Chronicling the VA – May We Remember the “Pobrecito!”

I-CareA Spanish-speaking Mexican colleague taught me this term, “pobrecito,” meaning “poor little one.”  As I chronicle the VA ineptitudes, failures, criminal behaviors, and abusive actions, I am always conscious of the pobrecito, the poor little one, the poor victim who got harmed.  Too often, the victims never receive any compensation, acknowledgment, or retribution, nothing for having become a victim of the VA.  Too often, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) – Office of Inspector General (VA-OIG) investigates long after the abuse has occurred, and the victims are not covered in the scope of the investigation, or worse, the victim was killed, and the family is left to mourn, and nobody can help.

Angry Grizzly BearWhy chronicle the VA abuses; because the needs to be held accountable, speak the language, and have tougher skin and broader shoulders than the VA’s normal victims.  The VA is slowly learning they can harm me, but they cannot shut me up!  I will not stop fighting the VA for humane treatment, honorable service, and dedicated systems.  The VA is sick because apathy and inertia were allowed to replace common sense and decency, leadership was replaced with cost accounting and bureaucratic red tape, and human kindness was eradicated and replaced with drones and robots.  I know how to make the VA better; I do not have all the answers, but I know how to launch the revolution and begin cleaning the VA, and I will not stop calling upon those responsible for fixing the mess they created!

Starting this week’s VA-OIG headlines of crimes and inspections, we find a couple in South Florida who used the system to bilk more than $20 Million in purchase order scams.

Earron Starks was sentenced to 30 months’ imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, and ordered to pay over $2.4 million in restitution. Carlicha Starks was sentenced to three years of supervised release, including one year of home confinement, and ordered to pay $501,000 in restitution. They paid kickbacks to VA employees as part of a large-scale bribery scheme, which enabled the Starks couple and other corrupt vendors to receive over $20 million in purchase orders from VA medical centers in West Palm Beach and Miami. Fourteen additional defendants were charged for their roles in this scheme.”VA 3

Who’s the pobrecito in this case; the taxpayers, the veterans, and the United States.  Federal Employees had to not only know the crimes occurring but be complicit in the crimes.  Will they lose their retirement benefits, have to repay their wages, and face criminal charges and jail time for their culpability?  Fourteen additional defendants, how many were supervisors in the know and on the payroll who were promoted during this scheme whose supervisors failed to do their jobs and scrutinize the work of their underlings?  The shadiest part of this entire scheme is encapsulated in the following sentence:

All VA Employees were either terminated or resigned.”

Name me one private-sector employer who could get away with a massive scheme and enjoy similar benefits!Survived the VA

We find another VA employee embroiled in theft of equipment which sold the stolen goods in Ohio.

Kevin Rumph, Jr., of Fairburn, Georgia, pleaded guilty to stealing more than $1.9 million in medical products while employed at a VA community-based outpatient clinic in Atlanta. Between 2013 and 2021, Rumph made hundreds of unauthorized purchases of equipment used to treat obstructive sleep apnea. He then stole and sold the equipment to a vendor in Ohio. Sentencing is scheduled for November 17, 2021.”

I have worked in purchasing in both the US Military and in the private sector.  If I went to my bosses with “hundreds of purchase orders for supplies,” they would naturally be curious.  Repetition of hundreds of similar requests would raise red flags and demand audits of my records and proof of need.  Why did this not occur at the VA?VA 3

In the US Navy, I was in charge of ordering stock and saw requests for certain o-rings spike, as I knew the Chief Engineer would spot this and ask why, I asked why, went to the equipment records, dug up the maintenance reports, and asked questions of the mechanics and technicians.  In doing so, we discovered an unreported problem with machinery.  This is called due diligence; why was it not being practiced by the supervisor of Mr. Rumph?  You cannot tell me a seven-year trend line is something that was an anomaly and easily missed in budget reporting year-over-year!

Exclamation MarkLet’s admit a truth for certain; COVID has been a farrago of gargantuan size from day 1.  In acknowledging this, no blame is being proportioned to the front-line workers in any way, shape, or form.  But, the administrators, policymakers, politicians, and government bureaucrats have certainly proved they could unscrew the inscrutable!  Worse, the bureaucrats proved that their idiocy was highly contagious, infecting more people than COVID, spreading faster than COVID, and killing more people than COVID.  Our proof of this concept arrives from Houston and the Michael DeBakey VAMC.

The VA Office of Inspector General (VA-OIG) conducted a healthcare inspection regarding allegations of incompletely screening for COVID-19 and treatment of a patient with serious mental illness who presented for same-day care at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (facility).”

Findings:

      • The VA-OIG substantiated that facility staff did not complete the patient’s COVID-19 temperature screening.
      • The VA-OIG substantiated that facility staff failed to manage the patient with COVID-19 symptoms medically.
      • Sent the patient to the drive-through testing area without medical evaluation, did not isolate the patient, complete a care plan, or follow the policy for transporting patients suspected to have COVID-19.
      • The vulnerable patient disappeared while in the facility’s care, was found off-site four days later experiencing a medical emergency, taken back to the facility, and died the following day [emphasis mine]!
      • The VA-OIG determined that the Mental Health Intensive Case Management team failed to address documentation discrepancies related to the patient’s surrogate and educate the family on COVID-19 visitor policy and screening processes.
      • The VA-OIG identified the facility’s noncompliance with the missing patient policy.
      • Facility leaders’ failure to report an adverse event and ensure a timely review of the patient’s episode of care.
      • The VA-OIG identified facility leaders did not timely or accurately disclose to the patient’s family the medical mismanagement that led to the patient’s adverse clinical outcome, e.g., death!
      • The VA-OIG concluded the failure to screen, isolate, and evaluate the patient resulted in potential COVID-19 exposure to staff, patients, and the public when the patient moved through facility grounds.VA 3

What was not covered in the scope of the VA-OIG investigation was whether the staff had proper training on the written policies or if training had been suspended due to the “pandemic health emergency.”  Failure of training has been a running and recurring theme for the VA before the pandemic, and the failures of training have led to thousands of “adverse clinical outcomes” at the VA, up to and even including death.  Yet, as evidenced in this example, small decisions lead to catastrophic events.  The infected patient was mentally unstable and missing for four days; how many people interacted with the patient as a superspreader event?  Who is at blame at this VAMC for this event, the leaders!  They failed their people, failed this patient, and failed this family!

Detective 4Before continuing, we must pause and take a moment to send heartfelt congratulations to two VA Health Care Systems (VAHCS) who passed their comprehensive healthcare inspections (CHIp), if not with flying colors with significant improvement, and are deserving of the highest praise.  Would the leaders of the Fort Harrison VAHCS in Montana and the Western Colorado VAHCS in Grand Junction please stand and take a bow.  Your improvements, conduct, and capacity to achieve reflect that success is possible with good leadership.  Keep up the good work; find ways to improve daily, and may continual success be ever yours!

Finally, we come to a regular topic, the failure of the VA as a whole entity to manage to pass a simple audit on financial matters and the continuing debacle where hiring is concerned during the pandemic.  Let me refresh your memories on the hiring debacle; first, the VA-OIG found that VISN leaders “were generally pleased with the “flexibility” provided during the pandemic for speedier hiring.”  What did the American people get for reduced hiring practices at the VA?  More criminal employees, more employees with shady pasts, more employees with sticky fingers, and more employees who could not find employment in public schools, now working for the federal government.VA 3

How did that relaxing of hiring practices work out for the American people and the veterans receiving care; not very well!  But, let’s all relax; the VISN leaders are “generally pleased.”  Frankly, I would be shocked if anything ruffled the VISN leaders’ feathers long enough for them to care; they are mostly at the top of their career ladders and failing a presidential appointment to Washington, know they are set for life.  So, why rock the boat?!?!

As for financial audits, the VISN leaders know that money continuously is appropriated to carry them and their poor decisions forward.  Just ask the Denver VAMC where the construction cost overruns are still costing the taxpayers, and no one was ever held liable for that boondoggle or any other crime and scheme for that matter.

Question 3Why?  Why are victims left to rot, the assaulters and victimizers promoted, and the VA as an organization left in the hands of disreputable, dishonest, unethical, and immoral people?  Why is the VA a culture of corruption, greed, envy, sloth, and disinterest when the US military is the exact opposite?  America is not what is found in the halls of the VA, why has the VA been allowed to become something anathema to the American people?

Knowledge Check!Great Britain, you find similar in your halls of government.  Your people are amazing; your government workers are just as despicable and deleterious as the American VA, IRS, and DMV.  Australia, great people, absurdly detestable government workers.  France, interesting people, but the government employee seems to have been drug from the bottom of the scum sucked from the Seine.  I have met incredible people in Italy, Greece, Germany, South Korea, etc., but the story rings true everywhere; the government does not represent you.  Pobrecito; what has happened?

Sales Tax Holiday’s – Pure Politikal-Gimmickry

Angry Grizzly BearUntil I moved to New Mexico, I had never heard of a “Sales Tax Holiday.”  As a kid, I learned about rebates from an economist who defined rebates as money that did not have to be charged, which pays for a program to give some money back after the purchase concludes.  However, rarely are rebates actual cash returns, but get “built” into the price to sell the product.  Consider all the gimmicks and rebates involved in selling a car, and you know the truth and deceptiveness of rebates.  Sales tax holidays are one of the biggest scams perpetrated in 17-different U.S. states, and it is time to rip the bandage off this festering wound and apply some sunshine disinfectant!

What is Politics?

Politics is too often a word with so much baggage; people become confused and stop listening after hearing the word politics.  According to Webster:

As a Noun, “the activities associated with the governance of a country or other area, especially the debate or conflict among individuals or parties having or hoping to achieve power.”

    • The activities of governments concerning the political relations between countries.”
    • The academic study of government and the state.”
    • Activities within an organization that is aimed at improving someone’s status or position and are typically considered to be devious or divisive.”
    • A particular set of political beliefs or principles.”
    • The assumptions or principles relating to or inherent in a sphere, theory, or thing, especially when concerned with power and status in a society.”

As a Verb, politic/s is derogatory and is defined as “engaging in political activities.”

Knowledge Check! From Old French Politique “political,” Latin from Greek Politikos, and Polits “citizen” and Polis “city.”  Thus, we have described the term politics in all its glory and inhumanity.  Is the term more understood?

Politics is a descriptive tool used to identify certain human activities where power is sought, and devious means and divisive gestures are employed to obtain that power.  Every action tied to securing power through devious means and divisive gestures is politics or political, which means derogatory.  For those needing more, derogatory is “showing a critical or disrespectful attitude.”  Thus, at the root, politicians by their very name and nature are derogatory towards those who elect them into power.

What is Realpolitik?

Bobblehead DollRealpolitik is politics or diplomacy based primarily on considerations of given circumstances and factors, rather than explicit ideological notions or moral and ethical premises.  For a long time, the American public has witnessed the same political gamesmanship (realpolitik) in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Senate, and the Presidency.  All because those in power have intentionally blurred the line between a Republic and a Democracy to stay in control.  Never does realpolitik benefit the rule of law or provide equality as a primary and fundamental governance position.

Sales Taxes

Use the link on Sales Taxes to appreciate progressive and regressive taxes more fully.  The sales tax sits at the highest pinnacle for regression of all the progressive ideas needing to be eliminated.  Consider this, in states with the highest sales taxes, the sales tax is a reversed pyramid scheme where the final consumer winds up paying taxes on business-to-business transactions, dynamically increasing the price of the final goods or services delivered.Gravy Train 3

From an article on sales taxes by the Tax Foundation, we find the following important information:

“Narrow sales tax bases reduce collections, but more importantly, they make the tax less neutral and less economically efficient. Many states exempt certain goods (like groceries or clothing) from the sales tax for political reasons, excluding many consumer services (such as dry cleaning, haircuts, or tax preparation) largely by historical accident. Most states instituted their sales taxes during the Great Depression, when services made up a much smaller portion of the economy. Since then, the portion of total U.S. personal consumption dedicated to services has grown significantly, while the purchase of goods has declined. This trend has contributed to the erosion of states’ sales tax bases over time, an unintentional base narrowing that puts upward pressure on sales tax rates.

How can a person tell that sales tax schemes create inequitable tax bases:

Curiously, a policy expressly designed to inject progressivity into sales taxes—an exemption for groceries—largely fails to accomplish its purpose. Studies suggest that the exclusion of groceries beyond the necessary exemption for food purchased using SNAP or WIC does not favor lower earners.”

What is a Sales Tax Holiday?

Lemmings 2Simply put, a sales tax holiday is a day, usually just a single day when the government allows you to purchase goods and services without paying a sales tax on the receipt.  However, all the other sales taxes are still built into the cost of the good or service; just on this special day, the final receipt sales tax is not charged.  Sales tax holidays are one of the most inefficient and ineffective methods of “sharing unanticipated government money surpluses with the taxpaying public.”

How do we know sales tax holidays are a gimmick, are ineffective and inefficient, and are nothing but the practice of realpolitik?  In 2017, the Federal Reserve researched and found that sales tax holidays only shift normal patterns of purchases, not spurring economic growth, not increasing sales, just moving sales to a holiday to see a minor benefit on regularly planned purchases.  What’s worse, sales tax holidays discriminate unequally, making taxpayers the fool.

Tax Scheme 2For example, Florida in 2021 held a “Freedom Week” where camping supplies and outdoor hobby supplies were tax-exempt.  As a disabled person, I cannot camp.  As an empty nester, there are not many outdoor hobbies for myself and my retired spouse to enjoy where we need supplies.  Thus, people like myself and my spouse would not benefit from “Freedom Week.”  The same goes for tax-exempt school supplies; not having children in school, we do not benefit from a sales tax holiday as kids prepare to go back to school.

Worse, those in the lowest income brackets, guess what, they do not benefit from sales tax holidays either!  Just like in the example above regarding the sales tax “exemption for groceries—largely fails to accomplish its purpose and does not favor lower-income earners.  Hence the politikal-gimmickry of sales tax holidays.  If your circumstances do not allow you to participate in the sales tax holiday on the exact day (or days) provided by your state, you lose, and the politicians could care less.

Janelle Cammenga, writing for The Tax Foundation, makes the following case:

Sales tax holidays are political gimmicks that distract from genuine, permanent tax relief. Sales tax holidays are free marketing for businesses to advertise for a 4-7% discount on products.  If a state must offer a “holiday” from its tax system, it is implicit that the tax system is uncompetitive. If policymakers want to save money for consumers, they should work to reduce the sales tax rate year-round.”

Tax BurdenI agree, mightily, sales taxes are progressive, which makes them a poor tax, to begin with.  Adding sales tax holidays make a sales tax worse!  Yet, they are sold to the public as if they were the best thing since sliced white bread.  While it may be true that taxes are the cost of society, there are better ways to collect taxes, and there are infinitely better ways to spend taxpayer dollars than the profligate waste we see happening daily!

NO MORE BS: Bait and Switch “Customer Relations”

As I begin, there is a need to stress that everything done by the company is perfectly legal, not moral, not ethical, and not appropriate to long-term customer relations, merely legal.  I stress this because the company involved has continued to fall back on their legal disclaimers as the perfectly acceptable method for committing fraud, theft, and calling this “customer relations.”  As we are naming names, the offer continues to stand to print the company response if they ever grow up and address me as an equal, and not a child to be scolded by a boilerplate contract.

Blogging Bait and Switch Moves: A Misleading Blog Title Sucks | BrainzoomingOn 10 May 2021, I was informed that my financing was finally clear, and I was set to close on a home on 14 May 2021.  On 11 May 2021, while conducting a search online, I came across an advertisement for Alliance Van Lines Inc. from Palm Beach Florida.  The company offered a reasonable rate to move my household goods from Phoenix, AZ., to Las Cruces, NM., and I paid a deposit.  The verbal agreement was, “We have a driver in Northern AZ., he has to come through Phoenix on Saturday and can deliver in Las Cruces Sunday, as he heads to his final destination for a Monday delivery.”  The phone representative went so far as to place me on hold, and “check” with dispatch for space availability and to double check times for picking up my household goods (15 May 2021) and delivering them (16 May 2021), without hindering his driver’s final destination.

I paid the deposit.  Assured by the representative that my deposit was refundable, and everything was planned.  I would get a call 24-hours before the driver arrived to confirm pick up times.  I got a call, within 10-minutes of the Palm Beach office closing to confirm my household goods would be picked up, delivered to Las Vegas, Nevada, and then available for delivery sometime in the following 7-10 business days in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  This was not the agreement and expectation as set on the 11th of May.  I called Alliance Van Lines Inc., the representative hung up on me, and when I called back, the phones had been set to night voicemail.

Bait & Switch — SteemitMonday, 17 May 2021, I get more than 20-calls and finally an email claiming that my signatures and the name on my credit cards do not match and to call to rectify this oversight as soon as possible.  Since the 17th of May, I have sent emails asking for my deposit back to no avail.  No explanation as to why the deal changed, simply the reliance upon a boilerplate contract agreement, and the firm insistence that I was in the wrong in what I heard and my expectations of what was happening.  If, Alliance Van Lines Inc., responds to this article, I will be glad to post their reply as a follow-up.

Bait and Switch

From the Legal Information Institute at Cornell Law School, we find the following definition of the legal term, bait and switch.

A “bait and switch” takes place when a seller creates an appealing but ingenuine offer to sell a product or service, which the seller does not actually intend to sell. This initial advertised offer is “the bait.” Then the seller switches customers from buying the advertised product or service that the seller initially offered into buying a different product or service that is usually at a higher price or has some other advantageous effect to the advertiser. This is the “switch.” Normally, the switched product that the consumer buys is usually at a higher purchase price, an increased profit for the seller, or may have a less marketable characteristic than the product advertised.”

There are four legal criteria for a bait and switch:

“… The key components for evaluating a claim of improper bait-and-switch” by the recipient of a contract are whether:

(1) the seller represented in its initial proposal that they would rely on certain specified employees/staff when performing the services;
(2) the recipient relied on this representation of information when evaluating the proposal;
(3) it was foreseeable and probable that the employees/staff named in the initial proposal would not be available to implement the contract work;
(4) employees/staff other than those listed in the initial proposal instead were or would be performing the services.”

Bait & SwitchJoe, the employee who called me, represented in the initial proposal that his driver was available with the needed deck space to haul my load of household goods on 15 May, deliver on 16 May, and continue on his way to his final destination, and that my load of household goods was a perfect fit to finish out his load from Northern AZ; thus, the first criterion of a legal bait and switch was met.

I, the customer and recipient, relied upon the verbal disclosures from Joe to make a plan for moving my household goods.  Thus, criterion two was met.  However, I did not know that the pickup was going to be done with a 26’ truck at the time of Joe’s call and my putting a deposit down.  Nor was there ever any discussion about a third party handling my stuff, moving it to Las Vegas, Nevada, and then delivering the goods in the next 7-10 business days.  Nor, was I offered the more expensive method of direct delivery, which the representative contracted by Alliance Van Lines Inc. was willing to sell me for direct delivery to Las Cruces.  Hence criterion three and four have been met.  A legal bait and switch occurred, and I have lost the deposit of $698.00, a not insubstantial amount of money at this time.

As soon as I knew I had been baited and switched, I sent the BBB in West Palm Beach a customer complaint.  I had to dig deep financially to meet the moving expenses in a hurry, and then had to drive a truck for 6-hours to my destination.  While help was available to load and unload, the plan was blown, my health during the trip was not good, and my wife suffered greatly while riding in the truck.  I mention these facts because it was not a small feat to arrange loaders and unloaders, rent a truck and car carrier, and move, all at the last possible moment on a Friday and Saturday.

Knowledge Check! As an interesting counterpoint, I met two great people in Phoenix, who worked for Vet-Ops, who loaded our truck, at the last minute.  I highly recommend these guys as they were smart, agile, flexible, and performed marvelously the loading job.  We also met two great unloaders from Move Doctors, and wish to thank them for their incredible speed, professionalism, and enthusiasm for unloading our truck and fitting our needs into their hectic schedule at the last minute.  If we ever have need of these gentlemen again, I plan to look them up.  U-Haul deserves mention as they were able to, at the last possible moment, arrange for a truck and car carrier.  U-Haul was very accommodating both in Phoenix, and in Las Cruces and deserve the highest praise for their professionalism and support of our move.  The three companies who picked up Alliance Van Lines Inc. slack were the epitome of providing goods and services at the price quoted, in a timely fashion, and in a manner that embody a desire for growing customer relations.

Bait & Switch 2Alliance Van Lines Inc. you have brought shame upon yourself and I wish you the best with the consequences!  A bait and switch are never allowed, never acceptable, and always unethical and immoral.  May you be happy with your choices and their inherent consequences!

NO MORE BS: STOP the Insanity!!!

DetectiveRobert Spottswood, a member of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, had the following to say about non-native species of lizards and snakes in Florida.

I’m very sensitive to the people in the pet trade and enthusiasts, but this action is a result of invasive species that continue to get into the wild.  These animals are doing lots of damage, and we are incumbent to do something[emphasis mine].

Every bureaucrat who is about to steal liberty and freedom from people uses this excuse, “we are incumbent to do something.”  Frankly, it is past time for the scab to be ripped off this excuse and sunshine disinfectant applied!  When these words are uttered, injuries are about to abound, and the political representative is about to gain personal power through political theft!

Detective 4For the record, I will presume that the entire Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are behaving as “the sons of Mary,” possessing nothing but the best of intentions in their plans are programs.  Yet, I have to ask, who authorized you to “do something?”  Where does your authority to steal people’s livelihoods derive?  Who granted you the power to restrict trade, shutdown commerce, or interrupt individual people’s lives and livelihoods?  Why does “doing something” always include the loss of liberty and freedom in a population when a government entity acts?

I get it; invasive non-native species of animals are a problem.  I detest snakes with a passion and will kill them with prejudice, regardless of the laws when they cross my path.  Not an enthusiastic fan of lizards and would never consider one a “pet.”  But hey, to each their own in a Constitutional Republic, act as a responsible pet owner, and you will never have a problem with me.  But, how did we get from irresponsible owners to restricting trade and curtailing freedom?

Why is “doing something” not including increasing hunts for non-native species of reptiles?  I have seen the enthusiasm for hunting non-native species in the hunters; why not increase the bounty and open the hunt to more people?  Why not look at other means and methods of controlling the non-invasive species than curtailing freedom and destroying commerce?  If we can invent drugs and chemicals to moderate mosquitos, non-natives snakes and reptiles should not be a problem.

The Duty of AmericansWhy are all bureaucratic responses the same, shoot the messenger, kill commerce, and pray nobody figures out what is happening behind the curtain?  The Department of Veterans Affairs – Office of Inspector General (VA-OIG) investigated after the death by suicide of a veteran three-days after discharge from a mental health unit in Missouri.  The bureaucrats there had a similar excuse, “we need to do something,” and the actions taken were so subpar, it makes an underground car garage look like the Taj Mahal!  Bureaucrats covered their “doing something,” a veteran died by suicide, a family is bereft and emotionally broken, and all the people behind the incident can say is, “we did something.”  Not the right action, not the standard action, not a correct action; they merely “did something,” and a dead veteran testifies to their ineptitude!

VA SealSpeaking of bureaucrats and the insanity of “doing something.”  Kathleen Noftle, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, was sentenced to 40 months in prison and three years of supervised release for diverting morphine while she was employed as a nurse in the hospice unit at the Bedford VA Medical Center. In October 2020, Noftle pleaded guilty to tampering with a consumer product and obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud, deception, and subterfuge.  The inspectors can claim they “did something,” and a hospice nurse has been convicted of one count of tampering and one count of obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud, deception, and subterfuge.  Seriously, this is all!  What about her manager, other nurses, and the other VA Leadership who had to have been aware of this problem long before this one nurse was caught and plead guilty for one crime?  Was this a “plea bargain” so the prosecutor can declare they “did something” to curb the abuse of veterans at this hospice unit?

The excuse, “we are incumbent to do something,” is the most ridiculous, haphazard, and detestable excuse any bureaucrat can derive, and it is past time to see this excuse ended forever!  Speaker Pelosi used this excuse to pass legislation, then claimed, “We have to pass it to know what’s in it.”  Lame, tepid, worthless excuses that should never have seen the light of day are being accepted as “work” done on the public’s behalf by elected and unelected officials of the various government levels across America.

LookFor the record, NO; you, the government are not “incumbent to do something!”  You are there to enforce the law equally and leave people alone!  Not create new laws to destroy commerce, create policies that increase suicides, and definitely not make deals with criminals placed in positions of trust as they steal and harm patients in healthcare settings!  You, the government, are exceeding your authority, and the only excuse you can provide is, “we are incumbent to do something,” this is unacceptable!

I have witnessed the abuse of animals; I do not like it, but that is the owner’s problem, and the owner will eventually have to face justice for the mistreatment of animals.  The government is not responsible for policing animals.  I do not have pets; why; because I physically cannot care for their needs.  Thus, I am a responsible pet owner.  The government does not, and should not choose to be, “incumbent to do something.”  The government cannot enforce morality in a population; thus, why are the bureaucrats claiming otherwise as they act to strip liberty, kill people, and destroy the US Constitution?  Martin Luther King Jr. is quoted as saying, “Morality cannot be legislated, but behavior can be regulated. Judicial decrees may not change the heart, but they can restrain the heartless.”

LinkedIn ImageA “Liberty FIRST Culture” must recognize the government’s lie; every action the government takes will be injurious to all citizens.  Hence, the only government needed is a small, tightly controlled government that follows the citizens’ rules and strictures!  End the charade, close out the farrago, and stop the insanity of runaway bureaucratic nonsense.  Deny those claiming, “we are incumbent to do something,” the right to dictate and ruin before it is too late, and America is lost.
