President Trump – Diligence, Faithfulness, and Prayers of Faith

Bobblehead DollPlease excuse me; I am branching out a little today.  However, I am not entering into the realms of religion, even though prayer and faith will be discussed.  I make this clear at the beginning so as to ensure no misunderstanding occurs; I am not here to tell you how, where, what, when, or who to worship; all I expect is the same courtesy in return.  We can discuss sensitive topics without causing problems and individuals choosing to be insulted.  There is a phrase (verse) in a book considered scripture by The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints that appears in the writings of Moses, somewhat differently worded as counsel to Joshua.  The same idea appears in the Old and New Testaments, and while in slightly different verbiage, it is available in various religious texts, dogmas, and belief structures.

All victory and glory is brought to pass unto you through your diligence, faithfulness, and prayers of faith” (D&C 103:36).

Hence why I am branching out a little today.  On 9/11, during a speech, President Trump called for 21 days of prayer for the nation.  It was one of President Trump’s better speeches, in my opinion, and the action resonates well with his other pleas, counsel, and instruction for the American Nation from his presidency.  President Trump’s counsel brought this phrase to mind, and I thought, maybe it IS time for America to rediscover an essential truth.Religion Quote 2

What is diligence?

The dictionary often details diligence as being heedful, careful, and showing constant and earnest effort to accomplish a task.  Other definitions include constancy in the performance of duty or the conduct of business and the persistent exertion of body or mind.  One of my favorite definitions includes unflagging effort with constant personal attention.  Hence, when I define diligence, these are usually what I am using, close personal attention combined with unflagging effort to accomplish a task or fill a role.Apathy

I like an Indonesian proverb that proclaims the potential of diligence and encapsulates the possibility of diligent efforts.

Diligence is the beginning of brilliance.”

As a child, Samuel Johnson’s words were often quoted:

What we hope to do with ease, we must first learn to do with diligence.”

Like the Indonesian proverb, Samuel Johnson’s words explicitly declare a truth; diligence is not observable in a single day or interaction.  Diligence requires observation over time.  Whether you like or dislike President Trump, was he diligent in performing the job as president; Yes.  The media hounded him so severely that even on his vacations, he couldn’t catch a break.  Whether you like or dislike President Biden, has he been diligent in performing the role of president; no, for he never fulfilled the role of Senator, unless you count selling influence as part of the role of being a senator.Angry Grizzly Bear

I distinguish between two people that are regularly in the news.  If you disagree, point to specific actions and their consequences to reflect a lack of diligent effort in performing the role of president.  Critical thinking requires evaluation and honest appraisals of situations.  Of the presidents I have observed, only President Reagan was more diligent than President Trump in fulfilling the role of president.  Agree or disagree, but use the definitions of diligent and diligence to support and defend your judgments.  The reverse is also true; the least diligent president to date is Biden, with only Obama and Carter rounding out the top three.

What is faithfulness?

Faithful is a word we should use more often and not when describing the actions of dogs!  According to the dictionary, faithful includes aspects of truth, loyalty, constancy, and a character of being exact and reliable.  Consider something faithful: being steadfast in affection and allegiance, being firm in your promises and observances of duty, and finally being true to facts, standards, and laws.

Mother Teresa is quoted as saying:

Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.”

Pink Monarch ButterflyLike tiny stones that fill gaps and plug holes in an earthen dam, the faithfulness of small things empowers the dam to remain strong.  Consider the story of the Dutch kid with his finger in the dam, it was a small thing that broke, and it was a small thing that plugged the hole.  Faithfulness is not about grand actions, large token gifts, and glorious virtue signals.  Faithfulness is all about the small daily acts of charity, the defense of a friend when gossip comes, and the day-to-day carrying out of duty.  Have you ever seen a butterfly’s wing under a microscope; little tiny feathers.  Each little tiny feather being faithful allows the butterfly to fly.  There is power in being faithful!

Detective 4Consider two examples and determine which is faithful to their cause, even if you do not support their cause.  Congresswoman A. Ocasio-Cortez went to the MET Gala event wearing a “Tax the Rich” message on her dress.  Tickets cost upwards of $35,000, and other costs are always exorbitant for these affairs.  Al Gore and the man-made climate change political machine demand that everyone else change their behavior, but not those directing the movement.  Personal lives do not reflect the public image created, personal conduct does not reflect public demeanor towards the issues advocated, and individual lifestyle does not meet minimum standards to match words.  By definition, is either of these two faithful to their causes?  Why are they followed?

Never forget critical thinking requires observation and decision-making, using the best information available.  More to the point, when critical thinking, you will always be asked to defend your positions logically.  Emotion has no place in critical thinking, observation, and discernment.Life Valued

What are prayers of faith?

A prayer of faith is a prayer that is made iwith complete confidence in God’s power.  Consider the New Testament and instructions left by the master instructor.  Jesus talked to His disciples repeatedly about prayer. He told them to pray for God’s kingdom to be represented on earth and for His will to be done; He told them to pray for their daily sustenance, for forgiveness, and strength against temptation. He also said to them that anything they asked for in His name, for God’s glory, would be done for them, and He assured them that God knows how to give good gifts to His children.  Hence, prayers of faith are part of all Christian religions and sects, and you find similar teaching in Judaism and Muslim faiths and denominations. Therefore, when we discuss this particular topic, all people can look to the prayers of faith, confident that solutions will come.  Yes, you are included atheists and other non-traditional religions, and whether you call it prayer, self-reflection, or becoming centered, please participate in prayers of faith.

Knowledge Check!I am not here to tell you what to pray for.  I think President Trump asking for us to petition for more honest, transparent, forthright, and constitutionally sound leadership in elected officials is an excellent first step for America.  I genuinely think having a knowledgeable, informed, and capable electorate is more important, and petitioning heaven’s help to achieve an informed electorate is critical.  However, the first steps in improving the electorate are found inside each of us.  Are we willing to be diligent and faithful in our actions, decisions, and lives publicly and privately and support the good in others?  If we are not willing to be faithful and diligent, what good is keeping America alive?

I know my answers; how do you choose?

American Heat and European Flooding – The Lies of Climate Change

BBC Logo iPad | Obama PacmanThe BBC is currently pounding the Anthropomorphic Climate Change drum pretty hard.  Currently, the Northern Hemisphere is experiencing summer, and the southern hemisphere is experiencing winter (July 2021). A typical occurrence in global life, the globe moves on an axis, and the north and south hemispheres have opposite weather patterns.  North America is experiencing drought conditions from the heat of summer.  Europe is experiencing flooding from heavier than average rainfall.

To those affected adversely by the heat or the rain, I feel for you.  For those who have lost loved ones to flooding, my sympathies.  For those experiencing days on days of scorching heat, been there, done that; drink water.  However, these weather events have been occurring for centuries, sometimes extreme one way and occasionally intense the other.  This is climate change, and it is normal to see patterns of extreme weather.  I will tell you a secret; man has nothing to do with the weather!

Climate Change HysteriaFive environmental disasters that we should make sure children know about

Anthropomorphic climate change is an invention by academicians to obtain funding from the government, control over people, and dictate how they choose to live – usually while living to extremes themselves.  How can a person know that humans have played no role in how Climate changes?  Believe it or not, there is a simple test.

How many raindrops can a man force to return to the clouds?  How many clouds can man direct to drop rain in drought regions and put sunshine elsewhere?  How many tides can man change from their regular routines?  The answer to all three questions is zero; thus, we can conclude that humans cannot change the Climate, even when extreme weather occurs and people are harmed.

QuestionI was presented with a question the other day regarding anthropomorphic climate change that has kept me thinking.  I pose the same question to you.  “How can paying a carbon tax to the government change the weather?”  Did paying taxes to the government end the war on poverty; no, in fact, the war on poverty has lost ground since the pandemic and government mandates.  Did paying higher taxes end the war on drugs; no, in fact, the drug problem is worse than ever.  Thus, how will paying the government a tax, or a fee for carbon usage, change the weather?

Common Sense

In the dictates of academicians who preach climate change religious adherence, common sense was the first casualty, and the truth was the second.  Has man, at times, been a poor steward of the globe upon which they live; absolutely, but paying money to the government has done nothing to fix the problems, only hide them.  Don’t believe me; that’s okay; let’s use recent history to detail the problem.Silverton's Gold King reckoning (The Gold King reckoning) — High Country News

The Gold King Mine was shut down.  The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), an arm of the US Government, hid the details, closed the mine, and “hoped” the dangerous chemicals would stay put deep in the ground.  Instead, a government contractor for the EPA accidentally released a bunch of those chemicals into a river that spread to a national disaster in four US states and Mexico.  Nobody has been held accountable for the lives lost, the economic problems created, and the loss of cattle, sheep, horses, etc., that drank the waters and died.  EPA updates claim all the cases have been settled.  Now, the acidic tailings in the Gold King Mine were indeed man-caused; the release of millions of gallons of toxic water into cement creek that pours into the Animas River was man-caused.  However, man could not stand in the Animas River and demand the orange sludge return to the Gold King Mine; so how could man change the weather by paying the government?

Another interesting incident, the Cuyahoga River in Northern Ohio, caught fire multiple times throughout history.  Lightning, sparks from trains passing on bridges, cigarettes, etc., at one time or another caused the Cuyahoga River to catch on fire.  The pollution was certainly man-caused, meaning that man was a poor steward and did not fully appreciate the consequences of dumping materials that floated or sank to become sediment into a river where those materials could catch fire.  Now, the Cuyahoga River is an EPA “Superfund” site, where money has literally been dumped into burying the toxic chemical-laced dirt in an attempt to clean up the pollution.  “… A total of 650,000 cubic yards of contaminated sediment were taken out of the Ashtabula River and buried under 19 acres of soil in a specially built landfill. The price tag was around $85 million.”  The actions taken have been declared a successful cleanup of a river by dredging it and dumping the chemical sediment in a landfill.  Nothing was “cleaned,” simply moved from one location to another, with a price tag so high that it can only be estimated.

The Cuyahoga River Caught Fire at Least a Dozen Times, but No One Cared Until 1969 | History ...Ohio has 53 Superfund sites where similar actions are being taken to “clean” up historical pollution.  By comparison, New Mexico has 21 Superfund sites, and Florida has 92.  Dig a little into the superfund sites on the EPA website, and a fact comes clear, man is a very poor steward of his resources, but he has never influenced the weather.  Inherently, man is a changer of his environment instead of his behaviors.  For example, being cold, man will start a fire instead of wearing more clothes, build climate-controlled buildings instead of growing more hair for the winter months, or living in more tropical environments.  But, building a climate-controlled stadium is a far cry from controlling the heat in one country and rainfall on a different continent.

12 Facts About Chernobyl's Exclusion Zone 30 Years After the Disaster | Mental FlossThe Chernobyl disaster, the USSR poisoning the northern sea, China, India, France, England, Germany, and so many other places around the world where man has abused the environment is poor stewardship, not anthropomorphic climate change.  At best, man can attempt to try and influence the weather.  For example, placing silver iodide into the air to try and make it rain in a blighted drought area.  We have the science, but the science does not always work, and just like Chernobyl, the Cuyahoga, and Animas Rivers, we do not know the consequences of employing the science.https://shiftingtheparadigms.files.wordpress.com/2021/07/b3adf-13ka-w5ahgn_fabizklayrq.jpeg

Poor Steward; Yes!  Affecting the Climate; not Hardly!

Consider this for a moment, the environmental problems are still not fully understood, but the government wants to keep pouring money down that hole.  One must ask, “Why?”  Acidic tailings from gold and other mining operations have been known since the 1800s when those tailings were considered as “the cost of doing business.”  Nobody knew what to do with them then, and we still do not know what to do with them, except to “accidentally” release them en masse into nature and let nature recover.

Intern Seminar Series: Workshop on Science Communication (Interns Only) | Carnegie's Department ...Is it possible that eventually scientists will discover a way to leach the metals and man-produced chemicals from the dirt and water; possibly, and this is a science I can fully support.  But to even consider that man’s puny arm could change the direction of a cloud or dictate where and when rain occurs is absolutely silly!  To blame a man for how much precipitation falls in a designated area is insanity at its finest and most disturbing.  To even consider that man can change the temperature of an entire geographic region is blatantly and patently false as a concept and as a pseudo-science!

The best man can do, is be a better steward of the resources on and in the earth.  After that, man adjusts to extreme weather, chooses how to live, and then goes back to pursuing happiness as an inalienable right.  Government has nothing to say or do in this matter that will ever be effective and valuable.  Thus, why pay more in taxes for something government cannot perform?Knowledge Check!

Is air pollution a real problem; absolutely, and man can change how much pollution he dumps into the environment, but the government should not play a role, and every country must police their own for any progress to be made.  Again, water pollution can be influenced by man and should be monitored, but not by the government, for the government will always act as they did in the Gold King Mine incident.  Uncaring, heartless, picking winners and losers based upon political connections, never holding themselves accountable for the deed or responsible for the consequences.  Thus, why would you trust a government, any government, to change the weather?

NO MORE BS: Climate Change is GOVERNMENT CONTROL!

Angry Grizzly BearTo some of you, I am preaching to the choir; but sometimes the choir sings better when they have more knowledge.  Please help sing louder.  To others, what I am about to say is so far out of your current understanding that your brains might hurt; I am sorry.  You will never understand snowflakes and trolls, but I am willing to take that chance!

According to the Wall Street Journal, the fraudulent president, President Biden, is taking the same plan President Obama used to restrict America to a Climate Change job-killing pogrom!

Mr. Biden is essentially doing an end-run around the Constitution, which requires approval by two-thirds of the Senate for the President to enter a treaty. The emissions reductions that foreign leaders pledged on Thursday aren’t legally binding, but Mr. Biden intends to use regulation to bind Americans.”

This single statement should scare every American, whether you believe in Climate Change Hype or not.  President Obama and now President Biden refuse to act within the law where climate change is concerned.  This means there are nefarious problems, greedy hands, and legal issues the sitting president is trying to keep hidden from American citizens.  Unfortunately, this is just the beginning of the Climate Change Pogrom Plans that have been made public.Problems

What is a Pogrom?

A pogrom is a violent massacre or destruction by a government entity against its own citizens.  Nazi Germany changed the law, then massacred legally their Jewish, Catholics, Handicaps, mentally handicapped, and other aspects of undesirable citizens.  Stalin and Mao have used pogroms to murder, execute, and destroy their own people, neighbors, and many others.

Why is Climate Change a Pogrom?

From the Wall Street Journal, “Businesses will be conscripted as foot soldiers in the progressive war on fossil fuels.  America’s founders believed that the Constitution’s separation of powers would safeguard individual liberty, but this assumes Congress guards its power” [emphasis mine].  The separation of powers was supposed to stop this madness.  As President Obama demonstrated, there are loads of chicaneries the legislative branch can get away with, and Congress and the Judicial Branch refuse to exert their powers.

Millstone of Designed IncompetenceNow, let’s talk about the 10-year plan, a $2.3 Trillion plan that is a “more-than-infrastructure proposal” but is nothing but the Green New Deal in disguise.  So far, the best record for the details that have been released comes from DailyMail.com.  We need to be clear, not all the details have been released, but those released details should scare every person in America into action against this power seizure!

  1. Biden vowed that America would be “on a path of a zero-emissions economy by no later than 2050.”
      • Where is the US Congress in agreeing to this plan?
      • Where is the complete plan laid out for the American People to review and approve?
      • America is a Republic (if we can keep it), and I do not see anything that reveals this information, neither does DailyMail.com.
  2. From experts, to reach a zero-emissions economy, the following will have to occur within the next 10-years:
      • All meat consumption, especially red meat, will have to drop to less than 4 pounds a month per American, or roughly 90% of today’s consumption rates for red meat and a 50% cut in all animal consumption. Essentially, America would be on a 0.18 ounce of meat per day for protein.
      • Every single American will have to buy an electric car, currently a $55K investment.
      • Electric heat, solar panels, windmills, and more would have to be drastically increased, increasing the cost of electricity to roughly $5700 a month for heating and cooling your home.
      • The costs of the plan, to start, begin at $2.3 Trillion. If ObamaCare is any indicator at how fast cost estimates by the government are surpassed, a closer cost estimate is around $500 Trillion!  Don’t forget the farrago that was the ObamaCare Website!  Including:
          • $85 Billion for infrastructure modernizing public transit.
          • $174 Billion replacing lead pipes and modernizing drinking water and sewer systems.
          • $100 Billion to protect nature-based infrastructure.
          • $40 Billion for housing infrastructure.
              • What does this mean?
          • $100 Billion for upgrades to the electrical grid.
          • $100 Billion for new public schools.
              • Why?
              • Isn’t this a state issue?
              • Aren’t I, and every other American, already paying for school modernization?
          • $10 Billion for upgrading federal buildings.
              • Why isn’t this already occurring?
          • $35 Billion for investing in climate science.
          • $10 Billion for an enforcement arm, called the Civilian Climate Corps.
  1. How many dairy farms, ranches, and other animal husbandry jobs will be lost to reduce protein intake to 0.18 ounces daily?
  2. How many restaurant jobs will be wiped out due to the costs that will disproportionately fall upon the reduced middle-class and lower class of people?
  3. How many American jobs in Natural Gas and Oil fields will be lost to other countries that do not have to follow the same plan to reduce emissions?
  4. How much of the economy will be sacrificed for science projects and liberal pipe dreams?
      • Public transit systems are a colossal waste of tax dollars just for inner-city transit; how about intra-city transit?
      • AMTRAK hasn’t been able to turn a profit on carrying people between cities ever; how does modernizing public transit improves the loss of taxpayer dollars down this well of liberal insanity?

Andragogy - LEARNRemember, our pattern for this insanity is from President Obama, who had a comfortable first two years due to a friendly House and Senate. They could not do these enviro-legislation issues due to US Constitutional problems, so President Obama used executive orders.  Again and again, climate science has proven to be a money-sucking black hole for taxpayers while the limited few buy new jets, new luxury yachts and force restrictions upon everyone else.

ApathyHow many people will die from the cold or the heat due to the cost of electricity, electricity failure, and not having a backup or tertiary source for heat or cooling?  Every year America sees people die from the cold and excessive heat.  Want a pattern for how higher electricity costs and liberal-brain dead solutions work; let’s look at California.  Last year, loss of power killed people on medical equipment, where electrical lines were not properly maintained, sparked fires, and rolling brownouts are common.  Now that you see the middle and lower class sacrifices, ask yourself, did Speaker Pelosi (D) or any of here Hollywood and political buddies suffer any inconveniences from brownouts and loss of electrical power?

LookHey Speaker Pelosi, how big are your freezers and refrigerators again?  How many do you have in your walled mansion?  How much electricity do you consume?  Climate scare is a method for an unconstitutional power grab, plain and simple, and every single American needs to be actively engaged in fighting these restrictions!  The fight for liberty is cloaked in “Climate Science,” and every nation on earth has been infected with this power-grabbing sickness where politicians win and the citizens lose!
