment, I am not entering holy waters to discuss the pieces of discernment that belong to discerning for religions. Discernment is the ability to obtain sharp perceptions, observations that empower decision-making. Discernment can be psychological, moral, or aesthetic. Discernment is also defined through the contexts; scientific, normative, and formal. The process of discernment involves going past the mere perception of something and making nuanced understandings about its properties or qualities.
Unfortunately, this pattern repeats too often, and thus the need to understand discernment and correctly discerning intention. My intent is not to make you as adept at this practice as a police officer. In a Republic, and even in many democratic societies, the citizens need to discern and discern intention, two separate processes. The media will sell a lurid and emotionally charged story with all the bias of a bull in a China Shop and never care about the consequences. But, the citizen does not have the same luxury or legal protections as the media. Hence, we must discern what the media relates and discern the media’s intention before we ever read or listen to their story/reporting of events. Thus my intent in this article and bringing up this topic, we, the citizens, are held to a higher law than the media and cannot afford to form mobs, trust the media’s reporting, or even rely upon the press reported “facts” to discern and discern intent.
The process for critical thinking, leading to intentional decision-making, with purposeful action, generally follows the following pattern:
These steps are useless unless we understand our own intention before launching a decision-making process. Consider, do you intentionally believe that others are doing their best or giving their best efforts? Do you intentionally shut down your own opinion to consider the perceptions of others in making decisions? Where in those steps do you stop and take a moment to ponder the short and long-term consequences of the solution devised? When making decisions, do you ever consider the axiom, “If a solution is not Win/Win, everyone loses?” Do we fear failing to make a correct decision if the future teaches us something new about the data changing the pattern of decision-making? How do you learn?
In going back to the analogy of the toddler kicking the cat. Does the solution in the short-term mean corrective behavior modification for a long-term lesson learned? Does the better solution involve instruction as well as behavior modification? Have we, the parents, discerned correctly the intention of the toddler sufficient to justify our decision? Will the cat be safe around the toddler in the future because of the action we take at that moment?
I close with a challenge, use discernment more intentionally in learning your way through failure to success. Liberty and freedom allow us the power to fail our way to success, but only if we consciously choose to learn and discern better our steps in decision-making. Know your intent, take a moment every day to consider your intent, and purposefully make decisions to live your intentions. Trust yourself to discern. Your confidence in discerning is key to understanding and using your intention to power decision-making as a process. Please remember, what I am discussing requires time, you will fail, but you will also win and win BIG! Enjoy the journey of discovery!
Since February 2020, to date America, and the world has witnessed the cruel and unyielding hand of mobocracy practiced. Mobocracy is the rule of the mob transformed into governance. Consider the actions of several city councils and state legislatures where defunding the police has become the hottest political topic. The crowd screams for changes to the law, politicians pander, politicians pay “Dane-Geld,” and the laws change to satisfy the mob’s appetites. Thus, mobocracy is being practiced. Piven (2008) refers to mobocracy as when ordinary people “… rise up in anger and hope, defy the rules that ordinarily govern their daily lives, and, by doing so, disrupt the workings of the institutions in which they are enmeshed.”
Beginning with the US Constitution’s Preamble, a person will find why the government was instituted. “… in order to form a more perfect Union (government), establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.” The politicians who have sworn an oath to uphold the US Constitution who deny these statements are already guilty of treason and breach of office. Domestic tranquility cannot be achieved through the rule of the mob. Domestic tranquility cannot magically appear; it must be built through law and order, through justice and mercy before the bar of justice, and under a single “Rule of Law” for all citizens. Domestic tranquility must be fought for when tyranny rears its ugly head. The general welfare of the population can only be established by obedience to the just laws of the society to which a person belongs. Defunding the police tramples the welfare of society, domestic tranquility, and calls for the defense of the rule of law by every freedom-loving person in that society.
Article 1 Sections 4-8: Establish taxes, the military forces, the day of elections, when a term begins for an elected officer to the Congress, and other government details. Nowhere in these articles does it allow for one branch to dominate another branch. Nowhere in these articles provides for the senate of the house of representatives to do the others’ job. Each government establishment has a specific job to perform, and those politicians who refuse to do their job are breaching their oaths of office.
In the political realm, we see the same exponential growth of behavior. Speaker Pelosi is witnessed by her party, who then act as she does and commits larger or worse infractions than the Speaker. If you look at those termed the “The Squad,” the representatives are by far worse than Speaker Pelosi. The Squad learned how to be detestable to freedom-loving peoples from the Speaker and the second-generation politicians surrounding Speaker Pelosi. Want another example? Look at any recent (2000 to present) presidential election, and you will still find traces of previous President Clinton in the actions and words of the candidates of both parties. Consider Mitt Romney’s candidacy; he is very Bill Clintonesque in his politics and speech mannerisms, which remains the main reason he failed as a candidate for President.
Article 1 Section 9: Deals with two legal precedents that are much maligned and abused. Immigration and the Writ of Habeas Corpus. Immigration is a topic for a different post. However, the Writ of Habeas Corpus is crucial to this discussion. Habeas Corpus is, “… The legal procedure that keeps the government from holding you indefinitely without showing cause. When you challenge your detention by filing a habeas corpus petition, the executive branch must explain to a neutral judge its justification for holding you.” The Writ of Habeas Corpus can be suspended, and American History, including recent history, has provided examples of when and why habeas corpus has been denied, suspended, or revoked. The riots and acts of domestic terrorism are a clear example of why the Writ of Habeas Corpus can be and should be suspended. Rebellion and the breach of public safety are two different excuses for denying habeas corpus, and rioters and terrorists deserve to have habeas corpus suspended. Instead, the prisons have turned into a revolving door, the criminal justice system perverted, and the criminals laugh!
Article 1: Has several items that pertain to the illegality of state governors during the current COVID-19 health crisis, reflecting that these governors do not know the law and are in breach of their oaths of office. When the governor of New Mexico made a law stating that all the citizens of Arizona must be quarantined, interrupting the free flow of commerce from state-to-state, the governor forfeited her authority for political points, and the US Congress should have been demanding corrective behavior from the NM State Legislators. Yet, not a peep has been witnessed.
A legal dictionary provides a slightly broader definition of treason, “The offense of attempting by overt [or covert] acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign’s family. The betrayal of a trust: treachery.” Therein lies the justification for labeling the actions of politicians who breach the public trust with treason. Hence, the politician who breaks their oath of office to support and defend the US Constitution is committing treason.
I will not allow the US Constitution to be thrown down and mobocracy, meritocracy, democracy, communism, socialism, or any other form of government to supersede the US Constitution in the United States of America’s borders and territories. To those politicians working hand-in-hand with the mobs and others to destroy America, you are committing treason and will one day answer for your crimes before the bar of justice. During my military service, I read a quote applicable to the relationship between politicians working to destroy America and freedom lovers who support the US Constitution “No truer friend; no fiercer enemy!” No truer friend can be found than I in the US Constitution’s and the Bill of Rights support. No fiercer enemy can be found than I to those working to suppress the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights; “So, help me, God!”.

One of the clearest lessons discovered in life is that of genetic behavior, usually to the shame of the person witnessing their behavior being acted upon by others. We pass behavior onto our children, our acquaintances, and our circles of influence. The problem with genetic behavior is that of exponentialism or the exponential growth between generations. Research supports that cheating behavior in high school is found in cheating an employer later in life. Research also relates that those witnessing the cheating behavior will then steal. The third generation of people the behavior is passed onto will steal bigger items, cheat more, and commit more crimes. The cycle just keeps building until the criminal justice system is full of hard crimes committed.
Thus, freedom-loving people, who support justice, desire domestic tranquility, seek to provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and well-being of others, and work tirelessly to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, witness these politicians and want them removed, and held accountable for their crimes. Not to punish without cause, but to support the common good in America. The reason we have courts, lawyers, judges, etc. is to separate the crimes committed from the criminal committing. This is the epitome of the word justice. The US Criminal Justice System is imperfect, without doubt, but it remains the best system the world has ever seen and deserves support from law-abiding and freedom-loving people.
Make no mistake, I am not advocating for the refusal of these people to have their day in court, before an impartial judge, to be sentenced for their crimes, and held accountable before the bar of justice. I am advocating that until their trials can be arranged, they deserve to be held in prison awaiting the slow turning of the wheels of justice. When you break the peace of society, you give up your rights and liberties; thus, these mob members deserve to be held and witness their rights to habeas corpus rescinded.
COVID-19 does not represent a sufficient “imminent danger” to refuse or interfere with commerce passing between states. The “public health measures” enacted by the various state governors are a travesty of justice, unconstitutional, interferes with the rights and liberties of the people, and damaging the commerce and economy of the United States. Where are the politicians at the Federal Level to correct these abuses?

Every member of the US Military swears an eternal commitment to upholding this document, to securing the rights and laws of the United States as prescribed therein, and to follow the orders of the commander in chief before God. I have had the privilege of taking that oath six times in my life.
During my military service, I read a quote, applicable to the relationship between politicians working to destroy America and freedom lovers who support the US Constitution “No truer friend; no fiercer enemy!” No truer friend can be found than I in the support of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. No fiercer enemy can be found than I to those working to suppress the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights; “So, help me, God!”.
Dane-Geld is “a land tax levied in medieval England, originally to raise funds for protection against Danish invaders.” The 11th Century saw many frightened landowners who wanted peace raised money to pay-off the warring tribes of the north, called Danes. From across the land, the rulers gathered penny and pound to buy protection from these warring tribes. When the Dane’s saw how easy it was to obtain gold, they moved in and took the lands, and whole civilizations dropped into barbarianism, and the only reason we know these stories today, were the warring tribes of the Dane’s met cold steel in a furious fist and were beaten back.
Mayors, Governors, you have a choice, to pay the Dane his pound of gold, or to fight the terror in society and be remembered. The Mayor in Philadelphia during the riots past gave up entire city blocks for the Dane’s of her city to destroy, the Dane’s were not appeased, they moved in, and now control larger sections of the city than ever before. Seattle’s mayor recently paid the Dane’s and has become the laughingstock of America over CHAZ. Minneapolis, Detroit, Chicago, and so many other cities across America have bent the knee, paid the gold, and will never be rid of the Dane.
