LIC and The Department of Veterans Affairs

What is LIC?

Low-Intensity Conflict (LIC) is the official name for when individuals or governments hire intermediaries to conduct violent operations from a secure position. LIC is a misnomer; those who have become victims of the barbaric cruelty of those practicing LIC find nothing “Low” about the experience. The conflict is intense, the actions brutal, and the practitioners remain cunning adversaries using and employing willing dupes to hide the true depths of moral decay inherent in the societal destructions and depravations the practitioners are enacting. Many confuse LIC in describing the actions of unbridled violence committed by ideologues under the banner of terrorism. The US Military Joint Chiefs of Staff define LIC as:

“A limited political-military struggle to achieve political, social, economic, or psychological objectives. It is often protracted and ranges from diplomatic, economic, and psychological pressures through terrorism and insurgency. Low-intensity conflict is generally confined to a geographic area and is often characterized by constraints on the weaponry, tactics, and levels of violence (Tinder 1990) [emphasis mine].”

Green (1997) adds a key ingredient to the description of LIC from Tinder (1990).

“… Non-international conflict is a refined term for what [was] formerly known as revolutions or civil wars, particularly when these have developed into major operations with the likelihood or reality of atrocities being committed against non-combatants. Whether civilians or those [rendered] hors de combat, a fact that is often more common in non-international … conflicts, especially when ideological, ethnic, or religious differences are in issue. It is for this reason that it must be borne in mind that the term low-intensity [conflict] has no relation to the severity or violence of the conflict” [emphasis mine].

Lt. Colonel Alan J. Tinder wrote a paper for the Air War College in 1990 titled: “Low-Intensity Conflict.” I have learned much from the Colonel and benchmarked this principle to more thoroughly understand LIC, recognize LIC, and detail LIC for others. The other compelling source is L. C. Green’s paper on “Low-Intensity Conflict and the Law.” I aim to synthesize this information into a manageable topic and aid understanding. Let me state emphatically that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) leadership’s actions are nothing short of LIC where employees and veterans/customers are concerned.

Regularly, the Department of Veterans Affairs – Office of Inspector General (VA-OIG) reports on a comprehensive healthcare inspection of a VHA facility, reports on employee morale in the VBA, or sum analysis of an employee or customer surveys, and include in the report a fairly descriptive, yet starkly utilitarian phrase, “reduce staff feelings of moral distress at work.” Generally, the efforts to reduce “moral distress” is left to an underling, an assistant, or a person for whom this is a secondary or collateral duty and is not considered important or relevant.

Do the actions of a leader represent complicity in creating moral distress fit the general definition of LIC? Absolutely. Consider that the leader sets the culture through actions, words, and behaviors, which originate in the thoughts and feelings of the leader. Correcting moral distress is pawned off on a junior staff member as a collateral duty, another method for displaying disrespect and communicating principles of abuse to employees. But there is no physical violence; how does this apply to LIC? Aren’t dead veterans’ examples enough of violent tendencies to justify the definition of LIC? The VA leader operates from a place of security, exemplifies the culture they deem acceptable, and then works through minions to achieve a “to achieve the political, social, economic, or psychological objective.”

Never forget these two critical points in the description of LIC:

“Often protracted and ranges from diplomatic, economic, and psychological pressures.”

“LIC has no relation to the severity or violence of the conflict.”

At the VA, the leadership calls their example politics; keeping your position or advancing is economical, and the psychological pressure to conform is palpable. All fundamental keys to conducting LIC against veterans, taxpayers, dependents, and non-conforming employees. Multiple times Congress has held hearings and listened to how the VA Leadership exacted revenge and retaliation upon those who reported problems to the VA-OIG, their elected congressional leaders, and other investigative parties. Feel free to peruse some of these hearings; you will hear victims relating physical, economic, and mental abuse, and the VA leadership never takes action. Elected officials never scrutinize and hold accountable those executing LIC, and the victims are victimized a second time.

Want another indicator that LIC is being practiced, the VA-OIG, after learning there are problems with moral distress at work, makes the following to slide the issues under the proverbial rub:

“The OIG’s review of the medical center … did not identify any substantial organizational risk factors.”

Signifying that even though the VA-OIG found moral distress is affecting and influencing employee behavior, the VA considers employee moral distress not an “organizational risk factor.” What does an employee who feels morally distressed do in performing their duties? Delay patients’ appointments, make mistakes on medication shipped, slow walk any responsibility to make things more complicated and take longer than they should. Does any of these actions sound familiar; they should, for this is the standard operating procedure for VA employees.

As reported previously, while I worked at the VA, I had intimate observations of what morally distressed employees do. When I wrote to the VA-OIG, I was informed that since I had my employment terminated, I could not be a whistleblower and get my job back. Plus, what I reported could not be actioned because it did not apply. How’s that for protecting the guilty? The VA Leadership is writing procedures and policies to target anyone and everyone who would report problems and seek help. An employee physically assaulted me; the camera mysteriously broke when I reported it, so no evidence was available. Who was at fault? Me; the assistant director promoted the attacker, and I got ostracized. The attacking employee took moral distress to new heights after this incident, and anyone who reported their behavior felt the wrath of the attacker and the VA leadership at the Albuquerque VAMC.

What is horrendous, this is not an isolated incident. What happened to me frequently repeats daily across every VA office. LIC is the overarching term, LIC is the behaviors named, and LIC is what the taxpayers are forced to pay for, all at the expense of veterans, dependents, and employees who see, know, and can do nothing. Repetitions of moral distress in employees, reported by the VA-OIG, are more than 20 just in 2022. The problem is cultural, and the elected officials desperately need to begin doing their second job, scrutinizing the executive branch and holding people accountable, including canceling the retirement packages of those practicing LIC.

Before someone tries to make this a Republican vs. Democrat issue, it is NOT political. LIC is never political, just as LIC is never religious, never racist, not sexist, or any other distinction. These distinctions are excuses, and the reasons do not justify the means for being violent. The leadership at the VA, and many other government agencies, have found that abusing the taxpayer pays well, provides protection, and allows them to exercise dominion to their heart’s content, all with the power of government to justify their deeds.

Do you realize that the VA-OIG has a metric for measuring moral distress, and the only time the VA-OIG reports moral distress among employees is when the results are higher than national averages? How scary is that to ponder? The problem is so prevalent that it only warrants reporting when it exceeds the norm. Thus, moral distress is declared less frequently when the average worsens. Official protection for LIC is provided by LIC, increasing, and the taxpayer is footing the bill.

I have read reports where the moral distress has worsened from year to year. The same leaders exacerbating the problem of employee moral distress are promoted and moved instead of reprimanded, punished, or fired. One of the VA-OIG reports is particularly heinous in hiding moral distress in employees.

“Selected employee survey responses demonstrated satisfaction with leadership and maintenance of an environment where staff felt respected and discrimination was not tolerated. Patient experience survey data implied general satisfaction with the outpatient care provided; however, leaders had opportunities to improve inpatient care satisfaction [emphasis mine].”

Mark Twain is oft quoted as stating, “There are lies, damn lies, and statistics.” How much more valid are these words when results are “selected,” “cherry-picked,” or allowed to “imply generalities?” Those who engage in LIC are criminals, they are comparable to terrorists, and they have infiltrated the bureaucratic halls of government. Employing government power, they form unholy unions with social media outlets and media companies to further silence and abuse, all while increasing protection.

Where does it end? How do we put paid to the tyranny?

It ends when ordinary people decide they have had enough. Ending the LIC-powered tyranny requires nothing more than elected officials scrutinizing the government and doing the jobs they swore to commit. No violence, problematic or arduous tasks, merely following established law and doing the jobs we elected them to accomplish. LIC is always destroyed when the citizens being oppressed stand up for their rights and demand the bullies, tyrants, and fiends cease and desist!

Thomas Paine, writing in “Common Sense,” discussed simplicity, stating:

“I draw my idea of the form of government from a principle in nature, which no art can overturn, viz. that the more simple anything is, the less liable it is to be disordered; and the easier repaired when disordered.”

The American government was established on simplicity, and the US Constitution is a simple document. Using Thomas Paine’s pattern, the disorder in the government is simple to correct; all we need are people insisting that the infection is terminated. Using the systems established in the US Constitution, the US government can be brought to heel, the rot removed, and justice can be delivered to those tyrants employing LIC for personal gain and political profit. LIC is happening in every government agency, and it is time for change to begin. Where are the politicians willing to do the job we elected them to perform?

Mark Twain provides the final word, “The government of my country snubs honest simplicity but fondles artistic villainy, and I think I might have developed into a very capable pickpocket if I had remained in the public service a year or two.” From artistic villainy to LIC is not an arduous shift, merely the extension of abuse of power to a larger audience. Learn, choose, and then make your voice known through elections and peaceful assembly for redress per the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Iconoclasts – Know the Enemy!

During the Summer of 2020, the world watched in horror as a group of people became unhinged. They destroyed statues, wreaking images and ripping apart the social fabric of nations, destroying years of history all for purely political reasons and personal satisfaction. These iconoclasts did not spring up suddenly; they were carefully groomed into existence. The anger they expressed had been carefully tindered, fed, and fueled into the raging inferno observed on the nightly news. Nothing is sacred to an iconoclast. Any image, including statues, paintings, murals, buildings, everything man has ever created for social, religious, or political expression, was on the table of destruction, and these ignorant savages were going to destroy it.

Please, do not delude yourself. The iconoclasts did not “suddenly come to themselves;” no, they are still out there, waiting for the next opportunity of convenience to become unhinged and destroy again. But, you say, it is peaceful now; surely these people deserve dignity and should be offered the grace of justice. No, a thousand times no, and a thousand times again, NO!

As a youth, I was told a story about an American Indian and a rattlesnake. The rattlesnake had been captured by an eagle, flown high into the mountains, and was dropped. The Indian was on a quest for enlightenment and happened upon the rattlesnake who begged for help and to be carried down to the desert so he would not die. At first, the Indian said no. He was wise. He knew the snake would bite him and told the snake no. But over time, the pitiful cries of the snake could be heard, and eventually, the Indian left his quest and carried the snake down to the desert below. Always with the most solemn promises from the snake to not bite him. As the boy removed the snake from his tunic upon arrival in the desert, the snake bit him in the chest. As the boy lay dying, he asked the snake why; the snake replied, “You knew what I was when you picked me up.”

A snake does not become a toothless grass eater or honors his promises merely because he is begging for his life, and a terrorist does not become a law-abiding citizen by wishing and hoping. The iconoclast is a terrorist, and a terrorist, at heart, has thrown off all compunction, all morals, all ties to society for the personal pleasure of watching it burn. The terrorist wants to promote terror, is a political monster, and destroys for pleasure. The iconoclast attacks and seeks to overthrow traditional or popular ideas and institutions. Terrorists use violence. The iconoclast uses violence—both delight in the mayhem they cause.The imposition of belief does not separate a terrorist and an iconoclast; in fact, the desire to force beliefs upon a population brings terrorists and iconoclasts more closely aligned. The only significant difference between an iconoclast and a terrorist is the weapons of choice. To a terrorist, the weapons are paid for through third parties who want to watch the destruction unfold (LIC). The iconoclast will use whatever weapon is available. Look at the toppling of statues, were they toppled using the proper equipment or whatever was available? The iconoclast is an opportunist who takes advantage of situations, whereas the terrorist, a political monster, will create incidents, not take advantage of incidents. Not that both are not committing acts of violence or spreading terror, but the terrorist wants to replace the system with one more their liking, and the iconoclast merely wants to see things destroyed.

The terrorist is different from an iconoclast in one other major way; the terrorist does not hide in society to pull down that society. The iconoclast, as an opportunist, will wait, plot, scheme, and take advantage of every opportunity to create mayhem through the destruction of icons, symbols, images and has no problem becoming president, a teacher, a preacher, or any other job where they can act as a slow poison on a social body. One of the best and most famous iconoclasts of the 19th century were Frances Fox Piven and Richard Andrew Cloward. These two failed at being terrorists but have integrated themselves so thoroughly into American Society that they have been able to blind minds as iconoclasts and accomplish goals they could not achieve as terrorists with Weather Underground.

Frances Fox Piven’s book, “Challenging Authority” How Ordinary People Change America,” outlines the complete plan of this iconoclast, and yes, a line of congruence does exist between Mein Kampf and this book and author. All tyrants will tell you their goals before they implement them. As a freedom-loving person, I find this book to be incredibly difficult to read, and when compared with the history from the 1960s to today, I remain sickened by the success of these iconoclasts. 02 May 1966, the publication “The Nation” prints an article written by Cloward and Piven called “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty.” Don’t worry if you missed this article, “The Nation” celebrated the 50^th anniversary of this garbage. That the Cloward and Piven team were better iconoclasts than terrorists should not come as a surprise, frankly, nor should their drivel be published, but I digress.

Cloward and Piven’s iconoclastic theory was to force chaos on the body politic to keep impoverished people poor and angry, take advantage of their anger, and gain political power through riotings and disturbances. The theory also begged for a massive expansion of the welfare rolls to build an ever-larger class of permanently aggrieved people. Consider the elected officials who keep pushing for socialized medicine in America; they are iconoclasts, straight out of Cloward and Piven’s theories. Recently the media has discussed the need for a guaranteed income, paid for by the government through the forced taxation of others. This is another iconoclastic idea that finds roots in Cloward and Piven. Look at every single political talking point from criminal justice reform to immigration, and you will find an iconoclast tearing away at the icons and fabric of America for personal profit and individual enjoyment.

Lots of media ink has been spilt on homosexual rights, privileges, and changing the nuclear family and marriage laws. Would you be surprised to learn that those championing these talking points are iconoclasts taking their script from Cloward and Piven? Would the “Woke Agenda” shock you to know that those who pitch this idea are iconoclasts and take their cues from Cloward and Piven’s theories and writings? What about increasing the minimum wage; would you be interested in knowing that even a minimum wage is iconoclastic? Forget about those pitching for an increased minimum wage to $15 an hour being iconoclastic. The mere philosophy of having a minimum wage is iconoclastic and anathema to American history and the US Constitution.

Iconoclasts are a secret society, but the secret is open and in full view. The confusion these people generate helps them gain power, provides the fodder for their abhorrent behavior, and promotes them higher in power. Why is the government so intransigent; the iconoclasts acting as “good bureaucrats” make the government intransigent and are held in control by other iconoclasts. The iconoclasts tear down and destroy using plasticized terms like empathy, democracy, helping, support, dignity, and more. Criminal justice reform punishes the victims of crime. Welfare reform further strips those receiving welfare benefits of pride, honor, and the satisfaction that work provides, ever-widening the gulf between those who need and cannot obtain and those who receive welfare benefits. Immigration reform is labeled as dignity, but in reality is nothing more than spitting in the eye of those who followed the rules, sacrificed, and acted appropriately. The iconoclast always looks to how they can destroy something good and leave a void or replace it with something that perpetuates the further destruction of a society.

In a recent case, Pete Buttigieg took the money sent by Congress for roads and bridges, and designed plans to spend it on climate change and make roads less racist. A road cannot be racist, but those in control are iconoclasts, and if they can further frustrate the road and bridges problem, they can sit back and watch the daily commute of millions of people and laugh hysterically. The iconoclasts imposing this madness are called “innovators,” “innovation leaders,” and “forward-thinkers.” All words plasticized to erode further and eventually destroy the American government, trust in government, and continue the eating away of the social glue holding America together. Using laws to punish the innocent, protect the guilty, and make good and right evil, while evil is heralded as proper and transformative.

Iconoclasts did that, and we, the American people, need to know our enemy. We need to understand what we are seeing. You are not racist, homophobic, regressive, or any number of other names for asking questions or dissenting to the actions the iconoclasts are imposing. You need to know who and what the enemy is and does to thwart the enemy properly. It is good to stand for truth, justice, and the American way! It is expected that the iconoclasts and terrorists in our Constitutional Republic would want to damage and destroy. Not acceptable, but expected, because a Constitutional Republic, to ensure freedom for all, does not have natural freedom crushing antibodies in the system to rid the body politic of these types of people.

Would you like some weapons in your arsenal to fight iconoclasts; ask for proof. Remember, research does not provide proof of anything. Looking at the fruits of the ideas and asking about the evidence that what they are proposing is beneficial. For example, has the minimum wage been helpful; no, the minimum wage has not been beneficial. People made more money, but the government increased inflation, borrowed more money, and charged more money for taxes, increasing the cost of living and then increasing the minimum wage to “assist the poor.” Socialized medicine has this practice borne positive or negative results; the answer is resoundingly negative, and implementation of socialized medicine destroys too much! Immigration reform has any immigration reform improved the plight of Americans ever; again, a resoundingly negative response occurs. Crime went up, illegal immigration went up, social ills went up, moral decline, welfare rolls increased substantially, and much more happened.

Iconoclasts can only be fought when we:

What will you learn today that improves your tomorrow? How will you use this information? Does America die on your watch from the thousands of cuts the iconoclasts have made? Today, let us resolve that America does not die on our watch. No matter the difficulties, we must fight the iconoclasts!

What do we DO? – I have an Answer – Several, in fact!

Dont Tread On Me Regularly, after I write an article, I am asked, “What is a person to do?” The question is generally followed by the following, “The enemies are vast, the criminals are legion, the forces entrenched, and the allies are too few in number to matter.” As Rogers and Hammerstein would relate, I am not a “Cockeyed Optimist;” however, please allow me to relate and offer some suggestions.

Earlier this past week, I was in Walmart after an ER visit, never pleasant. What was worse about this visit was that some toddler was being teased mercilessly by an older child to scream hysterically. At this point in my day, my cherub-like demeanor is on life-support, and I am crying, “For the love of mud and money, make it stop. Parents end the torture, stop this child screaming!” The parents were immune to the screams, the public refused to intervene, the store refused to manage the parents, and I was left to suffer, along with every other person, to the sounds of this child screaming.

Foghorn Leghorn - Medication I wandered from the pharmacy to other parts of the store, looking for anywhere I could hide to escape the onslaught of this child’s screams and could find no place safe from the sounds and attacks on my nerves. I went looking for this child to offer gold, silver, food, anything to silence this detestable decibel desecration and end the onslaught. That is when I discovered how uncaring and useless the parents were in controlling their children and realized the minority could not be bribed into obedience.

In the agony of this experience, but worse after several days of recollection, I have learned some valuable lessons.

1. 1. The child screaming is not the majority of children. Worse, the children are not the majority of people in the population. The ones screaming are such a small percentage that with minimal adults banding together, caring, and taking action, the child and the weak-kneed adults could easily be overpowered and sanity restored.
  2. While some suffering is good for the soul, other suffering requires action, commitment, and dedication to principles of freedom to overcome.
  3. How do you tell the difference – There is NO difference! There is no distinction between one type of suffering or another. All suffering can be fought against and won if the individual has strong enough intestinal fortitude and can gather enough like-minded people willing to care and act!

Sharing is Caring How do I know this is correct? I talked to people; I observed people suffering under the hellacious onslaught of this toddler screaming, these parents’ indifference, and understood a common principle for Republican Societies, gather enough like-minded people dedicated to a common cause, and blessed change can occur. I kept asking, why didn’t the parents demand the older child stop teasing, the younger, and can only surmise they desired this public spectacle for personal gain, attention, and because they like sharing the power they have over society when their children misbehave.

Angry Wet Chicken It is common knowledge George Soros has invested a LOT of money into the criminal justice system, especially into city district attorneys, to win criminal justice and abuse victims. If George Soros is akin to the parents, and his ilk are those paying for the toddlers and older children to tease for personal gain when the toddler screams. We have a pattern and reasoning for the toddlers raising rhubarbs in the Walmart societies called “America.”

Having identified the parents, who are the toddlers screaming and throwing a fit? May I suggest we look to the evening news for characters screaming. Paid actors who raise their cackles at the drop of dimes annoy the populace every time they open their mouths. ANTIFA, BLM, LGBTQ+ communities, Communists, Leftists, Extremists on both sides of the political spectrum, Labor Unions, AOC and her band of merry idiots in the US House of Representatives, Pelosi, Biden and his bucolic band of bumblers, other politicians, and those who consider themselves of the “political class,” “peaceful protestors” which are nothing but terrorists burning cities and towns across America, and so many more. Never forget, some of the worst people screaming are those reporting the screamers themselves, the corporate media!

Angry Grizzly Bear Who is the older child relentlessly teasing, on the urging and the silent approval of the parents, the toddler? Would it surprise anyone if the first and most potent teaser are the bureaucrats who refuse to be governed and scrutinized? How can we know this is a fact; how did “peaceful protestors” burn down a police station? How did police officer defunding grow into such a cohesive movement in such a short time? How did funding move so quickly from city to city across America, and delivery of bricks and other riot supplies mysteriously appear in riot zones, without anyone noticing? The bureaucrats across this nation are up to their collective eyeballs in protecting their power from the citizens from catching wise of their crimes. Why do you think so much money was pumped into the races of those who count ballots!

Who else is teasing the toddlers? Big tech is playing a supporting role. Big pharmaceutical is playing a supporting role. Both receive considerable windfalls in investment support, and the evidence can be found when you play simple games of “Follow the money.” Corporate media in 2020 was caught on camera teasing the toddler and participating as a toddler in the screaming, and nothing was done to punish the press. Hollywood, many of the most lurid and detestable of Hollywood, are paying considerable sums to practice low-intensity conflict (LIC) from the comfort of their living room for personal gain and private glee.

Realization

How big is the population of toddlers? Tiny, all but insignificant. Want to know a secret; like all terrorist organizations and toddlers around the world, they know how small they are, how insignificant they are, and they know their only weapon is NOISE! Why are the terrible two’s and three’s called “Terrible,” because the child has learned how small they are and have realized they can affect the world through obnoxious NOISES! Gaining attention through NOISE. Being discovered, having fun, getting rewards, all this and more through NOISE! What do responsible parents do to correct behavior in toddlers to make the “terrible” two’s and three’s less terrible, behavior modification! The Duty of Americans

What is the first step? The responsible parent stops the older child from teasing the toddler! Usually through behavior modification of the older child! If the older child persists, the behavior modification increases until that child learns teasing will NOT be tolerated! At the same time, the responsible parent is also correcting the noise the toddler is making and correcting the child to use words or signs until communication skills catch up with mental abilities, making clear that abject NOISE is NOT tolerated – also increasing behavior modification until the lesson is learned and NOISE is stopped!

Suggestions

1. 1. Band together. I cannot emphasize this enough! Like-minded people built America, and until like-minded people reband to rebuild, nothing is going to change!
  2. See something, say something!
  3. Ridicule is a powerful tool! Laugh at the stupidity and the inanity of those who would abuse our tolerance.
  4. Record the toddlers acting the fool. Post those recordings. Share the recordings with others. Mock, ridicule, and publicly shame! Public shame is not harmful, nor is it discriminatory. Until the toddlers learn to use logic and words, they deserve to be mocked, scorned, and humiliated!
  5. Every time the toddler’s teasers are discovered, post, share, like, and ridicule!
  6. Take decisive ACTION! – The toddlers gain power when action is not taken. Simple lesson parents learn. Retake the power from the toddlers, and this also is not discriminatory. Society belongs to those willing to sacrifice for it, and the toddler will not sacrifice; thus, the toddler has no place in society.
  7. The toddler’s good behavior cannot be purchased with gifts, bribes, shiny baubles, and other transitory items. The toddler is appetite incarnate; the only thing that works to curb a toddler’s appetite is to teach behavior modification! Behavior modification is NOT discrimination!
  8. Understand LIC. Know LIC. Fight using the principles of LIC. It cannot be understated; this is war, LIC is WAR! The toddlers have waged war, and right now, they think they are winning because they are not finding any opposition. If you need a refresher on LIC, check out the links, read up, and learn!

Final Comments and Thoughts

It does not matter if the entire house is full of toddlers and mischievous boys hell-bent on teasing the toddlers into an army of NOISE bombs! The adults are always in charge, always outnumbering the toddlers, and always in command! Use this knowledge to strategize, organize, think, layout tactics, and begin today to out-think, outsmart, and outmaneuver the teasing older children to reduce the toddler noise! You and I, we outnumber these pestilential reprobates, and the rule of law IS sufficient to the task of curbing this obnoxious behavior. We need to begin to show up in strength, marshaled for war, and ready to curb the toddlers! Join me!

Speaker Pelosi – Enough is ENOUGH!

Bird of Prey There comes the point where every person reaches their penultimate point. They can take no more, stand no more, and allow no more abuses to be heaped upon them by others. On 30 August 2021, when Speaker Pelosi (D), Speaker of the US House of Representatives, refused to show up, refused to recognize, and refused to participate in a moment of silence for the 13 service members lost in Afghanistan, my moment arrived. I am thoroughly done, and I am here to describe what that means!

I will not edit my diet to fit a “woke culture!”

Commit I love fried chicken, watermelon, BBQ ribs, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on white bread. I have been eating this way my entire life; I will not change just because some dweeb is projecting their racism onto food. Food cannot and should never be labeled as “racist.” I love grits and fried eggs, with cheese and gravy, or biscuits and hashbrowns. I am a huge fan of fried okra and pork. I enjoy a bowl of hominy and honey with a bit of butter and cornbread. Bring on the food, leave the politics on the porch!

I will not disrespect every police officer just because some person gets shot.

Is there the potential possibility that a bad police officer could have slipped in and will abuse their power? Absolutely, and it has been my displeasure to have met a couple of these abusive and detestable bastards in my time. I call them out, just like I call out those who abuse their position in any other profession. But, I am done with seeing every police officer branded as bad when a precinct somewhere else in the world makes a dumb call, makes a poor decision, or is Monday-Morning-Quarterbacked by a bunch of bureaucrats who never wore a badge. I have met too many great and good police officers to see all of them slandered by the media and the politicians for the statistical anomalies that come with a demanding job and the political misfeasance that is part of the risks in their profession. I will add another piece of important information to this list, fail to listen to a police officer and get shot; you have no sympathy from me, EVER! A police officer demands to see your hands and has reason to believe their life is in danger; you need to listen and obey first, talk and spout stupidity later. Acting on a police officer’s demands in executing their duties is called being a responsible citizen, the first job a person has to law and order in society. As a citizen, you must listen to authority, even if you do not like that authority or disagree with that authority. Hence, it is not the police officer’s fault if you refuse to do as instructed and get shot in the process.

Rioters, Looters, Anarchists – You Are Terrorists, and I will treat you as such!

LIC There is no such thing as a violent protest. You are either protesting (peacefully) after having obtained the proper permits and in accordance with the laws, or you are terrorists hell-bent on destroying society. There is no middle ground, and I refuse to bend on this issue, regardless of the media’s claims! When you begin looting, burning, acting violently, this is the time to call in the military. The rules of engagement include returning violence equal to or greater than the violence shown to restore law and order: no police, military response, and open fire. Law and order is the police’s job. Terrorism is the military’s job, and those who survive receive a terrorist trial in a military tribunal.

Consent of the Governed. Rejected!

America is a Constitutional Republic (if we can keep it). Speaker Pelosi, you have breached public peace and no longer deserve my consent to hold your title and office as Speaker of the US House of Representatives. More to the point, until you are removed from office and held accountable for treason and other crimes, you are held in contempt and do not deserve any title. Nancy, go home! My consent to be governed has been withdrawn! Take your president, the fraudulent and senile Joey and Jill, the useless Kamala, and your good buddy in the Senate Patty with you. Fly commercial; I refuse you the right to use my taxpayer-funded transportation!

Rights, freedoms, liberties all come with obligations and responsibilities!

Your “right to free speech” comes with moral obligations, responsibilities, and you are accountable for what you say. The Supreme Court has made this clear in many a case law, and it remains incumbent upon the citizenry and the politicians to learn this lesson. Screaming nonsense is not allowed, and a “college safe place” will not protect you from a genuine ass-whooping when behavior correction is needed. Nancy, your vile and deprecating speech borders on treasonous and criminal as you have promoted violence on your political enemies, frankly that you have escaped the law is atrocious and needs rectification! That you are third in line to become president means you are held to a higher standard, and that you have failed to live to that standard reflects poorly upon yourself, your party, and this country! Well, as a citizen of this country, I reject you! The Duty of Americans

I reject the “Gang of Five” who have followed maliciously in your footsteps and prospered under your pernicious tutelage. You have poisoned enough minds and hearts during your Congressional career, and it is time for you to be held accountable for your crimes, audacity, and reprehensive behavior! You have dodged the obligations and responsibilities of your office long enough. Since you have gerrymandered your congressional district to guarantee re-election ad nauseam ad infinitum, it is time the citizens outside your community hold you accountable in front of a judge and jury.

Knowledge Check! Nancy, you sent the military to Afghanistan. You continued to send the military to Afghanistan as political decisions. You hold the blood of the slain, the sweat of the military sacrifice, and the tears of the families, and you cannot ever shake this responsibility! For you to act in such a deplorable manner is cause for removal and public shaming, at a minimum. But with your ego and arrogance, simple public shaming will not teach the lesson you need to learn. Thus, Nancy, I hope to be there in person when a judge hands down a sentence of guilty, and pronounces your punishment of community service in distinctive clothing, wearing a sandwich board declaring your crimes, and watch you pull weeds on a chain gang, scrubbing graffiti, and picking trash. Then, maybe, will the enormity of your crimes come home to you!

Revisiting No Neutrality – Today is a Day of Choosing, Tomorrow a Day of Action!

On 01 July 2021, I first wrote an article regarding how there are no more safe paths, no more neutral zones, no more areas of peace to rest upon. After the last 15-days, the world has witnessed this reality, and I revisit this topic to issue a plea. Today, make a choice. Tomorrow go to work implementing that choice.

In mentioning the following, I am not discussing religion but social history. The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints holds sacred “The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of JESUS CHRIST” as holy scripture. The book contains a record of a civilization ruled by kings; then, the king proposes a society ruled by judges where their own conscience and written laws govern every person. Both systems of government worked well. The reign of the judges ends in chaos when the chief judge is murdered, and the people break up into separate tribes. That is a couple of hundred years of history boiled into a few brief words; however, the pattern holds true for several other societies not recorded in books considered holy scripture. I find the following fascinating as a template for the current time the world finds itself facing.

Why do societies fail?

Most societies fail because leaders have violated the core fundamental principles those societies were built upon. The people have lost the way to hold the leaders accountable to the fundamental principles that originally built the society. In modern societies, these principles are codified laws from founding national documents, and holding the leaders accountable would involve lawyers and judges, as well as time and other leaders committed to holding together the system to ensure those who broke the system are held liable and accountable before the law, and not a mob.

Pick an empire, Rome, Greece, Israel, Egypt, Nephite, etc., all of them suffer the same fate as they crested the height of their time and slid into failure and ruin. The leaders failed the people. The government decided they did not have to perform their only job, to look out for the safety and security of the people, and the people died, and the government fell into ruin. What have we witnessed across the globe, governments not listening to their people, refusing their people, and denying rights and liberties to their people in the name of personal power, wealth, and highly temporary fame.

Australia and New Zealand, the COVID measures are so beyond the pale horrific, and totalitarian that the government is doing more harm than the disease the government proclaims to be fighting. China has blatantly broken the treaty with Hong Kong. Nobody outside of Hong Kong appears to care enough to issue strong demands, let alone support Hong Kong’s citizenry in reclaiming that which is their right by treaty. North Korea continues to vacillate and sway to whatever music China plays in the hopes of catching scraps, as their people suffer and die from malnutrition, disease, and neglect.

Head into the Middle East, and that powder keg is going to blow again real soon. Terrorists in Afghanistan never stay in Afghanistan, and now with a pipeline to China, money, and weapons from America, and new ways and means to launder money, how soon before the Middle East becomes a free-fire zone, the European mainland becomes a terrorist free-for-all shootout to rival America’s Wild West, and Africa descends into more tyranny and villainy?

Where are the leaders of government? Where are the government representatives? Our globe has changed since 2000; the hoped-for peace from the end of the last century has turned into a blood bath of terror on a global scale fed by low-intensity conflict (LIC). Just as major international conflicts dominated the previous century, this century is being dominated by small brushfire LIC conflicts. Our modes of war must change, our governments must adapt, our societies must change, and we are 20+ years into the new century. The government still thinks this is 1995, money is free, music is 1980s good, and the future is bright and happy!

The Decisions for Today

What do you want most? What government is most important to you? Is your government system sufficiently powerful enough a motivator to propel you to action to save it and pass it along to the next generation? America has had leaders who have been quoted as saying something to the effect of, “The blood of current generations must renew the tree of liberty to remain free.” What will you sacrifice for liberty today, for your children to experience freedom tomorrow?

LIC is here to stay. LIC will be the “gentlemen’s war” of this century. Where the wealthy pool resources and purchase mayhem and destruction for their pleasure. If society does not change, all representative governments will be lost in the turmoil created by these “children having fun.” Worse, those little fracases could become full-blown international conflicts with nuclear weapons very easily — all based on the WWI model of human ineptitude and our human weakness for killing ourselves.

The decisions are yours, and yours alone to make. Collectively, your choices will move you into one of two groups, those fighting for representative government and those opposed to representative government. Truthfully, do not expect to experience peace; there are no safe paths, no routes through tulips and rainbows on gossamer wings of spun sugar plums. The enemy is awake; the enemy has prepared a legion of useful idiots and ivory potentates to give orders.

But, the decisions must be made, and the sooner the decision is made and communicated, the easier life becomes, for then you know your purpose!

The Actions for Tomorrow

Act with haste, prepare with confidence, and move with speed. Get loud! Stand like a rock! I was told standing is not an activity. The person proclaiming that has never stood still and faced down an enemy, or they would know just how arduous standing can be! Seek learning through study, discussion, questions, and faith. Seeking learning through faith means that you will actively believe until you can prove otherwise, even if it means waiting patiently for a while to learn more.

I learned this principle in the US Army. I fully did not expect to learn this lesson, but learn it I did. I believed in the chain of command. Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training did nothing to dissuade that the chain of command needed to be accepted, supported, and obeyed unquestioningly. Then I got to my first duty station and began learning my role in the chain of command as an active participant. First, I refused to believe, then I believed in faith, then I tested and learned, then I acted above and beyond my rank and got swatted down for breaking the chain of command. Always the same counsel, you are a great soldier/sailor, but you make decisions above your paygrade, and this rubs higher ranking people wrong. My response, how am I responsible for the choices and consequences of those higher in rank choosing to be offended?

Everyone is now in the same boat; the chains of command cannot be trusted. We must each think and act for ourselves for the betterment and security of our country, families, homes, freedoms, and the next generation. We must each choose to throw off the shackles of the past, learn the lessons of history not taught in school, and then act to save the best in our societies before the wolves of terrorism steal everything. We each must become the sheepdogs of war!

Libya, and Afghanistan – Days American Governance Died!

Question I prefer not to quote radical far right, far left, or emotionally driven people. However, Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity have made similar comments over the past 10-days that have resonated with me: any government’s purpose is to look after their people. There is no higher duty! In Afghanistan, Britain and France have sent special forces, heavily armed convoys, rescued their citizens and closed their embassies in good order. America created a middle-of-the-night Charlie-Foxtrot for the world to handle, then left her citizens to barter with their lives. Representing cowardice and treason most vile before an enemy most intolerant!

While the actions of the American Government in Afghanistan and the president specifically are deplorable and detestable from a military perspective and a government management perspective, words cease to describe the treasonous actions of abandoning American Citizens’ passports and visa holders to face an enemy unarmed! How can any government claim they represent anyone if they first do not support their citizens; they cannot. Thus, what are they doing in power or calling themselves a government? I do not like it, but as a soldier, then as a sailor, I took the pay, I took the risks, I knew the score; soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, we live on the tip of the spear, and sometimes we lose our lives, and the political aspects make no sense. It leaves people angry and bitter, but we knew the score and took the risks. The civilians did not and were promised protection from the government. Where is the government? Plato 2

Libya

From time immemorial, the death of an ambassador is considered a direct challenge to a host country and an overt act of war. Spies, military members, lower-level representatives are like pawns on a chessboard; sometimes, they die in the back and forth of political negotiations. But, ambassadors, legally recognized representatives are sacrosanct; their safety is secured and assured by the host country through legal and binding treaties, their family’s safety and security are inviolate. The loss of an ambassador is a BIG FREAKING DEAL!

11 September 2012, while calling, pleading, begging for military help not 60-minutes away, available and ready, an ambassador was killed. American citizens were terrorized, killed, wounded, and the president slept. The Commander in Chief, the head representative of the American Government, was as distant from Libya as if he were on the moon. His Secretary of State remains up to her neck in the Libyan scandal and death of an Ambassador, a direct employee, and several other direct employees. The blood of American citizens stands as a bright testimony on the sands of Libya as if painted on a white sheet and hung from the White House door.

From 1600 local time in Washington DC, the CIA, State Department, and the White House watched from drone footage, in real-time, as the Ambassador died and Americans bled out, refusing to send aid. They were actively refusing multiple requests from the embassy, countermanding written operational orders to go in support of the embassy, and allowing people to die. Let this sink in for a moment; the Ambassador is being murdered, his bosses are watching it live and in color, and all relief and help is being actively refused and denied while it could have helped. Long have I wept over this incident, but those tears are from frustration and anger for the loss of life and the senseless stupidity of the leaders in Washington; yet, was it stupidity or a design to creatively murder people and destroy evidence of crimes?

11 September 2012, the night Ambassador Stevens died, so too did the American Government. So to did the trust, honor, integrity, faith, and courage of the American people. Craven government leaders were missing; they have dodged accountability, evaded responsibility, and abused American Justice for personal gain and pajama parties. Here, I thought the American government could sink no further.

Afghanistan

After promising a smooth, transparent, and well-laid transition plan out of Afghanistan to our allies at the G-7 meeting, the US President did a quick U-turn and abruptly removed American troops like a thief trying to flee a bank robbery, producing a hurried, fearful looking and fatal retreat full of confusion, stupidity, and betrayal. Dr. Mark Skidmore has been tracking $21 Trillion in missing Pentagon money for over a decade now. Dr. Mark Skidmore republished a Julian Assange quote from 2011 that has me asking questions; I pass it along for your consideration:

“The goal is to use Afghanistan to wash money out of the tax bases of the US and Europe through Afghanistan and back into the hands of a transnational security elite. The goal is an endless war, not a successful war.”

It is being hypothesized that with a new strategy for hiding money, the Department of Defense no longer needs to be used to launder money out of America. The security apparatuses of the United States can be employed for this operating better, and with fewer questions, long-term. The intelligence community knows how to keep secrets better. Hence, war and the Department of Defense are no longer needed; thus, closing the war in Afghanistan as quickly as possible was a prerequisite to moving on for the liberal and global banking elite. Whether correct or not, I do not claim; I do claim there is a connection between large money interests and Afghanistan. I do claim that China’s interest in Afghanistan will grow as Afghanistan offers China illicit drugs, useful idiots for long-term LIC, and a perfect place for laundering money. When a major nation launders money for other major nations is it still money laundering?

What Can Be Concluded?

Knowledge Check! While Afghanistan and Saigon have been compared, I repeat, only for emphasis. Afghanistan makes Saigon look like a tip-toe through tulips on gossamer wings of spun sugar plum spice. Both are catastrophes that represent politicians making policies they should be utterly ashamed of! Both represent days when America broke her promise, people died, countries were abandoned, and the world took a hit for representative government. Worse, both incidents spun off years of pain, sorrow, and destitution for millions, and those responsible need held accountable for their despicable behavior. I hope they live long and healthy lives to appreciate the breadth and depth of their disastrous decisions fully!

Americans are in danger right now; I call upon the US Military to honor the UCMJ by refusing the orders to stand by and watch. Get out, gather the Americans, bring them into safety, and honor your promise to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic! The US President has hung the Americans in Afghanistan out to dry. Will you allow them to die?

To our allies, but more importantly to our enemies, America is not our government! We might be saddled by this deleterious administration through fraud and deception, we might have too many weak-kneed, yellow-bellied, no-spine bureaucrats in positions of power, but they do NOT represent AMERICA! You will find AMERICA is a whole lot different than what you see surrendering on TV. Do not test us, especially we, the sheepdogs of war!

Quoting from President Roosevelt, “We, too, born to freedom, and believing in freedom, are willing to fight to maintain freedom. We, and all others who believe as deeply as we do, would rather die on our feet than live [life] on our knees.”

No Neutrality – There are No More Safe Paths

M*A*S*H 4077^th was a TV show, and in my humble opinion, one of the best TV shows ever. Running from 1972-1983, M*A*S*H featured the Korean War/Conflict, a mobile Army surgical hospital, and some of the funniest stories I have ever laughed at. The central character was Hawkeye Pierce, who held a no-neutral zone policy where death was concerned. Not that death did not arrive occasionally, but that as a surgeon on the front line between life and death, he refused to be mediocre, refused second place, and refused, utterly, to quit as long as there was any chance that his skills could save a life.

In the Inheritance series of books, Christopher Paolini uses the line, “The world is round, and the sky is empty. There are no more safe paths.” Another character who accepted no compromise refused a neutral stand, even in the face of great personal injury and sacrifice, and refused to allow suffering if he could prevent it using his skills. I know both are works of fiction, but the lesson and principle remain true: there are no neutral zones and no more safe paths.

The Korean War/Conflict/Police Action ended in a demilitarized zone (DMZ) and a treaty. Neither side victorious, neither side a loser, and neither side were satisfied. Worse, ending the conflict in a compact and a DMZ left future generations the problems that initially caused the war to begin; thus, allowing China to have a puppet state to engage in LIC. LIC is driven by ideological passion, is supported by a person, government, nation, business, etc., with monetary means from a place of security, and attacks innocent people mercilessly. LIC is guerilla warfare like nothing practiced in the jungles of Vietnam.

No Neutrality

To be brutally honest, there was never any neutral zone anywhere in the world after the Korean conflict. The DMZ has been regularly tunneled under, troops have crossed to cause terror, and the war still rages across the Korean Peninsula. Worse, after Vietnam, the world saw the attempted domination by the United Nations, which has failed gloriously. Then “superpowers” were selected, the G-7, was tried, NATO, and so many other globe-spanning attempts to bring a neutral zone into existence, where no neutrality is possible. Governments have interests, these interests shift, and in the shifting, enemies are made, and allies are won.

In nature, there is no neutrality. Never has been; never will be. A flower cannot decide one day not to bloom or delay blooming, for then it dies. The same is true of animals, show me a neutral animal, and I will show you the predator who hunts that animal. Why the human race thinks there can be neutrals is beyond my kin. For humans must also answer to the laws and rules of nature, there is no neutral zone. Nowhere on the planet can you find a gray spot where darkness and light do not conflict. The place is either light or dark, hot or cold, dry or wet, with no middle ground, safe spot, or protected zone. Go to the Jungles of Vietnam and find a location where the air is not humid, the temperature is not hot, and the jungle is friendly, kind, and supportive of all creatures, without regard for predator and prey; and I will sell you a bridge to the moon, made by rainbows and unaffected by gravity.

Some have made the erroneous claim that America was a neutral party in WWI. Except, before we joined the war, we sold supplies to both sides. That is not neutral, that is not informed neutrality, and it is not ethical or moral. Legal, but many times legal is not moral or ethical. Worse, we made the same decision in WWII. Even worse, we have compounded the idiocy of neutrality through our actions since 2000 in the United Nations.

There are no more safe paths.

The United Nations was a failed idea from the beginning and remains a bad decision to this day! Worse, the bullish ignorance of the rules of nature, coupled with the failure of the Rule of Law, has left many a representative government across the world wondering who their allies are. If a nation wonders who its allies are, it absolutely knows who the enemy is, but too often, the line between enemy and ally is murky and distorted. With trade, global banks, globe-spanning businesses, and government interests constantly shifting, charting a course through these environments for a country is not an easy job. However, the problem is not so much outside one’s borders as inside one’s borders.

Sure, India and China, and Pakistan have an active border problem, egged on by China, and influenced by social media. Sure, the world still has tin-pot dictators and religious fanatics willing to cause mayhem and trouble at the slightest opportunity. But those claiming social justice, working for equality, and hiding behind laws while committing acts of violence, are more pressing problems.

Truth be told, even in Eragon and M*A*S*H, there were never any “safe paths.” The main characters had to realize this truth before they could grow mentally sufficient to overcome their dilemmas. The same principle holds for every person in the world; we must realize there is no such thing as neutral zones, safe spaces, and safe paths. We must individually choose a side, know why we chose that side, and then defend our choice from continued attacks. LIC is war, and this war will only worsen until bigger weapons and nations fight against nations and begin actively throwing ammunition at each other.

Which side do you choose?

I stand for the Constitutional Republic of the United States of America. For all her faults, and they are legion, this Constitutional Republic remains the world’s best answer to the problems we face collectively. I swore the oath; I took the pay; I know what and who I stand for. Do you?

Please note, I do not ask this question lightly. In making that choice, I am automatically an enemy to every social justice envious person inside America’s borders. Including at least three US Presidents, the current House and Senate Majority leaders, and legions of others who drink the Kool-Aid and worship at the church of American Hate. Yet, I willingly and ably make that choice, support my choice, and can defend that choice easily. I have learned a few things, and I will list them for your consideration, strengthen you in your choices, and hopefully help raise awareness of the dangerous times we live in right now.

1. 1. Educate yourself. I repeat myself only for emphasis, K-12 education has failed you, your children, and your parents from at least 1900. This was done intentionally to rob you of your liberty, freedom, and ability to choose. You must choose to begin educating yourself. Read books, ask questions, use search engines to discover sources and materials. After learning something new, teach it, that you may then learn it more perfectly.
  2. Evaluate your fortifications. Your home is your first line of defense, and the best defense is a solid offense. What is coming into your home that is anathema to your choices and breaks your defenses? Strengthening your defenses includes your family, and the axiom remains true, your family is only as strong as your weakest link! Thus, build your family. Build an environment where standards can be high, the conversation does not become violence, and the free exchange of ideas is the ultimate power. Persuasion sometimes doesn’t need words, just actions repeated, exemplifying the principles you cherish and will defend, after building your family and home fortifications, aid in building your community, then state, then nation.
  3. Building fortifications is not enough! Once built, fortifications need to be maintained. See step 1; we must continue to educate ourselves, ask questions, demand answers, and search out through the best resources new knowledge to discuss and use to build your home, community, state, and nation.
  4. Using your home, practice! Practice discussing ideas, having wonderful discussions, and using the tools available to explore and build ideas into standards and principles worthy of defense. Invite people who will uphold the standards into your home, especially if they disagree with you. I know of no better house guest than a person who will agree to disagree, who around a table of food will have an in-depth conversation and discussion.
  5. Boldness, not overbearance. I cannot stress this enough. I am not perfect at being bold but not overbearing, but I keep learning. Boldness is standing and defending your principles without resorting to raised voices, theatrical banging on tables and podiums, and without any type of force. Never forget the following from Neal A. Maxwell, “discouragement is not the absence of adequacy but the absence of courage” [emphasis in original].

Seek opportunities to practice standing for that which you know is right and will defend. The US Army’s official motto is, “This we’ll defend!” What will you defend? Why will you defend it? Who are you defending it against? When you know these answers, then the US Army’s motto becomes your personal motto, your brand, and your courage to defend it will increase!

NO MORE BS: Clearing up the confusion! – Understanding the Government of America

Representative Deb Haaland (D) sent out an email while a US House of Representatives member claimed America is a “Constitutional Democracy.” I will endeavor to correct this confusion using simple terms; for Representative Haaland’s benefit, please allow me to elaborate. Along the way, let us explore a few connected topics, including the plasticization of words and how that breeds tyranny.

A Republic finds its history lodged in the writings of Plato, who called a republic “possessing the structure and composition of the ideal state.” James Madison provides America with the only definition needed for America to be a republic, “We may define a republic to be … a government which derives all its powers directly or indirectly from the great body of the people; and is administered by persons holding their offices during pleasure, for a limited period, or during good behaviour [Emphasis added].” A republic is a government system where the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them. Finally, a republic is recognized by the head of the government, not being a monarch or other hereditary head of state.

America has a Constitution that leaves all the power of the government in the hands of its legal citizens. Legal citizens are not impostor aliens or terrorists captured on a battlefield; thus, US Constitutional Rights do not apply or cover these entities. A Republic is formed around the principle that through property ownership, freedom is generated. A Republic requires time, majorities that clearly surpass a simple majority, and when personal property is threatened or removed from individual citizens, that Republic slips into a democracy. A Democracy cannot climb into being a Republic, but the Republic can be reduced to a democracy.

Democracy is associated with the “rule by the people,” or a simple majority wins. The associations of democracy have become more twisted since the mid-1930s. Therein lies the problem, democracies have existed under the feudal system of government, the communists have tried to instill democratic changes, and dictators like Maduro in Venezuela have employed democracy for personal enrichment and citizen enslavement. Democracy, other than being dangerous, is the belief that simple majority rules for everyone. Winston Churchill is correct, “No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.” The reason democracy is dangerous is the belief that people control the rule when they have nothing to do with the ruling. The “Rule of Law does not bind rulers of a democracy”; they are only restricted by statistics reported in opinion polls, which Mark Twain aptly called “Damned lies.”

Consider the United Kingdom, which is a “Democratic Polyarchy” as they have a hereditary monarch ruler, and a democratic parliament; when the people demanded an exit from the European Union, the supposedly democratic parliament stymied and thwarted the people’s will to keep the United Kingdom in the European Union. Venezuela is a democracy where the constitution was destroyed for personal power. The country was bankrupted for the enrichment of the few, and the people are now left starving, wondering where their country went.

America’s founders were interested in creating a representative democracy under a republican form of government to protect the property rights of individuals that generate the most freedom for the most people. Under a republican form of government, everyone is first bound by the rule of law; in America’s case, the code we are all united under is the US Constitution. Even the government must answer to the lowest of citizens. Important to note, a Republican form of government does not mean that the Political Party “Republicans” are the party to rule exclusively. The plasticization of words and terms continues to create confusion where politics is concerned.

America was never expected to be a direct democracy, where Representative Haaland (D) is basing her erroneous statement regarding America being a “Constitutional Democracy.” Here is where the fallacy resides, a constitutional democracy would only require a simple majority to enact new clauses in the constitution. America’s Constitution requires ¾’s of the individual US States to ratify a Constitutional Amendment after the Constitutional Amendment has won supermajorities in the US House of Representatives and the Senate. Thus, any fourth-grade student who has passed American history can tell how and why America is NOT a “Constitutional Democracy,” as stated by Representative Haaland. “Constitutional Democracy” is fallacious, deceiving, and meant to create confusion in the populace. Since Representative Haaland (D) and Senator Udall (D) continue to disregard their constituents, I expect more but have come to realize they will not adhere to providing a higher level of respect for the offices they individually hold, representing their constituents across the political spectrum.

Property – It’s Not What you Think!

Since we discuss the rule of law, republics, and other related topics, let us dig a little into an item that is killing America and her freedom, the loss of private property. Charles Reich, an American legal and social scholar as well as an author who was a Professor at Yale Law School, writes a paper every American citizen needs to read and be concerned over, this paper is referenced below, and the link is active.

Starting in the 1930s, during the “Great Depression,” changes were made to America’s methods of governance by the President, a willing media, and sycophants in the Senate and House. Establishing the Federal and State Government’s ability to rule by largess; picking winners and losers based upon obeisance to a bureaucrat’s whims, wishes, and will. Reich lays out this history, walks the reader through the laws, and makes the case that because of democratic rule America’s Republic has been reduced to a feudal system where the government decides who gets the largess and who does not. With the Federal and State Governments making these decisions, businesses do not compete fairly upon their own merits but upon how much taxpayer money they can bamboozle from Uncle Sam. Unfortunately, the entire system hinges upon reducing private property ownership and the freedoms private property allow to feed the ever-hungry beast of Government consumption.

A perfect example is found in K-12 Schools. When a school insists they need more money from the taxpayer, they blame poverty and race as to why their students cannot learn unless more money is poured into a failing school to purchase a “magic bullet,” e.g., an expensive new toy, technology, or program—providing three lies in one, and excusing designed incompetence for the failure of students who the teachers have abused. Race governing ability is the first lie. Poverty dictating intellect forms the second lie. More money needed in K-12 Education is the third lie. The designed incompetence that allows or encourages a teacher to pass a student that does not meet the standards of learning is an abuse of students, not a problem of funding, and not a problem of the teacher, but a lack of parental involvement and student engagement.

Here is government largess in action; if the school board does not adhere to the lies of race and poverty affecting intellectual ability, that school does not get more money. Repeatedly, we see these lies vociferously declared in the media that poverty and race are holding a school/student back, and the government needs to spend more money. In reality, leadership in the school, reinstating the teacher’s authority, and respect is required for those schools, not more government largess. Indeed not another program or technology that no one can afford will fail to achieve the sales pitch.

Thus, America needs to demand change through the ballot box, insist that freedom and private property are returned to the people. Those representatives who have no moral center, or cannot serve their constituents from both parties equally, are removed from politics; indefinitely! Since America is a Republic and not a democracy (yet!), the problems in representation can be solved.

Plastic Language is Tyranny!

Shakespeare (2016) used Hamlet to relate a line that frequently applies, especially when communicating online, “… thou doth protest too much, methinks.” Too often, those intent on misusing words are protesting too much about something. On social media, every communication, every interaction, and every person is a threat to the intellect of the one protesting and must be lorded over, trolled, and publicly shamed. A recent example of this the world witnessed during Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation process, where the judge’s children were physically and verbally assaulted—using a warping of legal rights, guaranteed justification for the assault. A careful review of any newspaper, news broadcast, and many politicians speaking will evidence the plasticization of words to justify actions, e.g., President Clinton, “Depends on what your definition of “is” is.” Words to couch a threat while seeming to be helpful and friendly, or worst of all hide abuses of others through twisted logic. Every time words become disconnected from standard meanings, society crumbles, language becomes useless, and the consequences are multi-generational, which is precisely what transpired in recovering Germany after Hitler’s demise.

I had the great personal pleasure of speaking to a senior citizen from Germany who lived through Hitler’s oppression and the recovery of Germany post-WWII, and the person I spoke with affirmed the most challenging social problem was relearning words and definitions to communicate without the taint of Hitler’s Germanic Language. Hence, we can draw several lessons from this experience; language is trained. It can be retrained; relearning language is a social problem fixed through social interactions and personal knowledge, and personal responsibility and accountability remain pre-eminent in communicating correctly. Another lesson from my experience, history repeats itself, and those with dastardly designs will always corrupt language to gain the advantage before showing their true colors as tyrants. Every single despot in recorded history has employed plastic language to lull the population into acquiescence before demanding loyalty and destroying that civilization, society, or culture.

Word Plasticity is LIC!

I cannot stress this point enough; LIC (Low-Intensity Conflict) is a type and style of warfare hosted by a wealthy or politically protected party for the demise of a population through “diplomatic, economic, and psychological pressures.” Language is a social construct. As discussed above, where Germany had to rid itself of twisted words and phrases from the Nazis, the social construct of language is generally the first step in advancing psychological warfare against a population. Recognizing the plasticization of language is the first problem in fighting LIC. How was Maduro able to lull the entire population of Venezuela into false security while he destroyed their constitution? He employed psychological warfare through the plasticization of language. Cuba, China, USSR, and every other tin-pot dictatorship employ the same strategy, twist the language, and conquer the people.

Representative Haaland (D), now Interior Secretary, was employing plastic words to hide her tyrannical ambitions, calling America a “Constitutional Democracy.” The United States of America is a Constitutional Republic with democratically elected representatives. If America is to survive as a Republic; the citizens need to understand where plastic language is employed, understand their government form, and insist that the democratically elected representatives will realize the same. Recognizing LIC is the first step, and the depth of LIC being enacted against America has been allowed to grow until America is in dire straits and dangerous waters! The American Republic must re-embrace private property and refuse what has been done since the 1900s by presidential fiat and complicit Congresses under the heading of “progressivism.”

NO MORE BS: LIC – Low-Intensity Conflict – Explained and Expounded

Dont Tread On Me Between 2012 and 2014, I wrote the first article on Low-Intensity Conflict (LIC). Somehow this article has been lost in my changing blogs and computers. Hence, what follows is an in-depth look at LIC. Please note, several authors have significantly contributed to my understanding of LIC, but none so much as Lt. Colonel Alan J. Tinder, who wrote a paper for the Air War College in 1990, titled: “Low-Intensity Conflict.” From the Colonel, I have learned much and benchmarked this principle to more thoroughly understand LIC, how to recognize LIC, and how to detail LIC for others. The other compelling source is L. C. Green’s paper on “Low-Intensity Conflict and the Law.” My aim here is to synthesize this information into a manageable topic and aid understanding. LIC 2

Too often in America, we do not recognize LIC. When the Verizon Labor Unions had to be legally restrained from committing LIC against Verizon, the judge seemed to want to call the acts of violence nothing but poor decisions by some people. Yet, the labor union had begun a tactic of pressuring Verizon by destroying property, scare tactics for third-party contractors, and causing mayhem to obtain their demands. Hence, the labor union committed LIC and got away with it, no punishment, no accountability, no responsibility. Never forget, “Barely three percent of violent crimes committed by union members lead to an arrest or conviction. … Most victims of union violence are unemployed workers looking for a job [to] feed their families. “Scabs,” they call them. Subhuman scum. Untouchables. People who, in the minds of unionists and their enablers, are worthy of the same kind of vile abuse that Klu Klux Klansman used to dish out to African Americans that didn’t know their place.” LIC

What is LIC?

Low-Intensity Conflict (LIC) is the official name for what happens when individuals or governments hire intermediaries to conduct violent operations from a position of security. LIC is a misnomer; those who have become victims of the barbaric cruelty of those practicing LIC find nothing “Low” about the experience. The conflict is intense, the actions brutal, and the practitioners remain cunning adversaries using and employing willing dupes to hide the true depths of moral decay inherent in the societal destructions and deprivations the practitioners are enacting. Many confuse LIC in describing the actions of unbridled violence committed by ideologues under the banner of terrorism. The US Military Joint Chiefs of Staff define LIC as:

“… Non-international conflict itself is a refined term for what [was] formerly known as revolutions or civil wars, particularly when these have developed into major operations with the likelihood or reality of atrocities being committed against non-combatants. Whether civilians or those [rendered] hors de combat, a fact that is often more common in non-international … conflicts, especially when ideological, ethnic, or religious differences are in issue. It is for this reason that it must be borne in mind that the term low-intensity [conflict] has no relation to the severity or violence of the conflict” [emphasis mine].

Some will proclaim loudly, primarily due to affiliation with or money donated from deep-pocketed entities, that LIC is only limited to those more commonly perceived as terrorists, i.e., car bombers, hijackers, etc.; however, paid rioters, looters, and those termed by the media as “violent protesters,” are practicing LIC. Worse, labor unions have been getting away with LIC since 1892 and the Homestead Strike. As a point of fact, K-12 educators will only teach the labor union’s side of the story during the Industrial Revolution, leaving out the capitalists providing jobs, businesses that did not need, or want, government intrusion, and the continued depravity the labor unions continually inflict upon America. Just for the record, in 1991 alone, 4400 acts of violence were committed by labor unions. Apathy

Consider this for a moment, Americans generally despise violence for economic gains; but, due to LIC in K-12 education, the labor unions get special treatment before the law on committing violence. Imagine for a moment how ugly the media would scream if the KKK dropped nails, broke glass, destroyed property without regard to a minority-owned business. Oh, wait a minute; we know what the media would do, nothing! See, when politically correct rage occurs, even when it is a minority on minority, the press closes their mouths or pitches in! The world saw this in Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Atlanta, Florida, and so many other riots, politely termed “peaceful protests” by the media!

LIC and the Law

I am not a lawyer, and the following is not legal advice. LIC being punishable under a military court is founded in the Civil War, and President Lincoln desired to regulate the behavior of Union troops and show proper deferment to enemy troops. While this legal precedent goes further back, the legal precedent begins with President Lincoln in the US. Controlling troops’ behavior led to the Genocide Convention of 1948, where genocide was created. A legal standard was set for controlling and describing proper behavior during a conflict and enforceable by third parties. Hence the reason why, and for, international courts to bring charges against countries and leaders of countries who commit genocide. Unfortunately, even with the United Nations “maintaining neutrality,” enforcement of genocide continues to be problematic. The Duty of Americans

However, the point is clear, commit acts of LIC, and you do not face a civilian court and judge; you face a military tribunal. The legal precedent for handling LIC by military tribunal further clarifies that those violent protesters and labor union members using LIC to commit acts of violence are deserving of the label, domestic terrorist. As a terrorist, those using LIC, including those paying for LIC, lose their US Constitutional Rights, face a military tribunal, and held without Habeas Corpus. Terrorists do not deserve and have rejected their US Constitutional Rights upon paying for or committing violent LIC actions. According to the legal dictionary, Habeas Corpus “is a writ requiring a person under arrest to be brought before a judge or into court, especially to secure the person’s release unless lawful grounds are shown for their detention.” If US Troops must follow the Geneva Convention during peace and war, then those paying for or committing LIC are also bound, especially by Article 3:

“… Each Party to the conflict shall be bound to apply, as a minimum … [to] persons taking no part in the hostilities, including members of armed forces who have laid down their arms and those placed hors de combat by sickness, wounds, detention, or any other cause [certain minimum rights to ensure that they] shall in all circumstances be treated humanely, without any adverse distinction founded on race, color, religion or faith, sex, birth or wealth, or any other similar criteria.”

Since those involved in LIC are terrorists and like criminals, they do not adhere to the law. The international community should be exerting pressure to capture, hold, and try the individuals involved in LIC anywhere in the world. For example, Cuba is currently holding a leader of BLM, an internal terrorist organization with roots in Marxism-Leninism. Other people have found safe haven in the international community and need to answer for their criminal and terrorist activities. However, since the American government refuses to label paid agitators as the internal terrorists they are, the criminal justice system will continue to be violated. Those guilty of LIC are allowed to continue their licentious ways to the detriment of America. Patriotism

Labor unions hide behind the lawyers and the criminal justice system to game and play LIC against everyone they consider an enemy. ANTIFA, BLM, and every other paid agitator group in America burning, looting, rioting, and “protesting” need to be labeled what they are, terrorists. Their actions need to be classified correctly as acts of terrorism. A military tribunal called to investigate funding sources and hold accountable those paying and those committing terrorist violence in America. There is no difference between a terrorist in the IRA, a terrorist in Afghanistan, and a “protestor” terrorist in Portland, Oregon. America, we need to understand LIC, and then we need to apply legal precedence to fix the situation America currently finds herself in!

NO MORE BS: LIC – What You Are Witnessing!

Andragogy - LEARN As a topic I write extensively about, some may ask, “Why does he continue writing about this topic?” The answer can be found in Portland, Oregon, most any night, where the rioters and looters are screaming, breaking the law, and getting away with this anarchy because it is politically acceptable to someone’s personal desires.

Minneapolis-St. Paul experienced LIC, and then the politicians defunded the police. Seattle, Washington, regularly, not as often as Portland but regularly, experiences LIC. People get injured, public and private property is damaged and destroyed, and always those committing the crimes skate personal responsibility, and the police keep getting defunded. Ferguson, Missouri, experienced LIC and are significantly worse for the experience! Atlanta, Georgia, has been bruised and hurt; people died. The restaurant burned, all over politically acceptable “rage” masquerading LIC; has anyone followed the money and discovered who benefitted from Atlanta burning? I know nobody cares enough about Ferguson to follow the money. What about Portland, who is investigating where the money originates paying for all the LIC? Apathy

What is LIC?

Many confuse LIC in describing the actions of unbridled violence committed by ideologues under the banner of terrorism. The US Military Joint Chiefs of Staff define LIC as:

“A limited political-military struggle to achieve political, social, economic, or psychological objectives. It is often protracted and ranges from diplomatic, economic, and psychological pressures through terrorism and insurgency. Low-intensity conflict is generally confined to a geographic area and is often characterized by constraints on the weaponry, tactics, and levels of violence (Tinder 1990)” [emphasis mine].

Detective 4 Some will proclaim loudly, primarily due to affiliation with, or money donated from, deep-pocketed entities, that LIC is only limited to those more commonly perceived as terrorists, i.e., car bombers, hijackers, etc.; however, paid rioters, looters, and those termed by the media as “violent protesters,” are practicing LIC. The media keeps trying to lie and claim, “peaceful protests were overcome by looters, rioters, etc.” This lie keeps being swallowed until the truth breaks out and the “peaceful protest” was anything but before it was “overcome” by violent actors. Want to know one of the biggest growth markets in America, paid agitators! People who do not care about a cause but are paid to scream, holler, march, act like idiots, and destroy America. One of the most open secrets about the daily disasters being witnessed in the news is those being paid to protest, throw rocks, and destroy property. Follow the money, and those paying for LIC become known and should be held accountable for the mess they paid to see.

Where is LIC most obvious?

Sure, the protests are apparent places where LIC is most probable. However, we are missing some crucial aspects of LIC if we presume the riots are the only place LIC is being practiced. Never forget, the purpose of LIC is to accomplish “A limited political-military struggle to achieve political, social, economic, or psychological objectives.” Note, the tools used to achieve the goal, “… diplomatic, economic, and psychological pressures through terrorism and insurgency.” Hence, the K-12 classroom is the number one location where LIC is regularly practiced in America and many democratically elected countries worldwide.

Consider the lie of climate change. Psychological and social controls are exerted through “Climate Change Science Pogroms.” What is the aim; achieve mass hysteria about the climate while defying and denying logic and science, preaching social changes that empower the government while stealing liberty and freedom. K-12 education in America has been intentionally dumbed down since the 1860s to stop people from learning to read, write, and logically think through mathematics as a control mechanism of the general population.

How much time do your children spend on climate change programming as an aim of LIC; more than 5 hours a day on average. The subject arises in Math, Science, History, Reading, English, Social Studies, and the list goes on and on. Then you have TV programming, from Sesame Street to the nightly news; climate change programming never ends. Always Climate Change Science aims to program the public into giving up their liberty, freedoms, and lifestyles for the ambiguous “Climate Health.” At the same time, the government steals your money, liberty, and freedom, and a select few make billions in climate alarmism to buy a new luxury yacht or private jet. Follow the money, and you find the same names, the same “influencers,” and you never see them sacrificing for the climate! The Duty of Americans

Where else do you regularly see LIC practiced in the political undermining of conservatives by the left-wing militias. Consider Speaker Pelosi’s actions for a moment as she “deals” with the opposing party in the US House of Representatives, and you will see LIC in action. Better yet, review Speaker Pelosi’s efforts during the Trump Presidency and LIC actions were clearly noticeable. Want a better example; look to Speaker Harry Reid’s tenure in the US Senate as Majority Leader, and you see LIC being practiced against the US House of Representatives as a means of controlling legislation. Speaker Boehner (R) was not a strong pick and was a horrible speaker of the US House of Representatives, but his job was made immeasurably worse by Speaker Reid in the Senate! Patriotism

Never forget, Speaker Paul Ryan (R) was more useless than Speaker John Boehner (R), but again, the minority leader was Pelosi and Speaker Reid in the Senate. Because none of these Republican Speakers recognized LIC was being used against them, they failed miserably! Thus, teaching everyone the first lesson of LIC; if you do not acknowledge your enemies are practicing guerilla warfare, you will lose! The second lesson taught where LIC is concerned, you cannot fight by the enemies’ rules. Anyone else remember Vietnam; America was taught this lesson in spades! To combat LIC, one must use a no-holds-barred, knuckle-busting, dirt-throwing, fight-to-the-death manner of combat, or your enemy will win! You write your own rules and attack! Forcing your opponent to give ground because they want to use their rules, and you are not willing to relinquish the moral high ground or fight by someone else’s rules. When President Clinton promised that politics would change under his administration, the opposition should have believed him and changed their approach. But, they refused, and America has been the worse ever since!

Look LIC is dangerous; not recognizing where and when LIC is being practiced is more dangerous still. Ask yourself, why did the US President quadruple the number of immigrants pouring through the southern border? The president is using LIC to breed paid agitators against the rightful citizens of America and illegally increase his voting bloc. Why was President Trump denied his rights by Facebook; LIC. By denying a private citizen his First Amendment rights to social media, Facebook can show a “strong and courageous” stand against conservative speech! The rules have changed, if you do not understand LIC, you will lose, and America will continue to be lost.
