NO MORE BS: Highlights (?) of the first 100-Days

Theres moreOn this momentous day, marking 100-days of the fraudulent president, I thought it fitting to mark the occasion by reminding everyone of freedom grabbing runaway government promoted by President Biden.  As CNN so clearly stated, “To date, 10 of President Biden’s actions on immigration have been reversals of President Trump’s policies.”  Begging the question, do you feel safer in your home now, or this time four years ago?  I know my answer, and I am looking forward to your thoughts.

To date, President Biden has made 50-end runs around the US Constitutional process through executive orders.  For the record, you could take President Trump (38) or Obama (34), add them with President Bush II (13), and still not max out President Biden’s lead.  I have written about executive orders and why I detest this singular action made in a free Republic (if we can keep it) by any leading elected official, Mayor, Governor, or President.  The US Constitution does not need more beatings coming from leading executives, but less.  Much, much, less executive actions, executive orders, and singular people acting “for the good of all” without Congressional representation.  Why use CNN; because as the biggest cheerleaders for the fraudulent president, they have the clearest cheering squad.

Detective 2Examining closer the 50-executive orders issued by President Biden, we find the most egregious of these orders, raising the minimum wage of Federal Contract Workers from $10.95 to $15.00 by 2022 and eliminating the tipped minimum wage by 2024.  I am thoroughly unfamiliar with any federally contracted jobs that fall under the tipped minimum wage.  Thus, I can only presume the president is now arbitrarily setting the minimum wage for the country without congressional approval—leaving serious questions behind about the legality of this executive order.  Where is Congress in exerting its power and rights to set minimum wage?

A minimum wage is a serious issue; any time the wage goes up, jobs are lost.  A competent first-year economics major can trace that cause and effect line easily!  There are direct causal relationships between high school kids needing employment and not finding it due to the minimum wage laws.  This group of uneducated workers extends to many low-income families, minorities, and many others trying to find work as laborers and cannot find jobs.  Yet, as a political stunt, the president signs an executive order, betrays the US Constitution, upsets the separate but equal branches of government balance, and somehow this is a “nothing burger.”  I beg to differ, vociferously!

Detective 4Another interesting aspect of the president’s first 100-days is immigration.  The current president’s Trump Derangement Syndrome has him reversing 10 of President Trumps Executive Orders and writing two additional immigration-related orders.  The plasticization of modular language reveals the tyranny of ruling by executive order!  The terms “fair,” “equitable,” “just,” “proper,” etc., all point to the president’s desire to see America devalued by illegal immigrants.  Look at the rhetoric used by the president to “explain” why he has reversed, revoked, and wrecked the legal immigration process, and you will find that through Congressional inaction.  With Congresses’ refusal to exert its rights, the president can do anything he wants on immigration, and Congress’s leadership just cheers!

To the US House and US Senate, I must ask, where are you?  Did you take a taxpayer-paid vacation and stopped caring that you are a co-equal branch of the government?  Do you think the judicial branch will stop the president’s runaway government by executive fiat?  Do you believe that the American people stopped caring that the president is giving away America, one illegal alien at a time, and we would not notice?  Why are you not scrutinizing the executive branch and exerting your rights, standing up for your voice, and making sure you are playing a role in the governance of America?

PatriotismI have been insulted, denigrated, derided, and many other things for my stand that every president should have a contentious Congress!  I firmly believe that when a president has a contentious Congress, the will of America’s people is better respected, observed, and through the process of working together, real compromise occurs.  But, what do we see in the US House of Representatives; we see a Speaker who is also the majority leader and the minority leader abdicating their duties to their caucuses and the US House of Representatives.  We see members of the US House race-baiting, employing every card in the deck of identity politics deck and refusing even to acknowledge the other party.  But, the US Senate, if anything is worse, and the US Senate’s problems can be traced directly to the executive actions of Speaker Harry Reid (D) during President Obama’s tenure.

Millstone of Designed IncompetenceAmerica, we learned a lot about the “families” presenting themselves at the US Southern Border for entry into America.  We learned about child prostitution, children being “attached” to two strange adults and calling it a “family.”  We learned about a lot of schemes to feed the growing human trafficking problem in the United States.  Yet, the media continues to call the separation of “families” unfair, and the president has proved he learned nothing but smoke and mirrors.  At the same time, these children are raped, abused, disappeared, and destroyed, all through executive order instead of legislated demand!  Legitimate families should be kept together, but until documentation can be obtained, separating the families for the safety of the children should be paramount!  Sorting through the MS-13 plants is not uncaring; it protects America’s main streets from terrorists!  But, these immigration policies, designed by President Trump, are hated by the media; so, these policies have to go.  Thus, I ask again, do you feel safer in your home or not?

The Duty of AmericansI was never a President Trump (R) supporter; but, I did, and do, support anyone willing to try new ideas to make America safer.  I am not a supporter of holding children indefinitely in nice hotels when veterans are homeless and fully support an America FIRST agenda.  But, I also firmly believe that the churches and non-profit groups of America can organize to help in a humane way better than runaway government supported by executive fiat!

ApathyAmerica, we need legislation on immigration, NOT executive orders that change as frequently as the president!  I have maintained this stance, publicly, since President Reagan signed the first orders providing paths to citizenship for illegals.  The illegal immigration policies in America can be directly traced to President Roosevelt and WWII executive orders allowing foreign workers access to America’s jobs in agriculture.

Feel free to look this historical tidbit up, and ask yourself, are you safer in your homes and places of business with executive orders or legislation?  Are you feeling more secure in your finances with runaway executive actions or through the “Rule of Law?”  Do you prosper more under one “Rule of Law” or under identity politics where every single identity can request special treatment, special laws, and special rights?

Image - Eagle & FlagIf the fraudulent president has proved anything in his first 100-days, he has proved America is in trouble, DEEP Trouble, due to the executive orders, runs around the constitutional process, and the abdication of Congressional rule (legislative branch) at all levels of government.  Beyond a shadow of a doubt, this president has proved that bigger government is a millstone dragging this Republic down.  Finally, this president has proven you cannot “trust” the government and must watch it like a toddler running with a knife!  So, CNN, and all the other corporate media outlets, you cheer the fraudulent president; but don’t you dare try to claim this is a good thing for America!

NO MORE BS: Let us Stop Judging Based Upon Projection

LaughterI had to laugh today (20 April 2021); I received a comment based upon an article written, and the first words read were, “You do not know what you are talking about.”  I have been discriminated against for not wearing a mask, for being white, for what I know and don’t know, and always the discrimination stems from a judgment based upon the projection of the person speaking.  Judging based upon projection has become tiresome!

What is Judging?

Judging is the action of a judge.  A judge has several definitions especially apt to this discussion:

  1. To form, give, or have as an opinion, or to decide about something or someone, especially after thinking carefully.”
  2. To express a bad opinion of someone’s behavior, often because you think you are better than them.”
  3. Used to express the reasons why you have a particular opinion.”

The definitions originate with the Cambridge Dictionary and, in my opinion, are particularly well stated to provide sufficient explanation without additional commentary from me.  Most interesting of all, the definitions challenge the reader to think about actions and behaviors where judgment, often confused with discrimination, is the first or only response to anything new.

GavelMany, many, many, atheists have complained in terms vociferous that I do not know anything about atheism.  Several theists have made similar claims but are generally more hostile than the atheists.  Regardless, one of the topics I enjoy studying are people’s closely held beliefs, and religion is one of those beliefs that are both closely held and motivational in nature.  Politics is a close second, and I enjoy studying the why behind political choices.

I have a close relative who is not allergic to food in any shape or capacity but will use the allergic excuse for food they particularly do not like, peanut butter, fish, canned peas, mushrooms, and much more.  Without ever tasting many of these foods, a judgment has been made, an excuse offered, and a diet established.  If my relative had the ability, they would live off only one food type, and actively refuses to believe that variety is a spice in life, especially where food is concerned.

Millstone of Designed IncompetenceJudgments make hasty decisions with natural consequences that must be shouldered.  Like the proverbial millstone about the neck, a judgment can become very heavy to carry.  Especially when that judgment is based on false or erroneous data, the judge will not be swayed, which explains why many people continue to smoke but do not blame smoking for the cough, lung problems, cancer, or death.

One of my favorite authors is Robert Fulghum, best known for authoring “Everything I need to know, I learned in kindergarten.”  In a follow-on book, he related a news story about a guy who was rescued from his smoldering bed, where he had fallen asleep after drinking heavily and needed a cigarette before sleep.  Who got up, relieved themselves, and then crawled back into bed after noticing that the bed was on fire.  One could judge the man as stupid for crawling back into a burning bed, but if they did not know about the heavy drinking, they might judge erroneously.  Others might judge both drinking and smoking as dangerous, and the man deserved his fate.  I laughed the first time I read this story at the absurdity of it all.  Then I got a lot of experience about what people do when intoxicated, and I understand the man a little better.  By not judging the actions or circumstances, I understand better the decision to crawl into a smoldering bed, pull the covers to my chin, and go back to sleep.  The understanding does not limit my finding humor in the absurdity of the actions, but I understand the decision-making process better now.

What is Projection?

Editorial - Educational TruthFrom PsychologyToday.com, we find the definition of projection.  “Projection is the process of displacing one’s feelings onto a different person, animal, or object. The term is most commonly used to describe defensive projection—attributing one’s own unacceptable urges to another.”  For example, the man who climbed back into a smoldering bed could be declared a lot of things by someone projecting their own biases, opinions, and poor judgment behaviors onto the man climbing into a smoldering bed.  In doing so, the ignorance of the judge becomes as apparent as the rising sun.

Still quoting from PsychologyToday.com, “Unconscious discomfort can lead people to attribute unacceptable feelings or impulses to someone else to avoid confronting them. Projection allows the difficult trait to be addressed without the individual fully recognizing it in themselves.”  I have several relatives who regularly attribute their own feelings of insecurity onto others, and it has been quite humorous to observe them in public.

Finally, also from PsychologyToday.com, we find the following, “Projecting a threatening trait onto others may be a byproduct of the mechanism that defends the ego, rather than a part of the defense itself. Trying to suppress a thought pushes it to the mental foreground, psychologists have argued, and turns it into a chronically accessible filter through which one views the world.”  We need to understand this comment as quoted fully.  Research on thinking confirms that any thought we try to suppress moves into the mental foreground and remains the only thought we can hold onto.  The more force we try to kick that thought out, the more stuck that thought becomes.  Enough experience with that thought, and the thought becomes the filter through which we see the world.

Emtional Investment CycleFor example, I know an alcoholic and a chocoholic with the same disease, but with different drugs, whose power over the individual is precisely the same because the same thought is stuck in the foreground of their mental capacities, and both see the world through their addictions.  The only thoughts allowed in their brains are how to get chocolate or alcohol.  Nothing else can stay in their minds because their addictive thought has become the filter of behavior.  Essentially the projection of their fears and desires became the addiction that controls them.

Is the relationship between stuck thoughts and projection clear?  People project to protect themselves, avoid things they do not desire, and socially fit into a peer group they desire.  All of which involves making judgments as seen through the filter of stuck thoughts.  Leading to more stuck thoughts, more filters, more behavior changes, more judgments, and the cycle repeats ad nauseam ad infinitum.

How do we break this cycle?

Andragogy - LEARNThe first step in any problem is to admit there is a problem.  Refusing to admit there is a problem is another stuck thought which allows justification for projection and judgment, perpetuating the problems, addictions, and issues.  It is okay to admit you need help!

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is one of the most powerful methods for overcoming stuck thoughts.  A little research, a little practice, and change can begin.  Please note, weird thoughts, they happen, and they do not mean you are a bad person.  Fighting those thoughts leads to stuck thoughts, so the opposite is recommended.  Admit that the thought was crazy, didn’t belong, and move forward consciously.  The thought might return, acknowledge it, and move in a different path.

Detective 4I have a great resource on this topic, “Overcoming Unwanted Intrusive Thoughts,” authored by Sally M. Winston PsyD and Martin N. Seif Ph.D.  The book is humorous, easy to read, and very helpful.  The book employs CBT as a method for getting unstuck, and I recommend all adults, and many teenagers, to read this book as a tool for directing energy and thinking into productive areas.  I am not trying to sell the book; feel free to find your own CBT resources, and feel free to share them.  For when we understand our own behavior, we can improve!

Better, when we understand this connection between projection and judgment, we can observe others and discern better the sources we allow to provide information, we elect to public office, we trust with our money, or allow into our lives.  Liberty and freedom are not built upon a fallacy, bias, opinion, and outright lies projected by scared and power-hungry people.  Liberty and freedom are built upon law, control of self, and sacrifice for the good of many.  Embracing a “Liberty FIRST Culture” means understanding those behaviors that got us into the mess we currently are in, and through understanding, solutions begin to generate.

NO MORE BS: Religion and Politics

Bird of PreyPlease note, if you cannot openly discuss either topic without relying upon emotional hyperbole, feel free to stop reading right here!  I will not allow any discussion that insults, denigrates, derides, or casts insults and aspersions on either topic.  As a Republic, America must be able to openly discuss religion and politics in the public square openly, and the public square includes social media.  I will not suffer snowflakes and idiots; take your emotional hyperactivity elsewhere.  You have been sufficiently warned!

What is Religion?

I have written a post dedicated to supporting atheists, and after some consideration, I felt it was time to tackle theism.  I discussed in the atheist article that the world is not split between atheists and theists; feel free to read that article for more information.  We begin in the same place as we did with the atheists, defining religion properly.  To understand a word, all the definitions and etiology (history) of the word are critical to grasp what is being discussed fully.   According to Webster, religion has three accepted definitions:

Religion Quote 2As a Noun: “The belief in and worship of a superhuman or controlling power, especially a personal god, God or gods.”

A particular system of faith and worship.”

A pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance.”

From Latin, Religare meaning “to bind,” and Religio meaning “obligation, bond, reverence.”  From Old French, we have the emergence of the term Religion meaning “life under monastic vows.”  Thus, a person may easily conclude that many things of supreme importance, where faith and worship are attached and is personal as a belief, can be considered a religion, including sports, food, atheists, a car, and so much more.  Consider that neighbor who polishes his car every Sunday as a method of meditating; he can be considered to be worshiping.  The same for that guy glued to the NFL all season, every season, and even between seasons, expressing a bond, an obligation, or a vow to express belief because the NFL is of supreme importance to that person.

Religious ThoughtAre the term and the method of use clear for the term religion; America has many religions and a lot of religious people who might not belong to what a person might consider “normal” religions.  I have met beer worshipers, prostitutes worshiping at the church of the virgin who believe that when taking the sacrament, it returns them to a virgin state, and a lot more, including the church of a purple (Not Barney) dinosaur.  We have the “Church of the Happy Spaghetti Monster,” where the high priest wears a colander on his head.  Lots of religious beliefs, lots of supreme beings, lots of dedicated believers whose personal beliefs are of supreme importance to that individual.

President AdamsI respect their beliefs and will honor their freedoms to believe as they choose.  I will accept no denigration, aspersions, or insults to a person’s honestly held belief structures.  If it is of supreme importance to you, that is your religion; I will support you as long as your beliefs do not infringe upon the life, property, and liberty of another person’s religious beliefs.  I expect the same rights to be extended to me under the US Constitution as amended for the US Bill of Rights.

First Amendment:  Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances [emphasis mine].

What is Politics?

Politics is too often a word with so much baggage; people become confused and stop listening after hearing the word politics.  According to Webster:

The Duty of AmericansAs a Noun, “the activities associated with the governance of a country or other area, especially the debate or conflict among individuals or parties having or hoping to achieve power.”

The activities of governments concerning the political relations between countries.”

The academic study of government and the state.”

Activities within an organization that is aimed at improving someone’s status or position and are typically considered to be devious or divisive.”

A particular set of political beliefs or principles.”

The assumptions or principles relating to or inherent in a sphere, theory, or thing, especially when concerned with power and status in a society.”

As a Verb, politic/s is derogatory and is defined as “engaging in political activities.”

From Old French Politique “political,” Latin from Greek Politikos, and Politẽs “citizen” and Polis “city.”  Thus, we have described the term politics in all its glory and inhumanity.  Is the term more understood?  Politics is a descriptive tool used to identify certain human activities where power is sought, and devious means and divisive gestures are employed to obtain that power.  Every action tied to securing power through devious means and divisive gestures is politics or political, which means derogatory.  For those needing more, derogatory is “showing a critical or disrespectful attitude.”Patriotism

Why are these topics important for open discussion?

I do not include the definitions to insult anyone’s intelligence!  The definitions are required to place all of us on the same page of understanding to discuss what is happening and use the terms correctly.  In our world, so many words have been plasticized to encourage tyranny through modular language.

Dont Tread On MeThe tyranny is witnessed in many different means and methods.  The easiest way to see the tyranny is in the lawfare we witness every Christmas by the atheists demanding less Christ and other religions in the traditional winter holidays.  Religion can be politics, and as such, this places your political beliefs into a sacred area.  I will not tell you how to vote or express your political beliefs, nor your religious beliefs.  I expect the same in return!

I demand the ability to discuss both topics openly without moderators, thought police, speech Nazis, trolls, and others giving way to emotion.  Consider something, Benjamin Franklin wrote a letter to Reverend Ezra Stiles and discussed his beliefs, asking Reverend Stiles, President of Yale College, to keep the letter confidential.  Franklin said, “All sects here [in Philadelphia] have experienced my goodwill in assisting them with subscriptions for building their new places of worship; and as I have never [publicly] opposed any of their doctrines, I hope to go out of the world in peace with all” (p. 65).  I agree with Mr. Franklin; my religious tenets are my own affairs, I do not push religion, and allow all men (and women) the ability to believe as they choose.Apathy

However, I understand precisely what President George Washington said in his final address to the nation about religion.

Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.”  Continuing, Pres. Washington called religion and morality “Pillars of human happiness, and the duty of citizens to uphold.”  Concluding with, “Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation [and morality in society] desert the oaths?  Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”

Liberty and Freedom are Rooted in Politics and Religion!

As Pres. Thomas Jefferson claimed the French Revolution occurred because of “Kings, nobles, and priests.”  The French Revolution, especially the influence of the church in state affairs, is one reason why President Jefferson was such a stickler for the “Rule of Law” and one of the most important reasons for supporting the First Amendment, which allowed America to keep Church and State separate.  A town supporting a Christmas decoration does not intrude or imply a Christian breach into state affairs.  A violation of church and state affairs, which would be unconstitutional, would be for Pres. Biden to invite the Pope to dictate laws for America.  Is the distinction clear?  The separation of church and state has been a legal quagmire since 1879 SCOTUS decision on Reynolds v. United States.  Bad cases have made bad case law, and bad case law has left everyone scratching their heads and hostile!

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.”

Morality in society needs strong religious people who place supreme importance on living the tenets of their religion for liberty and freedom to grow and expand.  The Greek philosophers have been so twisted and plasticized that morality through philosophy is impossible.  Politics remains an ugly business, mainly due to the lack of morality lived by the individuals practicing political behavior.  Pick a politician, and we find problems living a moral centered lifestyle—President Clinton, well known, zero moral center.  President Obama had a pornography problem, among other less publicized moral issues.  Rep. Anthony Weiner had a sex problem with young girls.

Image - Politics is DirtyThe problem we have here is not just the lack of moral center in the politicians; it is the twisting of ethics, morals, and politics into a cohesive behavior that is the exact opposite of morality and ethical conduct required for holding public office.  Schools teach “Political Ethics,” “Moral and Political Philosophy,” and other twisted logic classes to excuse private indiscretions due to the politician’s public reputation.  Are the reasons clearer for why the definitions were discussed first?  I read a research report on ethics.  The moral decline in understanding terms became painfully obvious when behavior can be excused in a public official that would be criminal in a private individual.

A “Liberty FIRST Culture” must understand this precious connection.  Religion can be many things to many people.  Politics cannot in any way, shape, or form exist without morally centered religious people.  Liberty and freedom die with the citizen’s moral centeredness, not the politician, even though the politician plays a dynamic role as an example of proper ethical and moral conduct, publicly and privately.

NO MORE BS: Let’s Treat The Press… Like the Lower Class Life-form, They Are!

Foghorn Leghorn - MedicationIn the White House, a room has been set aside for holding “press conferences,” or as I like to call them, the circus of clowns!  Not to insult clowns.  A politician, or their designated spokesperson, is expected to present information, and the press is supposed to ask intelligent, logical, and appropriately respectful questions to gain clarification for the media channel they represent.  These special press people are supposed to be the best of the best in their media channel; instead, we get whiners, criers, gotchas, and flat-out ignorance for the world to observe.  What a swell time!

Never forget, I am the guy advocating we elect a few more bastards, and I mean that in the most blatant way possible.  So when I call the media a clown circus, I’m presenting my kind and gentle face for their snowflake personalities.  Frankly, I would not trust any of them to sweep a street without screwing that up!

BiasEver see the press room in the White House; not many have, but those who have, reported it is disgusting, and the White House cleaning staff can never stay ahead of the reporter’s mess.  I guess the American Taxpayer should be glad the reporters are no longer smoking or chewing tobacco in the press room!  Tom Clancy reported that the press room is left untouched by the White House Cleaning Staff; after watching the reporters, I can understand why, fiction or not, the press room stories are disgusting.

I detest the reporters of all stripes and sizes.  What does a report do; nothing productive; they write stories, usually as lurid and sensational as possible, to sell advertising for a newspaper, online, or TV media channel.  In reviewing history, I learned that Pres. George Washington never held a press conference.  If he wanted to say something, he said it to his cabinet or in a speech before Congress; no reporter needed, no talking head explaining after the address.

Dont Tread On MeFrom Richard Brookhiser’s incredible book, “What Would the Founders Do? (Our Questions Their Answers), we find this perfectly apt sentiment.  “Whatever the founders thought about the creation of man in Genesis, they considered professional journalists … to be a lower order of being.  No gentlemen ever dueled a journalist; in a pinch, your friends might beat one up for you” (p.142).  Let’s be clear, the founding fathers wrote for newspapers, owned newspapers used pseudonyms to publish their thoughts or attack a political rival, and the skullduggery continued.  The difference was that these men and their wives were productive members of American Society, first and foremost!  I have yet to see a productive journalist.  Forget objective, forget effective, forget honest, forget useful, and never allow anyone to think they can clean up their own messes; and this was in President George Washington’s time.  Journalists and journalism have only fallen from this high watermark in history.

Let us be clear, the US Constitution as amended for the US Bill of Rights; we find the following:

First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

An atheists friend of mine claims to not be against freedom of religion; he just wants to be free from religion.  Well, I have the same policy where journalists are concerned.  I am all for freedom of the press, but I want to stay free from the press.  The clowns that call themselves journalists, and yes, I include sports reporters and weather-guessers, in this concatenation of calumny, need to find themselves productive work, just like the founders of America did.

ApathyQuoting Brookhiser again, “Hamilton spoke for the founding journalists when he said, ‘I condemn those indifferent mortals, who either never form opinions or never make them known’” (p. 145).  America is a Republic (if we can keep it), and the only way to keep America a Republic is for Americans to start heeding some advice from the founding fathers.  Form opinions, make them vociferously known, refuse to be governed when the politicians refuse to represent you properly.  Refusing to be governed is NOT an open call for ANY type of violent action, but a call to stand and within the limits of the law to make your voice known!

I suggest the following:

      1. Turn off the TV News, every single channel! None of them deserve to be selling advertising while peddling their current levels of worthless opinions, bias, and self-righteousness.
      2. Be very selective in your online media choices. Feel free to stop anyone from delivering news if they cannot honestly report and allow you to form an opinion.  Right now, the media thinks you are too stupid to develop your own opinion.  I think and advocate differently!
      3. Choose what is important to you as topics, and follow only those stories using non-Google Search Engines. Why do I single out Google because they sell your data, track your searches, and violate your privacy!
      4. Support that which matters to you! This includes media, sports, nonprofits, etc.; you are the central character in your life, not the media, not a talking head on a radio, and certainly not a sportscaster.
      5. Join me in calling for a complete boycott on all corporate media until they learn to be productive first, then a news reporter, journalist, or peddler of advertising between “news.”

Bird of PreyEmbracing a “Liberty FIRST Culture” is the first step in taking back both your privacy and your government.  Journalists do not have a role to play in a “Liberty FIRST Culture.”  Why; because too often, that journalist is fighting to steal your liberty, curb your rights, and spoon-feed fertilizer to you like you’re a mushroom or something.  Well, I know some toddlers who have the right idea when it comes to being spoon-fed anything, throw it back!

NO MORE BS: Some People Change

Bird of PreyMontgomery Gentry sings one of my all-time favorite songs, “Some People Change.”  If you pay attention to the song’s lyrics, you hear about people who make a conscious decision about how they will live in the future.  Leaving me with the question, how am I doing?

As a fourteen-year-old kid, I remember standing at the bus stop, in the February cold of Morrill, Maine, shortly after my birthday, and committing to leading a life where the chains of abuse and the history of violence in my family stopped with me.  From that day to this, almost 40-years, I can say I have failed and succeeded, but I am still in the fight.

Mother Teresa is a person I look up to.  Kindness personified, even in the midst of the most desperate of human circumstances, she kept emptying the ocean one teaspoon of kindness at a time.  There are times when I hope to be as kind as Mother Teresa, and then I realize that will require a lot more work.  Mother Teresa has several quotes that I enjoy that apply to our times:

      • Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.
      • Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.
      • Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.

Finest HourMy mother-in-law was a scrapper; born to an alcoholic and abusive father who stole her wages for the ability to drink; my mother-in-law came into this world fighting mad and swinging.  A knuckle-busting, streetfighting, hell on heels kind of gal.  I swear my mother-in-law could have scared Kitty Leroy into being an honest woman!

In her late 80s, she had a run-in with a high school football player who a grocery store employed; the player cried after getting her tongue lashing.  Their relationship improved over time.  When my mother-in-law passed from this mortal plane, she was kind, considerate, and angelic.  Her last five years or so were spent being 100% helpless from a fall where she broke a bone near her hip.  When I hear Montgomery Gentry sing their song, I thank the powers that be for having witnessed such a tremendous change in such an incredible woman.

Let me tell a story about my mother-in-law and her fighting spirit.  As a kid, my wife and about 14 of her classmates caught polio.  My wife was headed for split leg muscles, an iron lung, and a reduced lifespan.  My mother-in-law fought the doctors, did a lot of research, and through her convincing ways, 14 of those classmates, including my wife, walk today, had families, had long productive lives, and have experienced joy-filled lives post-polio.  The one classmate whose parents were convinced by medical professionals suffered greatly for her short life.Foghorn Leghorn - Medication

When I think of some people who change, President Abraham Lincoln comes readily to mind.  While he might not have made the dramatic changes my mother-in-law made, the changes he made were more fundamental and led America through some tough times.  Consider President Lincoln’s most famous executive order, “The Emancipation Proclamation.”  One of the few times in American Presidential history where I agree with the use of executive orders to make fundamental social change.  A true shame is that the Congress of the United States refuses to make this part of official law in America.  Like Mother Teresa, President Lincoln has said some things which I enjoy and motivate me.

      • Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.”
      • Whatever you are, be a good one.”
      • America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”
      • I’m a success today because I had a friend who believed in me, and I didn’t have the heart to let him down.”

I often quote my experiences with Miss Murphy, Principal of Governor Anderson Elementary School, SAD 34, Belfast, Maine.  I am who I am today because Miss Murphy influenced me in a primary manner that changed my life.  Two people had a tremendous impact on my life, Miss Murphy and a family friend who became my best friend.  Two people from paradoxical backgrounds chose to invest in me as a person, above and beyond the typical call of duty.  Miss Murphy had a poster in her office, it was of a forest of pine trees, with a path that wandered into the background, but the caption on this poster has stayed with me since the first time I saw it:

Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.”

I did not know why, the first time I saw that poster, why I liked it.  But, after enough years of thoughtful consideration, I understand why I love that poster.  How many times have we wanted a friend but got a follower or a person who wanted to lead; I do not know about you, but this has happened too many times.Friends Quote

To the bigots ignorant of history, please keep your yap shut!  Another person I recognize as a great leader, amazing person, and someone who personified the saying, “Some people change,” is General Robert E. Lee.  A man known to walk through his Arlington fields where Confederate and Union soldiers were laid to rest who prayed for those entombed.  The US Congress thought to punish General Robert E. Lee by seizing his fields for a National Cemetery, but in the end, the seizure was not the punishment the US Congress thought; that is the character of the man.  General Lee makes several points the world would be wiser to heed.

      • We failed, but in the good providence of God, apparent failure often proves a blessing.
      • I cannot trust a man to control others who cannot control himself.
      • Obedience to lawful authority is the foundation of manly character.
      • The education of a man is never completed until he dies.
      • Never do a wrong thing to make a friend or to keep one.

A “Liberty FIRST Culture” recognizes that truth comes when people change.  People can choose to change, and in changing their minds, change the world.  Never give up on people!

NO MORE BS: Honest Questions

ApathyThe following are honest questions.  Please let me know your insights in the comments or IM me through LinkedIn if you know the answers.  I have many questions, but I can find no answer to, or reasoning for, in my research.

      1. What disqualifies a politician from becoming elected? The US currently has at least one governor, but more than likely five governors currently outside the law, the state supreme court has ruled, and the governor continues to act like a feudal lord on a power trip.  How many victims will come forward before their legislative branch forces out the governors being accused of sexual impropriety?
      2. How can a government agency win a retail customer service award when they have 45-90 minute wait times regularly in their lobby, spite-filled retail associates, and lazy workers? My local USPS has regularly won awards for “Best in Retail Service” awards from the USPS.  Today, I waited for more than an hour for packages that could not be retrieved on the day they were delivered, as the USPS requires 24-hours after delivery before the package is available for pickup.  I have some concerns!The Duty of Americans
      3. Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results. Frankly, I am madder than a wet chicken with a raging case of hemorrhoids over the continuing gun violence and social unrest in America and the World.  Why do we continue to punish legal-gun owners when criminals using weapons is the problem, and the solution is so profoundly simple, arm all law-abiding citizens!  Why do we keep repeating this same cycle?
      4. Why does the corporate media keep generating victims? Especially in America, generating victims should be frowned upon; yet, the media continues to make criminals victims and victims into mega-winners through the judicial process.  The taxpayer has to fund the payoffs.  Yes; I am talking about George Floyd and some others who the media created as victims and then blew up social unrest to feed their ego and make a story.Patriotism
      5. Why can’t the US Federal Government and other levels of Government be sued for infringement of rights? I have lost all rights and access to the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Because I cannot raise funds for a lawyer, I cannot bring a case to win my rights back, even though I have been injured three times and treated horribly, while the VAMC in Phoenix has broken Federal Law (HIPAA & EMTALA).  To even have my case evaluated, I have to raise $18,000.00, which is just the start of the legal fees, to potentially see if the VAMC in Phoenix has broken the law sufficiently for a Federal Prosecutor to decide I have a case.  While I resent the litigiousness in American Society, I also realize that the Government exceeds its legal bounds and needs to be forced into accountability.Guns and Liberals - A Pipe Dream

Those are my five top questions.  I do not want this post to appear maudlin, depressing, or negative; I do want this post, as with all my posts, to spark a conversation on change.  Americans, mainly but the trend is worldwide, have not asked their elected officials questions and demanded answers since the late 1940s.  The date coincides with the time when governments began changing the definition of property and claiming their citizens were the property of the Government.  That the intellectual property, farm/ranch/dairy goods were the Government’s property first, then the farmer/rancher/dairymen.  The growth of the Military-Industrial-Government complex is part and parcel of the problems we are facing today.3-direectional-balance

Consider the actions of the military junta in Myanmar and the continued violence in that country.  The Military-Industrial-Government complex got out of hand, and the citizens are trying to re-take their Government.  The death toll mounts because fundamental social problems are not being solved first to establish a stronger government, and the military will not cede power.  In a vacuum, those with the most weapons wins, and Myanmar is suffering from the vacuum.

Consider Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil, Greece, France, and so many other shaky governments.  You will find social problems stemming directly from the Military-Industrial-Government power trifecta stripping individual rights, committing atrocities, and all of this is a legacy of WWII.  Not the Cold War, not WWI, although some of the practices originate in WWI, the ideas did not become regular social answers until WWII and post-WWII recovery.

LinkedIn ImageLet us, the citizens begin to embrace and demand a “Liberty FIRST Culture” in our societies.  Where individual rights trump government action and bureaucratic fiat; and where the Government is physically reduced in size to allow Society to grow again.  Change must come through the appropriate use of the law, through the force of the collective will of the people willing to thwart Government and the Military-Industrial-Government trifecta!

NO MORE BS: The Role of the Rule of Law

GavelRome made global history when it wrote down its laws and posted these laws in a manner that told everyone that the law was the highest order in the land, and everyone is held to the same legal standard.  Writing down laws was nothing new in societies; the Jews had written and codified their laws long before Rome, but to hold everyone accountable to the same legal standard set Rome apart and blessed their land.  Why did Rome eventually fall; they stopped holding everyone responsible to one rule of law.

What is the Role of Law?

Ask a lawyer this question, and you will get a similar answer to the following:

Laws provide a framework and rules to help resolve disputes between individuals. Laws create a system where individuals can bring their disputes before an impartial fact-finder, such as a judge or jury.”

Frankly, my experience with lawyers is as productive as my relationship with the VA, hostile and not productive.  Hence, I infer that the law’s role in society is to bring order to a social environment, produce equality under the law, and punish those who decide to break the law.  Law is an expectation, a social contract, that restricts and constricts behavior to a socially acceptable level.

Thin Blue LineConsider today’s tragic events in Boulder, Colorado.  Before the blood was even clean at the scene, we have the President and selected hysterical gun-grabbing politicians making hay and demanding “gun reform.”  Except, “Gun Reform” always means stealing guns from legal owners and doing nothing about illegal gun holders.  Nothing is being urged to avoid and eliminate criminal behaviors with a firearm.  The Rule of Law’s role only applies to those who choose to live according to society’s laws and rules.  Those choosing to live outside society’s rules are terrorists and need to be treated as such!

President Lincoln is quoted thus:

Let every American, every lover of Liberty, every well wisher to his posterity, swear by the blood of the Revolution, never to violate in the least particular, the laws of the country; and never to tolerate their abuse by others. As the Patriots of seventy-six did to the support of the Declaration of Independence, so to the support of the Constitution and Laws, let every American pledge his life, his property, and his sacred honor; let every man remember that to violate the law, is to trample on the blood of his father, and to tear [down] the character of his own, and his children’s Liberty. Let reverence for the [Constitutional] laws [of America]… become the political religion of the nation.” President Lincoln is quoted thus: “Let every American, every lover of Liberty, every well wisher to his posterity, swear by the blood of the Revolution, never to violate in the least particular, the laws of the country; and never to tolerate their abuse by others. President Lincoln continued to proclaim:

When I so pressingly urge a strict observance of all the laws, let me not be understood as saying there are no bad laws, nor that grievances may not arise, for the redress of which, no legal provisions have been made, I mean to say no such thing. But I do mean to say, that, although bad laws, if they exist, should be repealed as soon as possible, still while they continue in force, for the sake of example, they should be religiously observed.” The Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln edited by Roy P. Basler, Volume I, “Address Before the Young Men’s Lyceum of Springfield, Illinois” (January 27, 1838), p. 112.

Does President Lincoln’s plea inspire you, encourage you, and provide direction for improving the government moving forward?  The role of the “Rule of Law” is to empower and motivate people, to create order in a society, and to constrict and restrict behaviors for those choosing to live outside societal norms and acceptable behaviors.  Is the role of the “Rule of Law” clear?

President AdamsWhat is the “Rule of Law?”

As President Lincoln was quoted above, the “Rule of Law” in America is:

“[The] support of the Declaration of Independence, the support of the Constitution and Laws, let every American pledge his life, his property, and his sacred honor; let every man remember that to violate the law, is to trample on the blood of his father, and to tear [down] the character of his own, and his children’s Liberty. Let reverence for the [Constitutional] laws [of America] … become the political religion of the nation.”

Are laws currently abusing America; absolutely!  Herein is the charge to action; the government has chosen to declare you are the US Government’s property (Reich, 1964).  Charles Reich’s discussion on “New Property” is unacceptable and unconstitutional in the extreme.  The lack of treating the western states in a constitutional manner is also unconstitutional.  The theft of farmer’s goods, fisherman’s wares, and ranchers’ products remain 100% unconstitutional.  Yet, the bureaucrats’ actions and the politicians continue to treat you and me as unwanted property in our own country.

ApathyLike Rome, the legislators and the President are not above the “Rule of Law.”  Even though these people continue to consider themselves above the “Rule of Law.”  Worse, no matter how many laws a country produces, if the society is immoral, the “Rule of Law” is a joke.  Consider the knife and machete attacks in the United Kingdom, outlaw guns, and people are still finding ways and means to hurt other people.  France has stringent laws, yet people rent vehicles and mow their neighbors down in case lots.  Japan, very orderly society; how do criminals make the news there; they use chemicals to poison their neighbors on a subway.  Laws do not dictate moral behavior, ever!

Laws can only, ever, restrict and constrain those amenable to living a moral life.  A “Liberty FIRST Culture” understands this principle and protects itself accordingly.  Bringing this topic to a subject closely related to the “Rule of Law,” morals, morality, and moral living are all products of people amenable to religious belief structures.  Those people who desire to maintain connections to a religious society act their ideology through living a moral life.

Life ValuedI am not saying everyone needs to change religions; I am claiming that religion plays a significant role in reducing people’s animal minds to become amenable to living in a social order that respects the law and being ruled by law to enjoy maximum freedom.  We also need to be clear, atheism is a religion per Webster, and while this is a topic for another article, religion is a codified belief system with adherents that form a social order based upon expectations of behavior.  Liberty and freedom require choices; choices require more than a single option or two for a person to make more; Liberty and freedom require written and codified moral statements that grow from living a moral lifestyle.

NO MORE BS: The Rule of Law – A Primer

ApathyAll advanced human actions, the weather, the natural world all operate on the law.  Understanding the rules of that law enables all the sciences, arts, music, and advanced human action the world has witnessed as humans have gained and lost civilization throughout history.  The following is a primer on the rule of law, a concept oft mentioned in these articles, to advance our collective understanding and provide impetus towards correcting the government.

Consider electricity; it exists in nature in uncontrolled ways and means.  Static electricity, lightning, other discharges exist when electrons get free and need to be grounded.  It took millennia for man to understand and harness electricity in the crudest of manners and methods.  It took another millennium for man to understand the laws of electricity, create, harness, and purposefully use electricity to improve the human condition.  Ancient examples of electricity exit in Egyptian tombs and other sites of antiquity that amaze and mystify us in the current history of man, for we do not understand the why behind the ancient uses and make guesses as to why electricity was used.

The critical part in our discussion of electricity is discovering and then living obediently to the rules and laws governing electricity.  Without exception, if you abuse the power of electricity, harm occurs, and death is ever-present.  I have witnessed surges of electricity start fires, throw people across rooms, and stop hearts as effortlessly as I type.  Speak with an electrician or engineer, and you will hear tales of inexperienced, uneducated, or fool-hardy people breaking the laws of electricity and the amazing results that transpired.  Speak to these same people, and you can see the advantages and blessings of obedience to the laws of electricity and the power of electricity to improve lives, heal the sick, and raise the dead; all, because the rule of law is adhered to by practitioners and electricity, is safely harnessed and used according to the understood laws.

Image - Quote Poltics is DirtyTesla understood electricity’s laws and rules better than any other person in history and died too soon for his knowledge of those rules to be both accepted and applied to the human condition.  Edison, Westinghouse, and Tesla had a unique and troubled history and relationships.  Due to the desire to make money on delivering electricity, Tesla’s Tower for providing electricity through the air without a delivery network of wires, substations, and generators, was forced to be suspended, and Edison and Westinghouse beat Tesla into obscurity almost.  Edison, Westinghouse, and Tesla’s relationship is not the topic; although highly interesting and an excellent example of capitalism working to destroy people, the rule of law and obedience to the understood rules and laws is the topic.

Consider the internal combustion engine.  I have heard it postulated on more than one occasion that after gravity, the internal combustion engine is continuously being researched and debated by engineers, physicists, and other scientific people in an attempt to improve human understanding.  Electricity remains on this list as we are learning more laws and rules that expand knowledge, which then develops human applications.  Hence, when we speak of the rule of law, we speak of current law, future discoveries, and historical application.  The historical applications of laws and rules often lead to insights into everyday situations and predict where the future may lie on a particular topic.

The Duty of AmericansSome may complain; I  am speaking only about natural laws, and man’s laws, as applied through government, are different from natural law.  To those who suggest this, I say, unequivocally, “Hogwash!”  How did man form the government; they watched the natural order and created a mimicry of the natural order into society, and then began working to improve that social order to achieve what nature, or the natural world, does automatically.

Consider the starlings, little birds, that fly in concert so intricately and beautifully, acting in a harmony of motion that appears to defy the social order and government of bird flight.  Yet, the starlings’ rules and laws allow for their society to fly and mystify humans.  Deer, Elk, Moose, Mice, and so many other animal societies have been mimicked by humans into a form of government and social order, bringing with it rules and laws that apply, strictly, to that society.

Editorial - Educational TruthAmerica has a lot of rules and laws.  In an attempt to capture the width and breadth of laws and rules in America, the following statement is made, “Congress has enacted approximately 200–600 statutes during each of its 115 biennial terms so that more than 30,000 statutes have been enacted since 1789.”  A more straightforward explanation is made on a different source, “Nobody Knows!”  The first and most fundamental law is the US Constitution and US Bill of Rights.  Under the rule of law, the judicial and legislative branches of government are expected to follow and closely adhere to these fundamental documents when creating laws and rules.  However, the legislative branch has abdicated its role to the judicial branch.  The judicial branch has become infested with activists and militant and mutton-headed pillocks from both current political parties’ extremes until the law has become defiled, and American Society suffers.

The same pattern has been observed in every democratic society across the globe, with the United Kingdom, France, Greece, and Germany, leading to diminution of the understanding and governance of law.  Hence, according to just laws and rules, the social orders that used to mimic natural orders have become lost in the morass of bias and opinions forming a legal quagmire where even obeying the law has become too difficult no one knows the laws sufficiently.  Even though the legal premise remains, “Ignorance of the law is no excuse.”

PatriotismAmerica, consider the number of “Executive Orders” written by the current and fraudulent president?  The UK, consider how long it took to leave the EU and the bureaucrats who continue to thwart the people’s will?  Israel, how many elections will it take for you to have a stable government again?  German, you get the same question as Israel, and we all know how France and Greece could not form a cohesive government even though their lives depend upon a functioning government.

Citizens of Democratic governments, and America, a Republic, must understand the basic role and functioning of government to not cradle-to-grave care for a citizen, but to protect the national boarders and do as little harm as possible.  That is the government’s entire function; look at any social order in the animal kingdom, and this truth becomes evident very quickly.  Yet, humans continue to try and shape government into an instrument to beat and betray their fellow men in the name of plastic terms like “fair,” “equity,” and “New,” among many others.

Andragogy - LEARNWhat does a citizen of these governments do?

I have some suggestions, but the leading and most crucial request is to understand and then act.  We must fundamentally shift our understanding of, and then actions of, the governments that have grown beyond control.

      1. Observe natural order and consider your current government. If they do not match, you have a problem.  Acknowledge that problem exists!
      2. Understand the role of the “Rule of Law.” As the natural order goes, so should human government.
      3. Without a doubt, when natural laws are broken, death follows. Governments are dying because they have disregarded this simple principle.  Awake and arise before the globe enters another World War; because we all know how those turn out!
      4. Once you know, ACT! Vote!  Raise your voice!  Disclaim that in no uncertain terms, you are refusing and refuting the government’s power to rule you!
      5. As you learn, teach, so you may learn more succinctly, thus empowering your ability to train more powerfully. Your neighbors need this same information so you can act in concert.  Consider the starling; how fast will a starling die if they do not fly in formation properly; not bloody long.

Never Give Up!Remember, this is but a starting point in changing government, but we must start!  Embrace a “Liberty FIRST Culture,” and let us citizens act, for we own the government, not the other way round!  Never stop trying, learning, and reaching out.  When the government breaks the natural order, death becomes a real possibility, either through war, rebellion, or simply anarchy as government dies.

NO MORE BS: Postlude to The Declaration of Independence

ApathyLet me reiterate; only for emphasis, armed rebellion is not what I am calling for, advocating, or even advancing as a principle for throwing off the onerous chains of the tyrannical government America is currently suffering.  The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints reveres as scripture a book called the Doctrine and Covenants, and section 134 represents 12 statements on government that I hold dear and believe in strongly.

Statement 1:  I firmly believe that God instituted government for the benefit of man.  All representatives of any form of government will be answerable to GOD for how they held their offices and honored the power the people granted through the consent of the governed.

Statement 2:  I know from personal experience that peace is only possible under the Rule of Law, held inviolate, that secures the individual the maximum free exercise of conscience, the right and control of their personal property, and protection of life.

Statement 3:  Governments require civil officers to execute government and enforce the law, but these civil officers and magistrates are also held accountable to GOD for holding their office and carrying out the duties appointed.  Civil officers and magistrates’ responsibilities require equity and justice to be paramount in executing their official duties.

Statement 4:  Separation of church and state is to be held inviolate.  The church may punish member’s conscience but cannot refuse them life, liberty, or property.  That government may restrain crime but never control a person’s conscience.  The distinction in the separation of church and state is evident; religion may influence the conscience of men but not deprive them of life, liberty, or property.  In the punishment of crime, the government may deprive of life, liberty, or property but cannot and should not control conscience.

Statement 5:  Sedition and rebellion are unbecoming of every citizen!  Hence, my disgust at the riots, mobocracy, and terrorism witnessed by seditious people of all political types and flavors.  Laws should be written to best protect the public interest while holding sacrosanct freedom of conscience!

Statement 6:  Civil officers, elected representatives, and magistrates deserve to be honored in their appointed stations, and every person owes deference and respect in a locality to the laws of that locality.  Hence the only path to freedom and harmony among people.

Statement 7:  As long as respect and reverence are shown by a religious society to the laws of a locality, the government does not have the right to infringe upon the consciences of men and proscribe religious duties and practices.

Statement 8:  The commission of crimes should be punished, and all men are responsible for stepping forward to assist in supporting the public peace, tranquility, and harmony in a population and aid in bringing offenders to justice.

Statement 9: The government supports equality of religious freedom as the best possible method of ensuring public harmony and equality under the law.  Thus, mingling government and religion should be refused to protect all men’s right to the freedom of their conscience.

Statement 10:  Religious societies have the right to handle their affairs where members are concerned, provided the member is not deprived of life, liberty, or property, and excluding the member from fellowship is the extent of the punishment allowed.  These practices should not ever be interfered with by government officers or magistrates!

Statement 11:  All men possess the right to appeal to the civil government for redress when personal abuse occurs at the civil officers’ and magistrates’ hands.  I support all men the right to defend themselves and their properties from unlawful incursions by the government when time and exigency deprive the assaulted from appealing to the civil officers and magistrates for a peaceful redress of wrongs.

Statement 12: It is all about preaching religion freely and without government incursions, provided the laws of the land are followed.

Detective 3I do not speak for The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints!  I respect and honor the books and resources provided for their clarity and their simplicity.  I have abbreviated the above statements to reflect my personal beliefs and respect the intellectual property owned by The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints.  I firmly believe that these statements embody the principles found in the US Constitution, the Magna Charta, the Articles of Confederation, and The Declaration of Independence.  By following these statements, society improves, regardless of the government flavor found locally.

DutyI support obeying, honoring, and sustaining the laws of the land upon which you live and work.  That through the laws of your land, just grievances may be brought forward to your government officials, civil officers, and magistrates, and redress for wrongs made right.  I do not support sedition and rebellion in any shape, form, or creed, as this is the path to anarchy and chaos.  As an American [A(h)-ME-I-CAN], I support the logical separation of church and state as described above and will support any organized religious belief in the public square, provided the religious beliefs do not infringe upon another person’s rights to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

NO MORE BS: Prelude to the Declaration of Independence

LinkedIn ImageLong have I argued with myself how to complete the needed article on America’s most important founding document, “The Declaration of Independence.”  I thought I would merely write the article, then I argued about how long it would be as I add commentary, then I debated what should be included as personal commentary.  Hence, there is a prelude and a postlude planned for this important document, and over the coming days, all will be written and posted.

The Declaration of Independence was a legal notice of charges filed with the then King of Great Britain, presenting facts, logic, and legal grounds for ending the relationship with Great Britain.  Long has The Declaration of Independence intrigued me.  Long have I wondered the how and why of the declaration’s wording and structure.  Then, I asked what would happen if a majority of the states disregarded as “Fly-Over States” made a similar document to the Federal Government that run away our money, left us in terrible debt, lied, and beguiled the citizens, and treated America like cat vomit on an expensive rug.Apathy

The Declaration of Independence includes a line that, in my opinion, is as applicable today as it was when The Declaration of Independence was first drafted:

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”

Currently, the American Citizen is suffering from “governments long-established” and “abolishing” the government to which we have become accustomed looms larger every day.  Long have I asked, “Do you trust your government to represent you and not the special interests, lobbyists, and personal interests of the current politician in office?”  Federal, State, local government, do you trust the office holder?  Would you invite them into your home to babysit your children, pet sit, or watch your home while you went on vacation?  Your answer is your choice, and the consequence affects all of America equally.Government Largess 2

I know my answer; I do not trust the government’s current representatives locally, State, and especially Federally.  I refute my right to be governed by such soulless and despicable people!  I refuse to be associated with anyone who plays skin color, race, gender, etc., games over character and ability.  Business, media, or political, I hold the same disdain!  Twist words to plasticize and reign in tyranny, and I will refute and oppose you every step as I will not bow to tyranny!

Yet, from all my observations, this is where America currently sits.  Worse, many of the Democratically Elected governments across the globe find themselves in the same boat as America.  Politicians are more interested in minutia than in working together to solve problems.  Despots threatening war and the nations of the Earth sit in silence, twiddling their thumbs and complaining about claptrap and doggerel, chasing their tails in circles, instead of taking definitive action to thwart the evil in the world.  Worse, being so wrapped up in the influencer culture, they forget they are temporary elected representatives, not hereditary political classes with life-long appointments.Patriotism

From The Declaration of Independence, we find words that fit today’s US House of Representatives and Senate almost perfectly:

The history of the present King of Great Britain [US House of Representatives, US Senate, and US President] is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States.”

Debt is long-term captivity.  Taxation without representation through printing money and the Federal Reserve, including Quantitative Easing, deprives value of savings and increases debt. They are depriving farmers and ranchers of the ability to compete inside America for shelf space in supermarkets and the theft of farm goods to regulate prices.  The refusal to balance a budget and scrutinize the government’s operations, wasting time and energy on tasks outside their two mandated jobs and the list of grievances grows daily!  Tell me, and be truthful, is it not time to throw off the current government and reclaim the rights and privileges under the Rule of Law?

Let me state, again, only for emphasis; I am NOT advocating for armed rebellion!  I am advocating for a change in the paradigm we have accepted as “government.”  For too long, we have suffered as the US Government’s property as declared by Charles Reich in “The New Property,” and America needs to correct this governmental action!The Duty of Americans

Now is the time to decide, are you stamped, “Property of the US Government?”  If not, why should we, the citizens of a representative government, allow ourselves to be treated as such any longer?  Are we scared and frightened kittens hiding deep in the shadows, or are we the proud inheritors of a heritage of freedom and warriors worthy of taking on the greatest challenge to liberty and freedom, an inert and intractable government?

These questions and more need answered as we discuss The Declaration of Independence.  How you answer individually will collectively result in change or death to the US Constitution and the Republic of the United States of America.  Worse, if America falls, so will the rest of the democratically elected governments across the globe, and the world will slide into barbarism.  Anarchy is too small a word for the resulting confusion.Never Give Up!
