I Have Had ENOUGH! – The Trans/Drag Movement

Recently, again YouTube has a video, a mother hears about a Drag Queen indecently exposing themselves at her daughter’s school.  Indecent exposure, as defined in legal communities, is “the crime of displaying one’s genitalia to one or more people in a public place, usually with the apparent intent to shock the unsuspecting viewer and give the exposer a sexual charge.”  It is important to note that in many U.S. jurisdictions, “it is not required that someone observe the act, or see the perpetrator’s private parts, in order for the perpetrator to face criminal charges.”  Never forget that those exposing themself in public are at risk of committing more serious sexual crimes and are a danger to society.  The mother wears the same outfit to the school board and is considered immodestly dressed for a public forum.  News stations blurred the mother’s image to prevent problems with the FCC.  Why wasn’t the Drag Queen treated similarly?  Why is there a two-tier judicial system in the Republic of the United States of America?

All are created equally.  All are equal under the law.  These are not aphorisms or nice thoughts; they are how society works.  We must be able to trust the legal system to treat ALL equally under the law.  Yet, if you choose to cross-dress, believing you are a soul in the wrong body, somehow you have special treatment under the law and can commit crimes that others would be jailed and rightfully ostracized from society for committing.

Curiosity is no sin, and I have long wondered why we hear stories of men crashing women’s locker rooms but never a woman entering a man’s locker room.  A trans boy in Vermont crashes a girl’s locker room, makes snide and disparaging comments, makes the girls feel uncomfortable, and the girls are punished.  America has witnessed a star varsity girl be a quarterback on a football team.  Yet, she never crashed the boy’s locker room.  I have been in school districts where girls have wrestled on the boys’ wrestling team; they never thought to watch the boys change, dress, disparage comments, or make the boys feel uncomfortable.  Have you ever wondered why this is always a one-directional story, boys and men against women and girls?

Since SCOTUS ruled in Obergefell v. Hodges, the claim has been made that children would be sacrificed for political correctness.  What have we seen happen in America; child molesters are now called “Minor Attracted People,” Drag Queens are paid tax dollars to dance and expose themselves to children in schools, and explicit LGBTQ+ pornography is peddled through school libraries to children who should not be exposed to this garbage.  Why?  Do not misunderstand; I am thoroughly against heterosexual pornography being peddled to children.  We have laws against heterosexual porn marketing and set legal age limits.  Why does gay porn not have the same common sense approaches and age restrictions?Lemmings 1

In 2019, I substitute taught at a high school in Albuquerque, NM, for several months.  I was horrified at what passed for A.P. English reading materials.  Seeing the reading materials that described explicit details of gay sexual activity was sickening.  Peddle heterosexual pornography with this explicit amount of detail to minors, and you would be jailed, and rightly so.  There are laws restricting this material from minors, but somehow if the materials are gay sexual activity, the rules magically do not apply.  Why?

I have seen reading materials pushed by the American Library Association (ALA) that are so obscene I could not finish reading them, and I am not a young mind in K-12.  Let me elaborate upon this significance.  In Junior High school (1989-1991), I challenged myself to learn about the world.  In seventh grade, I was going to read all the books in the Crosby Junior High School library.  I was exposed to harlequin romances that were inappropriate for my age, and regret having read them.  I read Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler, the Koran, ideals, and philosophies from all over the world, and I am better for the experience.  I wanted an expanded mind; I developed my mind and then felt better about experiencing and experimenting with the world.

NO FearGenerally, I am against banning books, but I am all in for age appropriateness in materials offered for reading.  Tell me, should kindergarten-aged children be learning about masturbation?  Their young minds and bodies are not developed sufficiently, yet what do we find in kindergarten required reading, how to masturbate?  It was inappropriate to have harlequin romances in a junior high school library.  What I needed was to learn about love, not sex.  Not knowing there was a difference cost me a lot of time and relationships.  What is the exposure to gay sexual details doing to the children’s minds right now?  Why are these materials not only allowed but promoted to children?

President Thomas Jefferson, when discussing equality in 1776, rightly reminded his countrymen that he never intended to say anything original in the Declaration but only “to place before mankind the common sense of the subject, in terms so plain and firm as to command their assent.”  Well, with this missive, my intent is similar; I desire to place before you, dear reader, the common sense of this subject, in plain terms, firmly stated sufficient to command your attention and recognize the evil that has beset this nation.

There is no excuse for the sexual attacks on our children and youth in the name of equality.  Equality has become the brick stick to beat populations into submission and chain those minds in captivity.  I choose to allow all the freedom to act as they choose, with two provisions:

  1. I am allowed to act as I so choose.
  2. Those who think differently do NOT use the power of governmental force to compel me to give up my liberties encompassed in the first provision.

If you choose to dress as a different sex, gender, or type of person, you are more than free to do so.  Make your choices, live your consequences, and leave me alone.  However, the LGBTQ+ community is not happy leaving people alone; they insist on stealing rights and liberties through judicial twisting, legislation, and bureaucratic fiat, which is immoral, unethical, and illegal.

Exclamation MarkWhere are the rights of parents?  On YouTube, a discussion was held that a mother and father had no legal say in what their child was taught in his second-grade classroom.  Really, where did the rights of parents go?  In 6th -12th grade, I freely admit I forged parental signatures on permission forms.  Yet, my parents were still afforded their right to say no and tell the school board.  More, when my mother became vociferous sufficiently to make a nuisance, she was jailed for contempt regarding teacher overreach in what was being taught to my younger brothers.

The oppression of parental rights is not new, but it has taken a decidedly dangerous turn, and this trend MUST be reversed!  The class I hated the most in school sexual education.  In the eight different high schools I attended, this class was masked under the guise of reproductivity, family planning, health, and other less obnoxious sounding titles.  But always, the class was sexual education, and too often, the course sickened me mentally and physically.  Yet, in all eight high schools, the classes were made mandatory, not by parents, but by legislatures who had been hoodwinked by Planned Parenthood and other nefarious political bodies.  I learned about women’s periods and cycles in junior high and was physically ill.  On my second trip through fourth grade, I saw movies on how children were conceived and more physical nausea.

During those years of government-mandated public education, I learned the words of Jefferson: “Liberty … is unobstructed action according to our will: but rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will, within the limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others.  I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’; because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual.”  The limits drawn by tyrants are violating the rights of individuals, and the noose cinching our growth originates in the twisted minds of those claiming equality for sexual perversion and mental illness.

Tell me, have you researched the psychiatric book on mental illness?  Several sections are devoted to the mental illnesses of sexual disorders and the mental health of people who create problems because they refuse to be bound by limits in sexual appetites.  The consequences of sexual perversion create mental health disorders.  Please, do not blindly believe me; look up the DSM 5.  The DSM-5 officially is the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition, text revision (DSM-5-TR) released on March 18, 2022, by the American Psychiatric Association (APA).  The DSM is a reference handbook that most U.S. mental health professionals use to reach an accurate diagnosis, and the latest version of the manual is the DSM-5-TR.Plato 2

While there are always discussions on the applicability and use of the DSM, this is the reference for lawyers, mental health professionals, and medical doctors in dealing with mental health cases.  The information in the DSM-5-TR remains the standard upon which diagnoses and treatment of mental health patients rest.  A basic level of reading comprehension leaves the reader with a firm grasp of the obvious, sexual appetites and passions have consequences, and those consequences lead to poor mental health, including depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, physical, sexual, and mental abuse of others, and a host of social problems and legal issues.

Yet, instead of addressing the problem and suggesting more control of personal appetites, the reverse is preached by media, politicians, doctors, and other key societal groups.  Leading us back to Jefferson’s claim that “law is often the tyrant’s will” as a weapon to violate the rights of individuals.  Another glimpse into the mind of President Jefferson shows us the following pattern.  “Whereas it appeareth that however certain forms of government are better calculated than others to protect individuals in the free exercise of their natural rights and are at the same time themselves better guarded against degeneracy, yet experience hath [shown], that even under the best forms, those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny . . . [emphasis mine].”

Slow operations are perverting government into tyranny; where have we seen this more apparent than in the bureaucratic nightmare of the federal, state, county, and city/town government on education in publicly funded schools?  Under the guise of the twisted and plastic term progress, the ability to read was curtailed by Dewey, and education was bureaucratized slowly into the mess it has become.  Math and history are weaponized into topics hated and despised, so the student knows nothing of their country’s rich heritage and history.  The popularization of topics has seen the rise of perversion in a bold attempt to groom children for the sexual appetites and passions of adults who deserve public shaming.  Instead, those with morals and ethics are denounced and shunned.Image - Eagle & Flag

Let me be clear and concise, using President Jefferson to help, “Under the law of nature, all men are born free, every one comes into the world with a right to his own person, which includes the liberty of moving and using it at his own will.  This is what is called personal liberty, and [personal liberty] is given him by the author of nature because [it is] necessary for his own sustenance.”  How you choose is your business, provided it does not infringe upon the rights and liberties of others to pursue life, exercise liberty, and choose happiness.  However, what is occurring right now remains in direct violation of personal liberty, and these purveyors of sexual perversion must cease and desist immediately!

You do not have the right to twist the minds of children!  You are not the parents, and your job does not give you the authority to interfere in parental rights!  The power of government is not an acceptable excuse to steal innocence, groom minds, or pervert those not interested in your lifestyle choices!  How you choose to exercise your liberty is between you and the author of that liberty.  When you go forth exercising your liberty and try to steal rights and liberties from others, you are the problem.  You deserve social castigation, denunciation, and the harshest penalties of the legal system.

“All Power is … Derived From The People.” – The Consent of the Governed

cropped-2012-08-13-07-37-28-1.jpgIf you are browsing a second-hand bookstore and come across the book “We, The People: Great Documents of the American Nation” by Jerome B. Agel, I recommend picking the book up and adding it to your library.  I have not found a better book discussing the founding documents of this great American Republic.  It is historically accurate, provides insights, and is a treasure of wisdom and knowledge.

A phrase in the Declaration of Independence has always captured my imagination and held fast to my mental processes.  “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”  It has always been understood that men invented governments for the ruling of other men.  Rome was a perfect example of this principle, and in writing down the laws, the first attempt at a moral government responsible to the people was attempted.  However, it is the second part of that phrase that we are discussing, “deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

Consider this principle for a moment. First, governments have just and unjust powers, and second, the powers originate with the consent of the populations agreeing to be governed by the government.  Czarist Russia is an excellent example from history where the people had enough and began looking around for a new government.  That the people were hoodwinked and communism was imposed upon them remains one of the great tragedies of the last century.  In less than 100-years, Russia went through two incredible government upheavals is mentally incredible to consider.Plato 2

Unjust powers of government are those powers governments assume where the people have not granted them consent of the governed.  When governments take enough of these powers upon themselves, the population’s revolution, anger, and frustration are the only outcomes possible.  Worse, the governments are breaking their laws and the trust of those who elected them, proving that the most dangerous person is an honest person betrayed.

Bobblehead DollAll of which is mentioned as we discuss the origin of the philosophy of the consent of the governed in American jurisprudence.  Virginia, 1776, The Virginia Declaration of Rights prefixed the Virginia Colony’s constitution and was written by a reluctant statesman and largest landowner, George Mason.  In sixteen statements on government and the rights of man, we find the consent of the governed and the need for controls on government pertinent to our day and time!

      1. “All men are by nature equally free and independent, have certain inherent rights, … namely the enjoyment of life and liberty, possessing property, and pursuing and obtaining happiness and safety.”
      2. “All power is vested in, and consequently derived from, the people; that magistrates are their trustees and servants, and at all times amenable to them.”
      3. “Government is or ought to be instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security of the people. … A majority of the community hath an indubitable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to reform, alter, or abolish it, in such manner as shall be judged most conducive to the public weal.”
      4. “No man, or set of men, are entitled to exclusive or separate emoluments or privileges from the community.”
      5. The state’s legislative and executive powers are separate from the judiciary, and the operatives return to being citizens after their respective terms in office, in accordance with the laws of the land. [Edited for brevity]
      6. Contains three principles of import:
          • Elections should be free and open to all.
          • Property cannot be taxed or deprived for public use without consent.
          • Those elected are bound to the same laws as the citizens.
      7. “All power suspending laws or the execution of laws by any authority without consent of the representatives of the people is injurious to their rights and ought not to be exercised.”
      8. Deals with a criminal trial, due process, speedy trials, a jury trial, and a unanimous jury.
      9. Deals with fines, bail, and cruel or unusual punishments.
      10. Deals with search and seizure requiring evidence of a crime and the need for a warrant to be based upon evidence or not to be granted.
      11. Holds sacred the rights to a jury trial, including for disputes between two people over non-criminal issues.
      12. Holds sacred the power of the press as a bulwark of liberty, and restraining the press is an action of despotic governments.
      13. Details that standing armies in peacetime should be avoided and a well-regulated militia is proper and natural for the defense of the state. Important to note, “the military should at all times be under strict subordination to, and governed by, the civil power.”
      14. Demands uniform government that applies to all people.
      15. Declares that “No free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people, but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue, and by frequent recurrence to fundamental principles.”
      16. Declares that “Religion, or the duty we owe to our Creator, and the manner of discharging it, can be directed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence, and therefore all men are equally entitled to the free exercise of religion according to the dictates of conscience, and that it is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity towards each other.”

In opening the discussion, one of the most egregious and despicable actions witnessed every year is the failure to follow the strictures of a peaceful society as required in the 16th statement, to practice the “mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity towards each other.”  Having been a student of religion, I have found no religious stricture, in any organized religious teaching, to living in harmony with others by practicing forbearance (tolerance, patience, and kindness), love (respect, kindness, gentleness, meekness, all unfeigned), and charity (service) to those in our society.  Atheists, this includes you; it is time to live in harmony with others and stop the lawfare.  If someone is not violently demanding you adhere to their religion and religious tenets, then leave them alone!

I Find the following extremely important to the news developed, especially over the last two weeks.  “No free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people, but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue, and by frequent recurrence to fundamental principles” [emphasis mine].  Let’s break this down:

      • Justice: Decency to all as a behavior of equality and commitment to moral rightness.
      • Moderation: This is all about not going to extremes, being restrained, knowing the boundaries and staying within limits, and being reasonable and approachable.
      • Temperance: While primarily used in drinking alcohol, this also applies to any behaviors where self-restraint, moderation, and expressions or observance of temperate behaviors are required.
      • Frugality: Besides being a good steward of other people’s resources, being frugal requires being sparing, prudent, economical, thrifty, and reserved.
      • Virtue: Requires moral excellence, modesty, personal dignity, goodness, and conformity to a standard of righteousness.

Knowledge Check!These are fundamental principles of liberty and the foundation upon which government is built and sustained.  How often do you hear politicians discussing these terms, returning to these principles as terms to write laws worthy of printing for society or as standards for scrutinizing the government agencies?  What did we observe in government this week that adhered to any of these fundamental principles to America or any other government succeeding in the past week?  Does anyone argue that Gov. Cuomo’s actions in New York were virtuous?  Were the CDC Director’s edicts frugal, temperate, moderate, or just?  How about the reaction by Congress to the mandates by the CDC?  Did they perform their jobs to scrutinize the legislative branch using these principles?

Now, some will decry that this is a document solely for the Commonwealth of Virginia and does not apply to the entire United States.  Yet, I would counter that the principles and language of this document are interwoven into the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, the US Bill of Rights, and every other founding document and US State Constitution.  Thus, why could we not use The Virginia Declaration of Rights as a template to benchmark and measure the performance of politicians and bureaucrats?Image - Eagle & Flag

Fundamental principles do not age, expire, or possess a shelf-life.  Hence, knowledge of the fundamentals empowers action by the electorate to change, correct, and demand government adherence, for we are the owners of our representative government.  We, the electorate, need to teach these fundamental lessons to the politicians, then demand they adhere and hold accountable the bureaucrats to the fundamental principles of liberty, or we all lose this precious government of the people, by the people, and for the people, where the consent of the governed is respected.

Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot: The Illinois Edition

Exclamation MarkThe story is linked in case you missed the news on 09 July 2021; Illinois has become the first state in AMERICA to mandate ASIAN History be taught in K-12 education.  Let that sink in for a moment.  AMERICAN History has been abused, twisted, contorted, and NOT taught in AMERICAN schools in ANY of the 50-US States.  But Illinois wants students to learn Asian History.  Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot Illinois!

What is the reported reasoning for this move?

According to a statement from Governor JB Pritzker, the reason for this move is as follows:

With the recent rise in acts of violence and bigotry against the Asian American community, teaching students about the rich culture and important contributions of the Asian American community throughout history will help combat false stereotypes” [emphasis mine].

For your information, the legislation is called the “Teaching Equitable Asian American History Act,” and the special interest group pushing this legislative nightmare is Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Chicago.  The website includes a Los Angeles branch, the Asian Law Caucus, AAJC, and an Atlanta branch.  Another special interest group involved in this legislation is PAVE (Pan Asian Voter Empowerment). My first question about this legislation comes from the name, “What is equitable Asian American History, especially when American History is not being taught?”Lemmings 5

What is in the curriculum?

The curriculum declares it is compliant with Common Core standards, which doesn’t mean anything as teaching masturbation to first graders is compliant with Common Core Standards.  However, PBS Learning media has a website dedicated to the curriculum plan for teaching Asian American History, even though the curriculum does not describe “equitable.”  PBS Learning media claims to be “pleased to present over 30-lesson plans based on a fiver hour documentary Asian Americans in American History.  While the Illinois legislation claims that K-12 will begin learning about Asian History, the reality on the PBS Learning media is that the published lesson plans only go from third grade to twelfth grade.  Leading to my next question, “Where is this push for historical teaching coming from?”

Plato 2I have not viewed the series; I have barely scraped the surface of the curriculum offered.  What I have seen of the curriculum worries me.  I call it “whitewashing” history, to glance over the actions of one group to reflect how other groups were treated, with the intent of stirring the racial divides and creating more chasms based on race alone.  What I see in this curriculum does nothing to “ … teach students about the rich culture and important contributions of the Asian American community throughout history” or to “combat false stereotypes.”  I ran a search engine using the string, “Violent migrant worker strikes, involving Asian people,” and the first item on the list returned originates with the Seattle Civil Rights & Labor History Project, sponsored by the University of Washington.

The context, labor union organizing, which everyone should know, includes the growth and development of Marxist ideology in America.  How did the labor unions create a space for themselves?  They drove wedges between groups of people based solely upon race, creating contention, becoming violent, and hiding behind equity and fairness to escape responsibility and accountability for laws they sundered.

Let me be clear!

Knowledge Check!Let me be clear; every group across the skin color spectrum has historically had problems in American society.  Any time race separates, chaos, confusion, and violence are bred!  I am proud that America has grown out of oppressing people based on the color of their skin and do not judge American history as racist just because historically, people acted out of fear when treating their fellow men fairly.  History is full of people who made terrible choices, and teaching that these choices were poorly made is important, but race, religion, handicap, etc., should NOT be the focus on the content in history.  The focus of history should be on what grew out of specific actions in specific epochs of time.

America IS better for the Civil War, even though the US Government continues to hinder economically and is biased against the states that formed the Confederate States.  A dumb historical decision that has kept many states from achieving greatness is due to President Lincoln’s death and the hostility in the US House of Representatives, the US Senate, and President Andrew Johnson.  All of whom believed that the Confederate States needed to be mightily punished.  In contrast, President Lincoln was pushing for national forgiveness.  Thus, we need to focus on the events, not the race, color, lines of separation and division, but on the outcomes and the fruits from those decisions when teaching history!The Duty of Americans

State’s Rights

I affirm in clear language that a state has the right to set the curriculum of government-mandated schools.  I support state’s rights to the fullest and would see each state prepare their students to meet the world and win!  Paradoxically, I also affirm in language clear that this legislation will do NOTHING to “combat false stereotypes” but will only increase racial division and disharmony in Illinois and any other state who refuses to learn the lessons from history.

History and Racial Focus

Content of their CharacterThink about this quote for a moment, who are the biggest race hustlers in America?  History has taught that when race is the only concern worth knowing people care only about race, to their demise.  Focusing on race is the sole reason why I have questioned, and continue to question, the validity of the arguments for National “Name your Favorite Minority” Month celebrations.  There are absolutes in this world; focusing solely upon race as a choice, will breed racial tensions as a consequence, is an absolute.  Recent history under President Obama reflected this exact issue to the Nth degree, yet nobody wants to have that discussion.  Why; because of race!

Bob MarleyWhen your focus is solely upon an individual’s race, race will be the only thing learned, the only lesson absorbed, and the fruit of that lesson are bitter.  Have people from various races achieved great things; absolutely, but why should their achievements be diminished by focusing solely upon their race?  Why should their achievements only be mentioned during “Name your Favorite Minority” monthly celebrations?  Has the 1960s taught us nothing about the character, knowledge, talents, curious minds, and the work performed where race was NEVER an issue?  I have books galore in my home; I continue to collect books about famous people of great accomplishment; I have never cared a whit about that person’s sex or gender.  Why; because their sex and gender, race, skin color, religion, handicap, or heritage have never been a factor.  As a kid, a thrill ran through me when I read the preamble to the US Declaration of Independence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness [emphasis mine].

Even today, these words continue to guide me.  Show me; where in the Declaration of Independence does it discuss sex, race, heritage, religion, handicap, etc.?  NOWHERE!  A lesson America needs to relearn if she is to survive.  What hinders the pursuit of happiness, capturing inalienable rights, and stops liberty; focusing upon that which divides instead of that which unites!

PatriotismFrom the National Archives website, we find the following regarding the Declaration of Independence:

The Declaration of Independence states the principles on which our government, and our identity as Americans, are based. Unlike the other founding documents, the Declaration of Independence is not legally binding, but it is powerful. Abraham Lincoln called it “a rebuke and a stumbling-block to tyranny and oppression.” It continues to inspire people around the world to fight for freedom and equality” [emphasis in original].

Think about this for a moment.  The American Identity, the bedrock principles upon which America was built, the power cell for liberty and freedom across the world, begins with a simple truth:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness [emphasis mine].Image - John Wayne Quote

A document that is not legally binding holds power to inspire actions that unite people, provided our focus is not on those things which separate us.  Cementing the lesson discussed herein, focus on race and racial division is the only lesson learned, and the resulting fruit is bitter, chaos ensues, and problems abound in violence.  Why have we not learned these lessons from the 1960s, the Watt’s Riots, the death toll in Chicago that makes war zones safer than the streets of Chicago; the focus is on race, not the potential.  The focus is on the sex, the invented genders, the handicaps, the religions, the heritages, etc., not on what is essential, character and potential, freedom, liberty, and equality under the law.

Knowledge Check!We need to get back to teaching history, where the focus is on how the decisions and actions from the past hinder or help the present so that the future can be better.  Failing that, we desperately need to cease focusing upon race, gender, sex, religion, handicap, and heritage as these things only matter to the individual and not to historical records.  Failing that, America fails, and the light of liberty and freedom will be lost to the annals of history forever.  So, gather the fruit you choose, focus on race if you prefer, focus on gender, sex, handicap, veterans status, and every other line of separation.  Your fruit gathered will be most bitter indeed, for you will miss the rich tapestry of human interaction, for the dirt caught in the fabric.

Powering my third and final question to the legislative and executive branches of Illinois, “Knowing all this, why are you focused on race and forcing students to focus solely upon race?”

Audemus Jura Nostra Defendere – Revisiting a Principle!

Angry Grizzly BearAlabama’s state motto has been used previously to discuss maintaining and defending our inalienable rights as provided by the deity and ensconced into law.  Well, after the week America has had, it is time to revisit this principle and ask for your assistance in raising our voices in defense of American Law.

Audemus Jura Nostra Defendere” – “We dare to defend our rights,” also translated as “We Dare to Maintain our Rights.”

The second sentence of The Declaration of Independence is long but influential and partially quoted below emphasis mine:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

You have a right to life, and yet the government, bureaucrats, and organizational leaders are trying to do precisely this, take your life, steal your right to pursue happiness with or without a vaccine that causes death, and treats people unequally based upon the vaccine.  More than 600,000 Americans have lost their lives through failure to act and caused COVID to be worse than it should have been.  Worse, there are factors actively striving right now to continue to strip your liberties, chain your children to debt captivity, and much worse.  Do you dare to defend your rights?  Do you dare to maintain your rights?  If not, stop reading right now.  If so, pay attention, America is in the most danger it has ever faced, and your ability to stand and defend and maintain your rights is critical to saving America.Apathy

America this week learned that colleges are stripping student rights, liberties, and freedoms to demand they obtain a vaccine that is less effective due to the youth of the students and is causing heart problems in Israel, Canada, and America.  Your children are being ordered to obtain the COVID Vaccine, and none of the politicians are standing up and screaming, not for my constituents!  Does anyone else wonder why we have Constitutional liberties being stolen, and the politicians are silent?Vaccine

Now, consider what the fraudulent president assured America of, “If there’s one message to cut through to everyone in the country, it’s this: Vaccines are safe.”  Yet, at the start of their lives, young people are experiencing heart problems from these “safe” vaccines right now!  What will we learn in 5 or 10 years about the long-term health effects of the COVID Vaccine?  The AstraZeneca vaccine is not permitted in America, as of the president’s speech on 17 May 2021.  Yet, we are shipping this vaccine all around the world.  The same vaccine that was never “officially” tied to blood clotting problems in Italy and other European countries.  Why?  The clinical trials for the vaccine strictly refused pregnant women or those women wishing to become pregnant, but all women are being encouraged to get vaccinated.  There is a health danger, and the vaccine is the root of the threat.Life Valued

I repeat myself only for emphasis; I am not “Anti-Vaccine.”  I am a concerned American who is already taking several prescription drugs. Unfortunately, none of the manufacturers can answer simple questions about the vaccine and how these drugs interact with my medication.  My wife sent me the following; want to know more information, watch the video.  It is well worth your time.  Plus, the video opens more questions about the mRNA vaccine technology, whether the COVID Vaccine is a vaccine, and whether you should exercise your right not to inject something questionable into your body.  I am not telling you to act one way or another, but I encourage you to ask providers tough questions before allowing the jab.Plato 2

In a pretty hushed-up report this last week, we learned that prices were up almost 6% from a year ago when inflation was problematic enough to be part of the presidential races.  Now, inflation in April was up 4.6%, and the Federal Government was still throwing cash into the marketplace.  Debt continues to skyrocket; your local political leaders are debating who has the authorization to spend the money the Federal Government just threw at them.  Yet, no one asks how high inflation will be by year’s end or where the money is coming from.  The only way to maintain our rights is to ask more challenging questions and demand answers from those supporting the flagrantly destructive policies of the current political leaders!

Knowledge Check!The powers who think they can control the government consider themselves above the law, and they are responsible for the more than 600,000 direct COVID-19 related deaths and the more than 14,000 COVID Vaccine deaths.  Is your right to life sufficiently strong enough to motivate you to action?  Will you defend your family and extended family’s rights to life?  Look at the links, look at the data, ask questions, and then make your mind up regarding your right to life and your pursuit of happiness with or without the COVID Vaccine as well as the soon-to-be rolled out boosters, updates, and additional chemicals.

NO MORE BS: Postlude to The Declaration of Independence

ApathyLet me reiterate; only for emphasis, armed rebellion is not what I am calling for, advocating, or even advancing as a principle for throwing off the onerous chains of the tyrannical government America is currently suffering.  The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints reveres as scripture a book called the Doctrine and Covenants, and section 134 represents 12 statements on government that I hold dear and believe in strongly.

Statement 1:  I firmly believe that God instituted government for the benefit of man.  All representatives of any form of government will be answerable to GOD for how they held their offices and honored the power the people granted through the consent of the governed.

Statement 2:  I know from personal experience that peace is only possible under the Rule of Law, held inviolate, that secures the individual the maximum free exercise of conscience, the right and control of their personal property, and protection of life.

Statement 3:  Governments require civil officers to execute government and enforce the law, but these civil officers and magistrates are also held accountable to GOD for holding their office and carrying out the duties appointed.  Civil officers and magistrates’ responsibilities require equity and justice to be paramount in executing their official duties.

Statement 4:  Separation of church and state is to be held inviolate.  The church may punish member’s conscience but cannot refuse them life, liberty, or property.  That government may restrain crime but never control a person’s conscience.  The distinction in the separation of church and state is evident; religion may influence the conscience of men but not deprive them of life, liberty, or property.  In the punishment of crime, the government may deprive of life, liberty, or property but cannot and should not control conscience.

Statement 5:  Sedition and rebellion are unbecoming of every citizen!  Hence, my disgust at the riots, mobocracy, and terrorism witnessed by seditious people of all political types and flavors.  Laws should be written to best protect the public interest while holding sacrosanct freedom of conscience!

Statement 6:  Civil officers, elected representatives, and magistrates deserve to be honored in their appointed stations, and every person owes deference and respect in a locality to the laws of that locality.  Hence the only path to freedom and harmony among people.

Statement 7:  As long as respect and reverence are shown by a religious society to the laws of a locality, the government does not have the right to infringe upon the consciences of men and proscribe religious duties and practices.

Statement 8:  The commission of crimes should be punished, and all men are responsible for stepping forward to assist in supporting the public peace, tranquility, and harmony in a population and aid in bringing offenders to justice.

Statement 9: The government supports equality of religious freedom as the best possible method of ensuring public harmony and equality under the law.  Thus, mingling government and religion should be refused to protect all men’s right to the freedom of their conscience.

Statement 10:  Religious societies have the right to handle their affairs where members are concerned, provided the member is not deprived of life, liberty, or property, and excluding the member from fellowship is the extent of the punishment allowed.  These practices should not ever be interfered with by government officers or magistrates!

Statement 11:  All men possess the right to appeal to the civil government for redress when personal abuse occurs at the civil officers’ and magistrates’ hands.  I support all men the right to defend themselves and their properties from unlawful incursions by the government when time and exigency deprive the assaulted from appealing to the civil officers and magistrates for a peaceful redress of wrongs.

Statement 12: It is all about preaching religion freely and without government incursions, provided the laws of the land are followed.

Detective 3I do not speak for The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints!  I respect and honor the books and resources provided for their clarity and their simplicity.  I have abbreviated the above statements to reflect my personal beliefs and respect the intellectual property owned by The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints.  I firmly believe that these statements embody the principles found in the US Constitution, the Magna Charta, the Articles of Confederation, and The Declaration of Independence.  By following these statements, society improves, regardless of the government flavor found locally.

DutyI support obeying, honoring, and sustaining the laws of the land upon which you live and work.  That through the laws of your land, just grievances may be brought forward to your government officials, civil officers, and magistrates, and redress for wrongs made right.  I do not support sedition and rebellion in any shape, form, or creed, as this is the path to anarchy and chaos.  As an American [A(h)-ME-I-CAN], I support the logical separation of church and state as described above and will support any organized religious belief in the public square, provided the religious beliefs do not infringe upon another person’s rights to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

NO MORE BS: The Declaration of Independence

Image - Eagle & FlagThe introduction to The Declaration of Independence contains the following, and as the discussion here commences, look for similarities between 04 July 1776 and 17 March 2021.

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

“The separate and equal station,” decent respect,” and a “declaration of cause,” these three articles impel separation.  The colonists in America had experienced enough of the tyranny and had collectively decided it was time to declare, “Enough is Enough!”  Ask yourself, do you feel the government at the city/town, county, state, and federal levels of government are treating you equally, with decent respect, under the “Rule of Law,” or do you have a declaration of cause for just complaint?  “Just complaint” is a common theme; we will return to this theme multiple times.

The second sentence of The Declaration of Independence is a long but powerful:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness [emphasis mine].–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

What truths do you find; first, “ALL men are equal” [emphasis mine].  For those militant feminists, YES; this includes women, and the use of the term “men” was never separating or degrading women.  Cultural word choice to include all of Adam and Eve’s Family as “men.”

Second, “endowed with unalienable rights, … to life, liberty, and the PURSUIT of happiness” [emphasis mine].  Life involves the ability to make choices, others might not like or appreciate the choices, but I have the right to live my life without anyone else’s opinions stealing my liberty to live as I choose.  Happiness is NOT an inalienable right; only the pursuit of happiness is an unalienable right.  Do you understand the difference?  We need clarity; inalienable or unalienable refers to that which cannot be given away or taken away.  Hence, the government is not supposed to have the right to interfere in your choices for life, liberty, or your ability to pursue that, making your pursuit of happiness successful.

Let us be clear, pursuing happiness is not a journey on a bed of lilies and rainbows; it is a hard slog through difficulty, challenge, failure, and success.  The less intrusion of government in your personal journey of happiness improves, not hinders your pursuit of happiness.  If the current intrusions of government providing a “just complaint” for your success to pursue happiness?  I know my answers to these questions; I am asking for yours!

The third sentence of The Declaration of Independence claims a human truth:

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”

Of a truth for certain, humans will live with onerous governments out of the ease of the “Devil you know” instead of changing government to relieve suffering.  But, the question remains, where is the line when “Enough is Enough?”  The Declaration of Independence reflects the pattern for when “Enough is Enough,” “while “evils are sufferable.”  Returning us to the theme of The Declaration of Independence, have we reached the ultimate “just complaint” for evil government intrusion into our lives, liberty, and pursuit of happiness?

The fourth and fifth sentences of The Declaration of Independence proclaim more details:

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.–Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.”

A “just complaint” must include the crimes that form the absolute truth of, and support for, the proclamation of a “just complaint.”  Then, duty empowers throwing off the tyrannical chains and providing new guards for “life, liberty, and pursuing happiness” through a new form of government.  The current 50-states, plus Puerto-Rico, Guam, and other non-states, have you suffered enough under the absolute despotism of the current non-representative government of the United States?

The subsequent two sentences are directed to the King of Great Britain and catalog his crimes against the colonies.  As I review these claims, those quoted from The Declaration of Independence will be italicized, and the current abuses will not be.  To compare and contrast the abuses that were intolerable in 1776 and those abuses currently suffered in 2021.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

The US President, Senate, House of Representatives, the Judicial Branch, many governors, and mayors across America refuse to assent to the “Rule of Law” necessary for the public good. They allow those guilty of crimes with money to run roughshod over the law creating a two-tiered justice system.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

State’s rights have been continually trampled and the US Constitution abused by the elected representatives in conjunction with the Judicial Branch, specifically the United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS).  Including “Eminent Domain,” “theft of elections through refusing time to investigate electoral fraud,” the Western States not owning the land they are founded upon, and hundreds of other oppressive legal decisions where SCOTUS has trampled the just powers of the legislative branch at the whims of cultural approbation.

He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

The US Senate and US House of Representatives have refused to pass a budget, live within a budget, and respect the rights of the governed under a representative government. They are bowing to the highly populated coasts and ignoring the rights of all citizens.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

Since the 1940s, the government has changed the legal definition of the term property to include living people, removing the freedom of owning property, and using the bureaucrat to pick winners and losers of government largess, never the bureaucrat’s job in the first place.  The government has retaliated, utilizing the force of government to fatigue complainants and frustrate the citizen into compliance.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

The government has warped the representative nature of US Governance until the invasion of privacy is expected, personal identity theft is a common occurrence, and under unconstitutional FISA Courts made no private citizen safe and secure in their property, papers, or business from abuse by government.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

Using the threats of force through the National Guard and Federal Police, they refused access to the elected representatives to send just grievances to the government directly.  Exposing the American People to the dangers of runaway government without representation.

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

From the 1940s, the Federal Government has repeatedly obstructed the legal system for naturalization of foreigners into America, carving out whole programs without legislation through bureaucratic fiat ways and means to create and change US Citizenship’s meaning abusing the citizens of America.  Under the War Powers Act, illegal immigration was concocted to steal jobs from Americans, intern Americans, and these legal thefts of the rights to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness remains a stain on the Seal of the Republic of the United States of America.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.

The Federal and State Legislative branches are abdicating their roles to make laws and scrutinize government to the judicial branch, which is an abuse of the citizen!  The elected representatives feel justified in ignoring the judicial branch if the decision goes against the party in power desires and promises.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

Since the “Great Depression,” the government has invented rights, which inflated government, producing bureaucrats to harass, harm, and destroy America through government bloat, all in the name of producing jobs and improving America.  The only jobs delivered are non-productive government jobs, and America has declined as the government has grown, repeating the process multiple times since the 1930s to America’s ever-greater demise!

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.

The Government-Military-Industrial pact has never been eradicated.  Politicians have created ways and means to keep the money flowing by using our military ineffectively in wars and activities where America has no business interests, no personal interests, and where the government is the winner.  The soldier, sailor, airmen, and marine are the victims of government inaction and military suffering’s politicization!

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

What exactly is the United Nations but a money pit with hatred and disgust for the United States where Republican Representation is overshadowed by bureaucratic fiat, with no hope of having US Constitutional Law prevail inside American Territory.  The United Nations’ entire reasoning is nefarious and injurious to American Interests at home and abroad, and the injustices caused by the United Nations members must answer to American Jurisprudence!

For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:

For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

The political wars on taxes without representation remain egregious and harmful to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness inside America.  Unfunded liabilities are a hidden tax on the people and should be unconstitutional, but they remain like a millstone around American Productivity’s neck.  Imposing taxes without the consent of the governed is wrong, and the politicians involved need to be held personally responsible for correcting their crimes against the citizenry.

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences

FISA Courts, the Patriot Act, and other legislation that established unconstitutional offices in government not overseen and controlled by the US House of Representatives and the US Senate.  To remove the Constitutional Rights of all people living inside 100-miles of the US Border is inexcusable.  No government body should be above the law and outside the representative government’s controls, including and especially, the Federal Reserve, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and FISA Courts.

For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:

Speaking of fundamentally altering the forms of the US Government, debt is doing precisely this, and nobody in the representative government, at any level, wants to address this problem.

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

Sound familiar with the words and actions of the militant arm of the Democratic Party through Executive Orders?

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.

Sound familiar where BLM riots and mobs are treated 180-degrees differently from how the Tea Party was treated?

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

Eminent Domain, anyone?  Unconstitutional FISA Courts?  Unconstitutional government and NGO offices who, according to legislation, are beyond the strictures of the US Constitution?  IRS scandal during President Obama’s reign?

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

According to one political party and their media sycophants, does this sound like the Summer of 2020 and every single police incident not politically correct in the United States?

Tell me, truthfully, doesn’t the American People have a “Just complaint” against the current forms and restrictions of bloated government?  Does this quote from The Declaration of Independence sound familiar:

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury.”

What about the following, sounding familiar, from the conservatives, the Tea Party, and others who care about America’s future:

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends [emphasis mine].”

American citizens have been trying to obtain our elected officials’ attention, the same in 1776 as in 2021.  Since the 1980s, the government has routinely turned a deaf ear to anything that smacks of responsible governance in a Representative Republic, and it is past time for this to change.

The conclusion of The Declaration of Independence states:

That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor [emphasis mine].”

LinkedIn ImageLong ago, I pledged my life, my fortune, and my sacred honor to the United States of America.  I had the privilege of taking this pledge eight times.  I could not go back on that pledge any more than I could chop off my hands and feet.  I vehemently oppose the government in its current life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness theft and beg all who still have a spark of divine freedom to burn ever brighter.  The Declaration of Independence is the greatest of our founding documents and supports the US Constitution and the Articles of Confederation concisely and plausibly.

Join me in insisting on a “Liberty FIRST Culture” in America that this great Republic may live and thrive!

NO MORE BS: Prelude to the Declaration of Independence

LinkedIn ImageLong have I argued with myself how to complete the needed article on America’s most important founding document, “The Declaration of Independence.”  I thought I would merely write the article, then I argued about how long it would be as I add commentary, then I debated what should be included as personal commentary.  Hence, there is a prelude and a postlude planned for this important document, and over the coming days, all will be written and posted.

The Declaration of Independence was a legal notice of charges filed with the then King of Great Britain, presenting facts, logic, and legal grounds for ending the relationship with Great Britain.  Long has The Declaration of Independence intrigued me.  Long have I wondered the how and why of the declaration’s wording and structure.  Then, I asked what would happen if a majority of the states disregarded as “Fly-Over States” made a similar document to the Federal Government that run away our money, left us in terrible debt, lied, and beguiled the citizens, and treated America like cat vomit on an expensive rug.Apathy

The Declaration of Independence includes a line that, in my opinion, is as applicable today as it was when The Declaration of Independence was first drafted:

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”

Currently, the American Citizen is suffering from “governments long-established” and “abolishing” the government to which we have become accustomed looms larger every day.  Long have I asked, “Do you trust your government to represent you and not the special interests, lobbyists, and personal interests of the current politician in office?”  Federal, State, local government, do you trust the office holder?  Would you invite them into your home to babysit your children, pet sit, or watch your home while you went on vacation?  Your answer is your choice, and the consequence affects all of America equally.Government Largess 2

I know my answer; I do not trust the government’s current representatives locally, State, and especially Federally.  I refute my right to be governed by such soulless and despicable people!  I refuse to be associated with anyone who plays skin color, race, gender, etc., games over character and ability.  Business, media, or political, I hold the same disdain!  Twist words to plasticize and reign in tyranny, and I will refute and oppose you every step as I will not bow to tyranny!

Yet, from all my observations, this is where America currently sits.  Worse, many of the Democratically Elected governments across the globe find themselves in the same boat as America.  Politicians are more interested in minutia than in working together to solve problems.  Despots threatening war and the nations of the Earth sit in silence, twiddling their thumbs and complaining about claptrap and doggerel, chasing their tails in circles, instead of taking definitive action to thwart the evil in the world.  Worse, being so wrapped up in the influencer culture, they forget they are temporary elected representatives, not hereditary political classes with life-long appointments.Patriotism

From The Declaration of Independence, we find words that fit today’s US House of Representatives and Senate almost perfectly:

The history of the present King of Great Britain [US House of Representatives, US Senate, and US President] is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States.”

Debt is long-term captivity.  Taxation without representation through printing money and the Federal Reserve, including Quantitative Easing, deprives value of savings and increases debt. They are depriving farmers and ranchers of the ability to compete inside America for shelf space in supermarkets and the theft of farm goods to regulate prices.  The refusal to balance a budget and scrutinize the government’s operations, wasting time and energy on tasks outside their two mandated jobs and the list of grievances grows daily!  Tell me, and be truthful, is it not time to throw off the current government and reclaim the rights and privileges under the Rule of Law?

Let me state, again, only for emphasis; I am NOT advocating for armed rebellion!  I am advocating for a change in the paradigm we have accepted as “government.”  For too long, we have suffered as the US Government’s property as declared by Charles Reich in “The New Property,” and America needs to correct this governmental action!The Duty of Americans

Now is the time to decide, are you stamped, “Property of the US Government?”  If not, why should we, the citizens of a representative government, allow ourselves to be treated as such any longer?  Are we scared and frightened kittens hiding deep in the shadows, or are we the proud inheritors of a heritage of freedom and warriors worthy of taking on the greatest challenge to liberty and freedom, an inert and intractable government?

These questions and more need answered as we discuss The Declaration of Independence.  How you answer individually will collectively result in change or death to the US Constitution and the Republic of the United States of America.  Worse, if America falls, so will the rest of the democratically elected governments across the globe, and the world will slide into barbarism.  Anarchy is too small a word for the resulting confusion.Never Give Up!

NO MORE BS: The Articles of Confederation

Detective 4One of the more overlooked documents that established the Republic of the United States of America is “The Articles of Confederation.”  Many confuse these articles of confederation with the confederate states and the Civil War.  The following is written to honor these articles and clarify their role in building the America we recognize today!  Having covered the US Constitution and the US Bill of Rights, it is only fitting that before writing about the Declaration of Independence, The Articles of Confederation be given their day in the public eye.

The Articles of Confederation were agreed to by Congress on 15 November 1777; ratified and placed in legal force on 01 March 1781.  The articles were a binding agreement and perpetual Union between the States of New Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay, Rhode Island, Providence Plantations, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, and North and South Carolina.  Understanding the signatories and the Articles of Confederation’s limitations remains critical to the foundation of a Constitution.

Article 1:  Provides the new country’s name as “The United States of America;” what better way to start a legally binding document to join the various independent states into a cohesive whole.

The Duty of AmericansArticle 2:  Testifies that “each state retains its sovereignty, freedom, independence, and every power, jurisdiction, and right not expressly delegated to the United States in Congress assembled” [emphasis mine].  Want to know why these articles so frequently refer to States’ Rights and what States’ Rights mean; pay close attention to what the states retain control over in Article 2.  Sovereignty is the supreme power or authority to govern itself; I fight for States’ Rights as freedom and independence branch from the power of sovereignty.

Article 3:  Covers a league of friendship, common defense, the security of state liberties, binding themselves to help and support each other in peace or war.  While protecting state sovereignty without regard for religion or trade, or another pretense. They were essentially stating that the states would be friends and protectors of each other’s sovereignty without regard for personal interests!  Does it appear to you that the Federal Government has forgotten the sovereignty of the individual states?

Lever UpArticle 4:  Guaranteed free movement between the states, except for vagabonds, paupers, and fugitives.  Article 4 also demanded that the states not exact tariffs or seize property when a citizen traveled from one state to another.  Article 4 also bound each state to the jurisprudence of the other states.  Hence a criminal in one state, trying to escape to another state, could be detained and returned to the state accusing the person of a crime.

Article 5:  Set the number of delegates and term limits for those delegates to Congress.  A novel idea whose return should be seriously considered for our time!  Better still, the delegates were required to be supported by the individual state, not their political party, not through wages and forced taxation, and not through Congressional fiat.  Another novel idea whose time has come to be reconsidered in American Society.

PatriotismArticle 6:  Contains another novel idea needing reconsideration, no state shall entertain any foreign dignitaries to enter into treaties, alliances, or other business without the consent of the entire Congress.  The article goes further in outlawing war between states and protection from pirates.

Article 7:  Discusses how armies are to be raised, officers appointed, and the role of the state legislature in officer appointments.

Article 8:  Sets forth how war is to be paid when armies meet for the common defense and a tax levied to pay for the debts incurred in raising an army for the common defense.

President AdamsArticle 9:  Sets the Congress as the sole power to declare war and sets apart other duties of the Congress to settle disputes, create committees, and constitute a court for hearing and determining matters.

Article 10:  Defines a quorum of Congress who can meet and settle matters in the case that the full Congress cannot meet.

Article 11:  Offered Canada the opportunity to join the United States with an open invitation, and all other future states needed approval from Congress to enter the United States.  This article is my favorite of all the articles, and I wonder if Canada would like to join the Union yet?  Imagine how fun that would be!

Article 12:  Handled the continental states’ debt and placed those debts into the Federal Government’s hands to establish a payment method.

Government LargessArticle 13:  Insisted that all states are bound to Congress’s decisions and actions and required affirmation by all state legislatures.

National GuardWhile each of these articles is summarized, it is well worth a person’s time to know the particulars and details in The Articles of Confederation.  It is fascinating to see how The Articles of Confederation fed language into the US Constitution, forming a legal process for Congress to work under in writing the US Constitution and US Bill of Rights.  A critical point, The Articles of Confederation, started the earliest laws needed to frame how the United States of America worked through Congress to benefit individual states and citizens.
