Government laws, rules, regulations, and the tyrannical thumb of bureaucrats upon the scale of justice mean citizens lose, not gain, freedoms. Consider the oppression created by the European Union to “protect” wine industries but, in so doing, eradicated competition and locked-in prices to which the government takes through taxes, tariffs, and trade. The cost, though, is to stop the majority of innovation, the role of technology, and the promotion of class warfare.
For example, in reviewing the history of wine, there are several events where a member of the royalty got into a particular product, and the upper classes adopted the same tastes, regardless of costs, and to the detriment of all citizens. Tea, Port wine, Champagne, and so many other products through history repeat this process, and the government is used to protect the product, to the detriment and cost of all citizens. Consider this for a moment; similar tactics would be considered protectionist, monopolistic, and highly illegal in any other industry. Yet, because the government takes these actions, they are allowed to bend the rules, act in a manner disrupting all citizens, and worse, betray the foundational anchors of a society to trust their government. When trust in government is destroyed, the government has no moral standing to represent its citizens. Few understand this is a precious commodity, and even fewer, especially in government, will admit to honoring it.
A few examples are required to help drive home this truth; please note those specifically named politicians represent the problem, not the only people betraying and using government jargon and bureaucrats to hide and obfuscate the citizenry. Ridding the body politic of these examples is a small step in the right direction, but the bureaucrats are the primary source of power; thus, reducing the size of government is the answer, not merely replacing the elected heads abusing their office for personal gain and political power.
Senator Mitt Romney finds himself on top of this list of characters not deserving of his office, and who, with his family, should be as investigated as Biden and Clinton. Sen. Romney recently changed his mind about SCOTUS Nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson. Because of a supposedly in-depth discussion, the senator now considers the nominee “mainstream.” Senator, what does “mainstream” mean? Why should a judge be “mainstream?” Finally, which stream is “mainstream?”
I have made my mind up on this disastrous nominee based solely upon her non-qualification for a judicial appointment, let alone the ability to sit on the “Court of last resort.” Her judicial activism, her refusal to use logic and common sense in her decisions, her flaccid legal mind, and her disastrous leaning toward pro-child pornography are just a few reasons she should NEVER sit on the Supreme Court of this the United States of America. Good senator, your Yahoo! News article fluff piece does nothing to explain why you changed your mind. If Judge Jackson was not qualified for a district judgeship, what has changed in the last few weeks to change your mind? I smell serial betrayal of the citizenry and more mealy-mouthed yellow spinelessness that cost you the US Presidency!
Three state governors also help to elucidate the principle of serial betrayal and deserve removal (in shame) from public office and a transparent investigation. New Mexico, Utah, and Michigan, your governors Michelle Lujan Grisham, Spencer J. Cox, and Gretchen Whitmer, respectively, are serial betrayers worthy of Benedict Arnold, Doña Marina, or Brutus. Consider their actions, not their words, and you will find innumerable betrayals made for personal power, political gain, and the demonization of the citizens for the promotion of those who consider themselves elite. From mask-wearing, mask mandates, government brutality against citizens, and the passing of laws to the destruction of the citizenry, these governors do not deserve janitor’s office, let alone commander-in-chief.
Under the rule of Grisham and through a disastrous legislature, New Mexico became what is termed an“Adult-use Cannabis” state, which means that for recreational use, cannabis can be sold and consumed by adults. In a state teeming with homelessness, poverty, and already suffering from drug and alcohol abuse problems rampant in the citizenry, the legislature, cheered on by the governor, began to sell cannabis. The excuse sold to the people, “The state needs to expand its revenue base.” How does selling an addictive substance to a citizenry already near collapse from the weight of homelessness, illegal immigration, and government regulation improve the tax base? Simple question, never asked by the cheering media nor answered by the betraying elected leaders proposing another sale of an addictive and harmful substance.
Governor Cox ruled that when the Utah Jazz began awarding scholarships based on race qualifications, as not racist, his colors were evident as a betrayer in deed, not merely by word. Worse, look to the wording of his first action as governor, what is known as the Utah Compact on Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion: A Declaration on Five Principles and Actions to Create Equal Opportunity. First, we need to clarify that nothing in this declaration was needed as existing laws are regularly enforced already on the books. Yet, this new declaration adds some pretty ambiguous wording that is not clarified and will make judicial activism worse, not better. Leading to the first question, why was this signed into law by the governor who is expected to lead a state?
What does “economic inclusion” mean, and why should all Utahns or any citizens in a direct representative government agree this wording is essential? What is a “racially equitable state?” Utah and every other state in America’s union are already racially equitable, only made inequitable by the bureaucrats enforcing the government’s wishes. Consider the housing projects created by the federal government, supported by state governments, where race is inequitable by design. Tell me why the government doesn’t just end the housing programs and the racial division they created to have a class of people always ready to riot?
What are “cultures of inclusion?” The US Constitution already declares in words of soberness, “All men are created equal.” The Utah State Constitution declares in Section 1 the following:
“All men have the inherent and inalienable right to enjoy and defend their lives and liberties; to acquire, possess, and protect property; to worship according to the dictates of their consciences; to assemble peaceably, protest against wrongs, and petition for redress of grievances; to communicate freely their thoughts and opinions, being responsible for the abuse of that right.”
As a point of fact, Section four of the Utah State Constitution remains an even more powerful declaration, more easily understood, supporting equal rights, where equal rights promote a society of inclusion, where cultures of inclusion are grown and sustained.
Further in the declaration on racial equity, diversity, and inclusion, we find another phrase with no meaning and lots of availability for abuse, “… equal opportunity and access to education, employment, housing, and healthcare.” The recent COVID-Farrago saw healthcare limited based upon race, and Governor Cox did nothing! The recent COVID-Government sponsored pandemic also saw employment and housing decisions influenced unequally, opportunities to pursue life, liberty, and happiness were restricted, and Governors Cox, Grisham, and Whitmer were leading the pack in cheering and advancing unequal treatment under the law. Why? Why is equality something to be turned on and off based upon skin color, obeisance to government mandates, and the cudgel of government used against citizens who have the right to be left alone?
In reading the five actions you have committed Utahans to follow, Governor Cox, I am left in a mental swamp equivalent to the Okefenokee Swamp. Racism in America, especially in Utah, only exists because the government is building a disgruntled class of people who can be depended upon to riot explosively anytime their government benefits are threatened. This is not equality and does not promote life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, but you have insisted that all Utahans are racist by default. I OBJECT!
Action item two declares the need to invest more in creating the perpetually aggrieved class. More welfare, not less, breeds more discouragement, anger, and racial inequity. Since the government has created racial problems and supports racial inequality through government action, why do we not reduce government to improve racial justice and inclusion? The remaining action items do nothing to advance anything but more government top-down actions, which further promote racism as a government action!
30 April 2020, the Michigan State Supreme Court stripped Governor Whitmer of her legal basis of powers for violating the citizen’s rights to representative government. Yet, Gov. Whitmer was able to continue to abuse, despise, and detest through government actions the rights, liberties, and lives of Michigan’s electorate for the entirety of the government-mandated COVID-Pandemic. Is there any more glaring example of treason and betrayal by an elected official, let alone a sitting governor, on a massive power grab? Newsom and Cuomo cannot pale the hubris of this governor, Gov. Whitmer; you deserve to be named beside Benedict Arnold, Doña Marina, or Brutus as the greatest betrayers and traitors in history.
Serial betrayal of the electorate appears to be a game; how much can a politician get away with, remain in power, and be considered honorable? Hollywood got something right in the Pirates of the Caribbean” movies when Captain Jack Sparrow said, “The deepest circle of hell is reserved for betrayers and mutineers.” I believe in the rule of law and so wish you your day in court, in front of a jury of your peers, where justice may be served. I am not your judge, juror, or executioner. I am a concerned citizen who is fed up with the gamesmanship of politics!
America is a Constitutional Republic, a democracy, and a direct representative style of government; thus, I ask, who are you representing? The demographics of Utah reflect that the governor is not representing the majority of his constituents. The demographics of New Mexico and Michigan are similar but also reflect that the constituents are not being represented by the governments and governors currently executing the offices held. On the mayoral level, too many mayors are learning how to deceive, mimic despicableness, and manipulate the media to play the games and achieve elected offices beyond their maximum level of incompetence. Why is this happening, the gamesmanship of politicians? The bureaucrats consider themselves to possess lifelong employment in a cushy and “influential” office; they have lists of media heads to call and whisper to and lists of donors and influential people schmooze.
The answer to solving these problems is a more informed electorate and smaller government!

Hence, I would like to open the conversation into improving voting in America. It is long past time for common sense voting safeguards to be installed and mandated at the local levels of government. Here are my suggestions, let us use logic and discern the best path forward for America.
On the topic of local governments and Election Officials, apolitical should be the word of the day. When a person walks into the election offices, they should not be bombarded with political messages. Case in point, Bernalillo County, walk into the majority of the County offices, not just the election official’s offices, and look at the political affiliations on display. Take a walk through the parking lot, look at bumper stickers, enter the offices, and find the same political messages on display in the people working inside. You work for the government; apolitical is the least a person can expect from government employees; this is often referred to as professionalism!
I support citizens who desire to become elected leaders. I refuse to support politicians! Worse, I detest with every fiber of my being politics in its many forms. I hate politics and those who engage in politics from business to the military, from the classroom to the boardroom, and from the private sector to the government sector! Elections matter until they are stolen and become a farce by those who desire to rule, and this is why California, the recall election of that detestable politician Gavin Newsom, and politics matter to every single person in America. In the US Navy, when my department officer told me to “Play the game,” he meant to play politics. To the minions of hell who delight in playing politics, I have found being honest, forthright, and valiant is better, and you will not win!
Please note that emphasis has been added to key phrases to support knowledge of the complete etymology and enhance awareness. Frankly, I would be ashamed to be called a politician. Being called a politician means I possess a derogatory approach to my constituency and am only concerned with seeking power, usually through devious means. As a Noun, politics are “the activities associated with the governance of a country or other area, especially the debate or conflict among individuals or parties having or hoping to achieve power.”
Politics is a descriptive tool used to identify certain human activities where power is sought, and devious means and divisive gestures are employed to obtain that power. Every action tied to securing power through devious means and divisive gestures is politics or political, which means derogatory. For those needing more, derogatory is “showing a critical or disrespectful attitude.” Thus, at the root, politicians by their very name and nature are derogatory towards those who elect them into power.
Elections are the formal process for selecting another for an office, leadership, or choosing a person or favorable course of action. Key to elections is that they are formal, which means there are rules, laws, guidelines, regulations, and penalties for the officers selected to monitor the election process. One of the most egregious actions of the 2020 elections was breaking the rules, laws, and regulations of the formal election process in the primaries, which then extended into the actual election day results. Why bring up the 2020 Federal Election farrago? Because as of 25 August 2021, the same pattern is occurring in California, again! Ballots are going missing, ballots are being dumped in trash cans, mail-in ballots without signatures, fraudulent ballots are being injected into the counts, etc., ad nauseam ad infinitum.
Thus, the problem for ALL of AMERICA right now! Primaries are coming, political futures hang in the balance, and the media know that the liberal madness and tyranny from COVID-Mandates has left a bitter taste in every person’s mouth. The polls show no politician being trusted, and if the political machines are to keep paying dividends to special and private interests, then those investing in their favorite politician are going to have to pony up serious cash to buy the elections officials right now to protect the sleaze in office from the school board and Mayor to the president!
You, the American citizen, are needed! Awake and Arise! Find your strength and stand before it is too late and your country has fallen an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle while you slept! History will judge you and me for what we do and say right now; let them record we did not allow the American Experiment to fail on our watch; we fought back against the tide of tyranny and oppression and won!
Last week, while scrubbing my SPAM folder on Gmail, I discovered that Google had arbitrarily been sending several emails containing news of a more conservative slant straight to SPAM. Why would Google arbitrarily act in a manner to thwart the delivery of email? A topic for discussion later in this article.
I am not excusing individual accountability for specific acts, but every silent politician in America has condoned the divisive behavior. The corporate media have fed the violence and division, and the press has even been videoed participating in the violence. My wife stated something, “The problems have become too great for any single individual to make a difference.” I vociferously disagreed then and state unequivocally now that good is still in the majority of America and Americans and that 
Join me! Join with your neighbors and family members! Let us for a community of responsible and intelligent citizens, who are informed, and active in halting the government abuses at every turn! As a united front, we can win! Believe that, and we are halfway to restoring America to the ”Shining city on a hill!”
Unfortunately, or fortunately, even those committing the fraud and deception are failing the integrity test; because integrity requires at its most fundamental base, trust and truth between parties. The elected officials do not trust the people and do not want to give up power ill-gottenly gained to America’s citizens. Those paying for the fraud and deception all have different personal agendas and only came together on one item, theft of the election process for personal gain. 
Consider for a moment your job, your profession; if you failed in your most critical role, would you expect to have a job for very long? Consider a car mechanic who fails to repair a car; that mechanic will not be a mechanic for long. A nurse who routinely gives out incorrect medication dosages or gives medication to the wrong patients will not be a nurse for long. What about a contractor who builds buildings without proper foundations or the police officer who bullies and betrays their badge. Yet, the elected officials who conducted the farce called the 2020 Elections are not being fired for dereliction of duty. The elected officials will not be held accountable for the taxpayer monies wasted, the candidate’s time and money wasted, nor will they be removed from office. Yet they deserve all these consequences and more.
How have they usurped this power and keep this power; by refusing common-sense voter ID laws and flooding the ballots with mail-in ballots and technological solutions that cannot be traced to a single voter. Common sense voter ID laws include showing a government-issued picture ID before being handed a ballot to vote. Consider the following, to enter a government building; you need both a picture ID and a purpose for being there. To board an airplane, you need a government picture ID. To legally buy alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana, you need a government-issued picture ID. In fact, in many states, driving without a license on your person is a quick trip to jail and is a multiplier of charges when caught. Yet, showing an ID or printing the tracking number/serial number of the ID on a ballot is considered too demanding and has been fought viciously to perpetuate voting inconsistencies and allow fraud in elections.
America will not long survive as the “Shining city upon a hill” if the problems with election laws, the lack of common-sense voter ID laws, and the dead continue to vote in America’s election processes! We, the citizens of America, must act! Not the Supreme Court Justices or any other judge, not legislators, and indeed not the winners of the 2020 Elections. “We The People” are responsible and need to step up to retrieve the power stolen by our neighbors.
A noted fact in American History, not favorable, but factual; in every election the dead will vote for the political left. When the dead vote, this is fraud. Fraud is generally defined in terms as, any wrongful or criminal deception, with intent, that results in financial or personal gain. Logic relates that the dead, being dead, are not eligible to vote in an election; yet, somehow, the dead continue to vote.
What is gained in committing election fraud; the gain is political power, favorable laws, a compliant media to fawn upon you, and personal gain. My friend asked me how a politician gains financially by being elected. I responded, how did Ex-President Bill Clinton in the year after leaving the White House, just making 57 speeches, earn $13.7 Million in speaking and writing fees? One year, 57 different speeches, a little writing, and $13.7 Million USD just appeared. This is but a single example of how politicians, and ex-politicians, turn momentary fame in the ballot box into lifelong Millions of dollars.
However, one of the legal issues facing the calls to clean up voter records and the fraud of dead people voting is the legal hairsplitting between intentional and unintentional fraud. Unintentional fraud is also referred to as negligent misrepresentation. If you, as a citizen concerned about election fraud are confused, it is okay, this is a lawyer’s bread and butter, and a logical person’s headache.
As an independent voter, I generally never become entangled in the mess surrounding elections. Yet, in 2020, not a day past without a text from Wisconsin, Ohio, Maine, Wyoming, Michigan, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Washington, or Arizona political action committees or the democratic party representatives contacting me to urge me to vote for a democratic candidate or democratic favored piece of legislation. While I have not checked, I would not be surprised to see I had voted in every single previous state of residence, all because mail-in ballots were sent out and my records were still live and active on all those state rolls. If I, as an independent voter received this harassment, I can only guess what it was like for those who had political party membership.
In every county and state in America, ballot dumps occurred. In the six states causing the most problems, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, and Nevada, we find the most egregious ballot dumps. Pennsylvania had 90,000 votes dumped into counting in the early hours. Where did these votes come from? Why did more than 89,000 votes for Biden and a third-party candidate, when the regular population mix would have these vote totals much lower?
Is the problem clear regarding where the fraud occurs; because, at the end of the day election theft and fraud is a local government issue with national repercussions. Due to a law that insists that every veteran applying for a city, county, state job gets interviewed; I interviewed with a county election office. The interviewers all came in spouting, neigh on screaming, their political agendas, we had a well-used PETA coffee mug, coats with patches and marketing materials for democratic candidates and clauses, a parking lot full of leftist political stickers, and I was hoping to obtain a job I was overqualified for, but desperately needed. The interview began with a hostile attitude towards me and I knew within 2-minutes that I was not going to win this job. All due to my not declaring publicly my political leanings. Diversity laws include diversity of thinking which empowers checks and balances in operation; yet local governments across the country have become silent mouthpieces for totalitarian government.
To remember is to do something that is necessary or advisable which brings honor to the past and freedom to the present. Remembering is the power of becoming aware that you are more than the singular person and many others have held a hand in making you, your personality, your strengths, and your weaknesses. A greeting card reads, “I am a strong person, because a strong person raised me.” Remembering is also the power that propels the person from their starting point into a glorious future. Ralph Marston has the last word on remembering, “Remember why you started, remember where you are headed, think how great it will be to get there, and keep going.”
Captivity comes in many shapes, by many names, and is visible only through the suffering of those held captive. For example, during a conversation with several older adults, I asked a question about the captivity of illiteracy and asked how many generations back in their families does it take to find an illiterate family member. One very lucky person it was more than 8 generations, another said three, a couple said four, but a very elderly person in the back said 1, his parents never learned to read or write in their own native language or English. This man is a Native American from a tribe in Northern Arizona, when I met him he was in his late 80’s.
I see the welfare state in America that strips pride and accomplishment and replaces it with appetite suppression, and I see millions in captivity. A captivity that breeds wasted and blasted lives, people who have potential dying under government handouts, forever stuck in subsistence living and not knowing how to escape the captivity of their choices. Where for the work requirement for welfare that same person would know and understand different lessons and potentially choose a different path; thus, discovering that through work captivity is broken.
Other types of captivity our fathers suffered, and our children are suffering includes, mental/physical/sexual abuse, drugs and alcohol, criminal activity, gangs, single-parenthood, the loss of the nuclear family, technology, and so much more. Why should a person remember the captivity of their fathers? Because by remembering by recommit to not passing along that captivity to our children or communities.
These holidays are mentioned, and more exist, to aid the reader in understanding the importance of remembering the captivity of our fathers. America’s fathers have fought much, and bled much, suffering incredible injuries, all to make the future better. Can we, the recipients of these sacrifices to shed captivity, do less and lose this great Republic, without suffering the indignation of our fathers in ages past?
Remembering is an action, a thought process with impetus power to drive commitment and action in an individual. Let us not forget the captivity of our fathers and by remembering act in a method that will secure liberty, justice, and freedom for our children’s children. America is in danger of being lost; this great republic, blessed with a Constitutional form of government is in danger. I for one, refuse to sit idly by and lose this precious country; I implore you to remember the captivity of your fathers, and join me in voting intelligently, join me in throwing off the shackles which threaten to bind us down in captivity to communist and socialist styles of governance. Join me in taking back America!
Personally, I am tired of soft speakers who speak platitudes and inwardly are ravening wolves. Pres. Obama spoke softly, carried no sticks, drew red lines without consequences, and America is far worse for having had him as a president. President Clinton also spoke well; but, severely lacked morals, courage, a sense of honor, and America suffered. Both President’s Bush spoke well but lacked intestinal fortitude, grit, backbone, and ultimately were bad presidents for America. President Reagan had grit, spoke eloquently, was respected, and was a bastard whose enemies honored him and feared him. President Trump for all his good qualities is plain and abrupt. But, inwardly he has a spine of iron, and demands accountability first from himself, and then from those around him. Recently, I heard President Trump referred to as a “Bastard of a Bully!” I think we need to elect a few more bastards. People with grit in their teeth, iron in their spines, tongues that can lash and whip, and hands with calluses from doing actual work.
As an independent thinker, armchair historian, and a morally upright citizen, I have been doing more work every election to scrape the shield of whipping cream off the crap sundae the electorate is handed, and know who is being offered for election. The more I scrape, the more worthless those running for office appear. Terry Pratchet is quoted as saying, “He was the sort of person who stood on mountaintops during thunderstorms in wet copper armour shouting ‘All the Gods are bastards.’” That is the type of person America needs in political office. Not the namby-pamby, wishy-washy, flim-flam artists, but people who insist that the government needs to be smaller, thus consequentially more flexible in crisis. We need people who have suffered under the rule of bureaucrats and beat the hell out of them to achieve, despite the bureaucracy. We need more grit!
What is “Grit” you might ask; well, since America has not seen a lot of grit, please allow me the opportunity to describe this precious commodity. Grit is a positive, cognitive trait based on an individual’s perseverance of effort combined with the passion for a specific long-term goal or end state. At least, that is what the academics call grit. Of all the people America remembers who have had a positive and long-lasting influence upon American culture, John Wayne is near the top, and if anyone embodied grit, it was John Wayne who is quoted thusly, “True grit is making a decision and standing by it, doing what must be done. No moral man can have peace of mind if he leaves undone what he knows they should have done.” In understanding grit, I have oft called upon T. S. Eliot, “Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.”
America, I think it is time we learned a valuable lesson where the selection of politicians is concerned, “Be a good enough person to forgive the losers elected in the past, and smart enough to never trust them again with political office.” America has lived the words of Soren Kierkegaard, “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to accept what is true.” It is true, at all levels of government, poor choices have been made, rotten and unintelligent boobs have been placed in power above their ability. In the military, we called this “being promoted to a person’s maximum level of incompetence.” Well, this is an election year, and we will have another next year and the year after. We have been cheated and abused by the smooth-talkers long enough. Let us elect some true bastards!
General George Patton was a bastard; but, he is remembered for being the biggest bastard of them all in WWII, and when the chips were down, he won by being the biggest, grittiest, most hated bastard America had ever sent to war. I suggest ripping a few pages from General George Patton and Ayn Rand’s book, and electing people who have trod the gristmills of life with bloody feet and callused hands, who live the following: “The question isn’t who’s going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me!”
