NO MORE BS: LIC – Low-Intensity Conflict – Explained and Expounded

Dont Tread On MeBetween 2012 and 2014, I wrote the first article on Low-Intensity Conflict (LIC).  Somehow this article has been lost in my changing blogs and computers.  Hence, what follows is an in-depth look at LIC.  Please note, several authors have significantly contributed to my understanding of LIC, but none so much as Lt. Colonel Alan J. Tinder, who wrote a paper for the Air War College in 1990, titled: “Low-Intensity Conflict.”  From the Colonel, I have learned much and benchmarked this principle to more thoroughly understand LIC, how to recognize LIC, and how to detail LIC for others.  The other compelling source is L. C. Green’s paper on “Low-Intensity Conflict and the Law.”  My aim here is to synthesize this information into a manageable topic and aid understanding.LIC 2

Too often in America, we do not recognize LIC.  When the Verizon Labor Unions had to be legally restrained from committing LIC against Verizon, the judge seemed to want to call the acts of violence nothing but poor decisions by some people.   Yet, the labor union had begun a tactic of pressuring Verizon by destroying property, scare tactics for third-party contractors, and causing mayhem to obtain their demands.  Hence, the labor union committed LIC and got away with it, no punishment, no accountability, no responsibility.  Never forget, “Barely three percent of violent crimes committed by union members lead to an arrest or conviction. … Most victims of union violence are unemployed workers looking for a job [to] feed their families. “Scabs,” they call them. Subhuman scum. Untouchables. People who, in the minds of unionists and their enablers, are worthy of the same kind of vile abuse that Klu Klux Klansman used to dish out to African Americans that didn’t know their place.”LIC

What is LIC?

Low-Intensity Conflict (LIC) is the official name for what happens when individuals or governments hire intermediaries to conduct violent operations from a position of security.  LIC is a misnomer; those who have become victims of the barbaric cruelty of those practicing LIC find nothing “Low” about the experience.  The conflict is intense, the actions brutal, and the practitioners remain cunning adversaries using and employing willing dupes to hide the true depths of moral decay inherent in the societal destructions and deprivations the practitioners are enacting.  Many confuse LIC in describing the actions of unbridled violence committed by ideologues under the banner of terrorism.  The US Military Joint Chiefs of Staff define LIC as:

A limited political-military struggle to achieve political, social, economic, or psychological objectives. It is often protracted and ranges from diplomatic, economic, and psychological pressures through terrorism and insurgency. Low-intensity conflict is generally confined to a geographic area and is often characterized by constraints on the weaponry, tactics, and levels of violence (Tinder 1990) [emphasis mine].”

Green (1997) adds a key ingredient to the description of LIC from Tinder (1990).

… Non-international conflict itself is a refined term for what [was] formerly known as revolutions or civil wars, particularly when these have developed into major operations with the likelihood or reality of atrocities being committed against non-combatants.  Whether civilians or those [rendered] hors de combat, a fact that is often more common in non-international … conflicts, especially when ideological, ethnic, or religious differences are in issue.  It is for this reason that it must be borne in mind that the term low-intensity [conflict] has no relation to the severity or violence of the conflict” [emphasis mine].

Some will proclaim loudly, primarily due to affiliation with or money donated from deep-pocketed entities, that LIC is only limited to those more commonly perceived as terrorists, i.e., car bombers, hijackers, etc.; however, paid rioters, looters, and those termed by the media as “violent protesters,” are practicing LIC.  Worse, labor unions have been getting away with LIC since 1892 and the Homestead Strike.  As a point of fact, K-12 educators will only teach the labor union’s side of the story during the Industrial Revolution, leaving out the capitalists providing jobs, businesses that did not need, or want, government intrusion, and the continued depravity the labor unions continually inflict upon America.  Just for the record, in 1991 alone, 4400 acts of violence were committed by labor unions.Apathy

Consider this for a moment, Americans generally despise violence for economic gains; but, due to LIC in K-12 education, the labor unions get special treatment before the law on committing violence.  Imagine for a moment how ugly the media would scream if the KKK dropped nails, broke glass, destroyed property without regard to a minority-owned business.  Oh, wait a minute; we know what the media would do, nothing!  See, when politically correct rage occurs, even when it is a minority on minority, the press closes their mouths or pitches in!  The world saw this in Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Atlanta, Florida, and so many other riots, politely termed “peaceful protests” by the media!

LIC and the Law

I am not a lawyer, and the following is not legal advice.  LIC being punishable under a military court is founded in the Civil War, and President Lincoln desired to regulate the behavior of Union troops and show proper deferment to enemy troops.  While this legal precedent goes further back, the legal precedent begins with President Lincoln in the US.  Controlling troops’ behavior led to the Genocide Convention of 1948, where genocide was created.  A legal standard was set for controlling and describing proper behavior during a conflict and enforceable by third parties.  Hence the reason why, and for, international courts to bring charges against countries and leaders of countries who commit genocide.  Unfortunately, even with the United Nations “maintaining neutrality,” enforcement of genocide continues to be problematic. The Duty of Americans

However, the point is clear, commit acts of LIC, and you do not face a civilian court and judge; you face a military tribunal.  The legal precedent for handling LIC by military tribunal further clarifies that those violent protesters and labor union members using LIC to commit acts of violence are deserving of the label, domestic terrorist.  As a terrorist, those using LIC, including those paying for LIC, lose their US Constitutional Rights, face a military tribunal, and held without Habeas Corpus.  Terrorists do not deserve and have rejected their US Constitutional Rights upon paying for or committing violent LIC actions.  According to the legal dictionary, Habeas Corpusis a writ requiring a person under arrest to be brought before a judge or into court, especially to secure the person’s release unless lawful grounds are shown for their detention.”  If US Troops must follow the Geneva Convention during peace and war, then those paying for or committing LIC are also bound, especially by Article 3:

“… Each Party to the conflict shall be bound to apply, as a minimum … [to] persons taking no part in the hostilities, including members of armed forces who have laid down their arms and those placed hors de combat by sickness, wounds, detention, or any other cause [certain minimum rights to ensure that they] shall in all circumstances be treated humanely, without any adverse distinction founded on race, color, religion or faith, sex, birth or wealth, or any other similar criteria.”

Since those involved in LIC are terrorists and like criminals, they do not adhere to the law.  The international community should be exerting pressure to capture, hold, and try the individuals involved in LIC anywhere in the world.  For example, Cuba is currently holding a leader of BLM, an internal terrorist organization with roots in Marxism-Leninism.  Other people have found safe haven in the international community and need to answer for their criminal and terrorist activities.  However, since the American government refuses to label paid agitators as the internal terrorists they are, the criminal justice system will continue to be violated.  Those guilty of LIC are allowed to continue their licentious ways to the detriment of America.Patriotism

Labor unions hide behind the lawyers and the criminal justice system to game and play LIC against everyone they consider an enemy.  ANTIFA, BLM, and every other paid agitator group in America burning, looting, rioting, and “protesting” need to be labeled what they are, terrorists.  Their actions need to be classified correctly as acts of terrorism.  A military tribunal called to investigate funding sources and hold accountable those paying and those committing terrorist violence in America.  There is no difference between a  terrorist in the IRA, a terrorist in Afghanistan, and a “protestor” terrorist in Portland, Oregon.  America, we need to understand LIC, and then we need to apply legal precedence to fix the situation America currently finds herself in!

NO MORE BS: 30 April – National Day of Fasting

Since this article is being published after 30 April 2021, some people will presume that the day had passed unremarked, uncelebrated, or would dismiss the power of fasting as a religious thing.  How very wrong these people would be, but I am not here for them.  I write this article to encourage placing this day on your calendar as an annual event, like birthdays, holidays, or an important anniversary.

One of the few times the Senate under President Abraham Lincoln voted unanimously was on this resolution, introduced by Senator James Harlan of Iowa.  Adopted on 03 March and signed under President Lincoln’s hand on 30 March 1863.  The resolution came because the president of the United States needed a higher power.  He had reached the end of his knowledge, skills, and abilities and turned to a power greater than himself for guidance and direction.  I own several books on President Lincoln.  The depression, despair, and grief of the lives lost and shattered on both sides of the Civil War had worn this president down physically, mentally, spiritually.  He couldn’t sleep, could hardly be imposed upon to eat, and his closest advisors were worried about the president’s health.

Consider a time in your life when you have had substantial responsibilities, and everything you have tried has either failed miserably or made things worse.  That was the position President Lincoln was in when he proposed a National Day of Fasting and Prayer.  President Lincoln knew he was out of his depth; he had a contentious House and Senate.  He had a war raging where people and material cost the nation more than money and resources, and he needed a solution.  President Lincoln needed a checkmate, not just any solution, a game-changing solution that only the powers of heaven could provide.  What inspires me, President Lincoln knew where he could turn for answers because of his previous experiences.  Therein lay the lesson and reason for a National Day of Fasting and Prayer.

President Lincoln’s time in office also reveals a pattern as described by Richard G. Scott.

The tragic pattern is so familiar.  It begins with curiosity fueled by stimulation and is justified by a false premise that there is no harm to anyone when done in privacy when done in privacy.  For those captured by this lie, experimentation becomes powerful stimulations until the trap closes and a terribly immoral, addictive habit exercises vicious control.”

The Confederacy got into the problems they had through experimentation with human bondage.  The sin of slavery was stimulated through prosperity and ease of work until slavery had infected every single colony and state in the Union, and a rebellion broke out over a State’s Right to continue enslaving people.  The repentance process took an entire country, millions of lives, millions of dollars, and generations of heartache and stolen potential.  Is it any wonder that the Civil War would require the best of everything that could be invented to finally get every person in America dedicated to ending the slave trades and human enslavement?

Every day we hear another politician or left-wing snowflake cry something is “racist.”  Yet, America has proved time and time again; we learned the Civil War lessons, we stand against human enslavement and bondage of any kind.  And yet, still, the cry is heard; still, the problems exist.

America is the number one country for modern slavery, called sex trafficking, human trafficking, and forced indentured servitude.  We have people disappearing and then reappearing either as a body in a ditch or as victims of sex crimes and slavery.  Why is a National Day of Fasting and Prayer still needed; so, we may learn the modern lessons of the Civil War and ask for, and qualify for, the help of heaven to rid America of these heinous crimes.

What other lessons can we learn from the Civil War and President Lincoln; let us start with the problems of gangs and internal terrorism.  The Southern Confederacy began as internal terrorism.  Don’t believe me; the Confederacy was not a recognized nation when Brigadier General Beauregard and his troops attacked Fort Sumter.  Hence, a gang militarized attacked a military installation and won.  Thus, launching the Civil War.

We hear of drug cartels along the Southern Border hiding in National Parks, growing drugs for the American illicit drug markets.  This is an act of war by terrorists, but the politicians will not send troops to fight this war and protect our boundaries.  Maybe, we do need the help of heaven to change the direction of America’s politicians.

We hear of shots fired across the border by gangs, drug cartels, and other modern-day terrorists.  Yet even though this is an act of war, the military is politically hindered in acting, innocent people die, and the politicians do nothing.  Maybe we do need the help of a power greater than ourselves to aid in ridding America of our enemies “Foreign and Domestic.”

Daily, America suffers from gang violence from ANTIFA, BLM, MS-13, The Bloods, The Crips, and so many others committing acts of violence, destruction of private and public property, taunting the police, and banding together to gain political power.  Maybe, just maybe, America could use a LOT more heavenly help curb the violence and end the internal strife caused by, encouraged from, and paid for through people seeking political power (LIC).

The problem with LIC (Low-Intensity Conflict) is that eventually, the violence gets out of control, and wars begin!  We have celebrities in Hollywood, and other wealthy people are investing in the violence these gangs are perpetuating. Our current sitting president donated funds to these groups while a candidate. By practicing LIC, all of America suffers and hangs in the balance between anarchy and civilization.  Of course, we need power greater than ourselves to help curb the violence!

Without a greater power to aid in support of America, America will fall.  America has always been a “Heaven blest land.”  So, while only America has a National Day of Fasting and Prayer, I would suggest all democratically elected countries have a similar day.  The world needs help only heavenly powers can provide.  I do not care about your religious flavor of belief, including unbelief; joining in a National Day of Fasting and Prayer is about coming together, unifying, and committing to upholding the principles of a free society, embracing liberty for all, and decreasing tyranny from the few!  Please, mark your calendars now, and join the next National Day of Fasting and Prayer, 30 April 2022!

NO MORE BS: Human Rights vs. Human Obligations – Chapter 2

LinkedIn ImageToday 03 March 2021, the BBC ran an article titled, “Global Freedom: India is now only ‘partly free,’ says report.”  Claiming a shift from democracy to authoritarianism, civil liberties in India have declined under Prime Minister Narendra Modi since 2014.  The article explains that the United States under President Trump also saw a decline in democracy due to a contested election result and President Trump’s leadership methods and manners.  The actual report claiming the fall of democracy is titled “Freedom in the World: Democracy under Siege (the report).”

Boris & NatashaLet us face the elephant in the room; the BBC is not known for reporting information without personal bias, political opinion, and a hearty dose of fearmongering as tools needed to sell advertising and lure unsuspecting readers to their version of the news.  Nothing against the BBC, just acknowledging that when it comes to newspapers and news media, it is always best to understand the basics, corporate media outlets exist to sell advertising.  Hence, lurid stories lead!

In acknowledging the elephant in the room argument, we also need to cast aspersions upon the Freedom House source report, which never supplies the standards for measuring democracy in their report.  Hence, if you have not researched how Freedom House measures democracy, you can only take the information at face value and believe the authors.  Worse, the authors used word tactics to attack political beliefs and politicians they do not like.

DutyFinally, let us be perfectly clear, The United States of America is NOT a democracy, but a Republic!  America being a Republic is a good thing because democracy is just evil under the guise of freedom.  In a democracy, the majority rule, not just a supermajority of 60% of a population or more, but a simple majority of 51 out of 100.  Having laws and procedures demanding significant government changes need supermajorities is a protection to the freedom and liberty in a nation, a state, a county, and a city/town.

The report talks about COVID.  As discussed many times, COVID is a government hysteria, fed by media, viral infection.  Claims that COVID influenced or allowed freedom theft in Democratic and Republican governments worldwide is valid, but the viral infection is not the problem; the government response is the problem.  Allowing a viral infection with a survival rate of 98% to shutdown economies, drain resources, increase debt, and steal liberty and freedom is the worst type of projection possible.  The viral infection did nothing but make a few people sick; the government is the problem and needs to be held accountable!

GavelReturning this discussion to the problems with human rights vs. human obligations.  Human rights are laws, and the report is very damning on laws the authors do not like and then claim those laws are anti-human rights.  The report’s authors create a couple of human rights from whole cloth to batter politicians they particularly do not like but were democratically elected by their respective populations.  The authors’ political bias becomes clear very quickly while reading the report. The report will be like throwing red meat to the political left’s lions and tigers, who will never admit there are biases, issues, and confusion purposefully twisted into facts in the report.

Since human rights are codified laws, the ability to change the law in a democracy requires a simple majority.  Hence, another issue with the fundamental measurement of “freedom” in a democracy is that changes in desires lead to law changes.  The world saw this with BREXIT.  The politicians refused to change, but the population changed its mind.  The politicians repeatedly refused to change. The people had to sack enough elected representatives at the ballot box to finally get the process started to exit the European Union (EU).  Even after starting it, the politicians and bureaucracies in the United Kingdom continued to thwart, stall, and subvert the will of the people.

GearsBecause human obligations are a reflection of the morals of a population, these do not change, nor should they change, which means that there is a constant method to care for the sick, the afflicted, and the downtrodden.  The problem inherent in human obligations is those who consider that it is the government’s job to care for their populations cradle-to-grave when this is simply not possible!  No government should ever be saddled with morals, or care for human obligations, as human obligations are individually fulfilled, not government programmed.

The government has no morals, they only have interests, and interests, like laws, change.  When the interests of a government change, especially when the population that government represents does not like the changes, rebellions occur to correct the imbalance.  The authors of the report argue for government having morals through human rights, neglecting the fact that human rights are laws, and laws change.  The authors consider the changing of laws as “anti-democratic,” “freedom stealing,” and “liberty depriving.”  Except, this is not the case at all; laws change based upon the collective thinking of the population as expressed through their elected representatives.  That is democracy in action, and since democracy needs only a simple majority, changes occur faster than in a Republic, but the changes are messier and the populations necessarily louder.

Detective 4The report states, “As COVID-19 spread during the year, governments across the democratic spectrum repeatedly resorted to excessive surveillance, discriminatory restrictions on freedoms like movement and assembly, and arbitrary or violent enforcement of such restrictions by police and nonstate actors.”  All of which is true and distressing in the extreme.  Yet, the rest of the paragraph twists a couple of half-truths into facts and closes with how non-democratic governments went to the extreme to punish their citizens during a “global pandemic.”  Still refusing to believe, or even consider, that the government response to COVID has been the problem from the beginning of Sars-COV-2 spreading from China across the world.

Mobs, riots, and insurrection were also blamed for losing freedom, especially in the United States, where President Trump was personally blamed for the social unrest.  Yet, the social unrest began with lies told over a police shooting, was elevated by ANTIFA, BLM, and other left-leaning political organizations, and was provided a stage by the media to spite the victims of the terrorist actors causing the social unrest.  By not fully expounding upon the reasons for the social unrest witnessed, the ties between freedom and liberty and the loss of democracy are tenuous at best and completely false at worst.

VirtueSince the authors got the social unrest in the United States wrong, how can anyone have verity that the rest of the report was right?  More, where human rights and human obligations cross, how can the authors get away with spreading half-truths as facts and diminish any country through a couple of authors’ personal biases and opinions?  Since the matrix for measuring “democracy” is not revealed, how do the authors make the conclusions they make with unsubstantiated data?

More can and should be done in freely elected societies (Democratic and Republican) to exemplify why these societies are better than socialism, communism, monarchies, and other forms of government.  However, these democratically elected societies’ people need to be heeded more by their elected representatives, even if it means human rights laws change to reflect less government intrusion and more human obligation acknowledgment.  All democracies must begin to understand and support the fact that their government cannot care for them cradle-to-grave.  The responsibility in a democracy, and Republic, is for the individual citizen to be responsible for their own actions and the resulting consequences.

Image - Eagle & FlagHonoring human obligations leads to greater freedoms and liberties for the entire society, not merely those who fit into one government program or another.  Better, liberty and freedom built upon honoring human obligations allow for reduced government size, leading to less opportunity for governmental abuse and injury.  The shift in growing liberty is not found in human rights laws compelling behaviors through forced state penalties.  The change in growing liberty starts as people honor their obligations to each other and reduce reliance upon government handouts.

NO MORE BS: Honest Questions – Shifting the Political Paradigms by Asking Tougher Questions

Note:  The following article repeats a discussion had previously.  Asking questions and insisting upon better answers remains the key to shifting the good from the poor, where media and politicians reside.

Andragogy - Trainer FailureDuring my second attempt at fourth-grade in K-12 education, I asked an honest question in January, “Why should I celebrate Black Pride month? I am not black.”  My teachers were shocked, utterly speechless for several seconds, and then I got suspended from school for being racist and asking inappropriate questions.  My (Hippie) parents came unglued, and my life became immediately more complicated.  This does not mean I do not have people from history of black skin that I do not respect, admire, or would like to emulate.  The question posed meant then, and now, why should I have pride in all those with the specific melatonin in their skin if I disagree with their choices?  For example, I love pre-1990s Jazz and Rhythm and Blues (R&B) Aretha Franklin, Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong, Stevie Wonder, Fats Domino, etc.  I hold in tremendous respect. I’m not too fond of the majority of R&B since 1980 or so, as it hurts my ears, doesn’t sound right to me, and the words to some of the songs have no meaning.  No disrespect offered, do not choose to be offended, I have eclectic tastes in people and music.

I celebrate many of the historical figures of all races for their accomplishments, shared cultural sacrifices, and their lives spent improving my life. Dr. Charles R. Drew, and Dr. Thomas Sowell,  are but two examples in this category.  Don’t worry; I have the same problems with Mexican Pride Month and several other month celebrations and holidays.  I am not racist; I am an American and would rather see some American Heritage months!  There are some excellent examples of American’s that should be celebrated, maybe not with Federal Holidays, but they deserve more attention than they have received to date.

Detective 4In the US Navy, an open secret that resulted from the Patriot Act of 2001 was being investigated as a terrorist.  I had been asked several questions regarding why certain people act the way they do, the religious motivation, and the tools most popular with terrorists.  As I had a reputation for being a trustworthy instructor, who didn’t laugh at questions or people asking for information, and as a person who investigated thoroughly the topics requested.  I answered the questions raised from my fellow shipmates.  The audience were a couple of Boatswain Mates, undesignated deck seamen, and some undesignated firemen.  My officer walked in, heard a small excerpt from the conversation, and the next day started an investigation into my links to terrorism through Navy Criminal Investigative Service, the FBI, and the CIA as he was “scared I was a terrorist.”  I am neither a terrorist nor a racist.  I am not a bigot, nor am I ignorantly asking questions to embarrass, denigrate, or deride.  I am a life-long learner and student of human behavior, and I like asking tough questions to facilitate improvement first for myself, then for others.

October 2020, Representative Deb Haaland (D) assaulted my email box with an email whose subject line read, “Pride v. Discrimination.”  In reading the email, several questions percolated.  Since Rep. Haaland (D) cannot answer the questions posed previously regarding veterans’ abuse in the local VA Hospital, I raise the following questions, looking for answers and honest dialogue.  I raise these questions as a measuring stick for your representatives in government; let’s ask tougher questions of those who desire to lead—holding in our hands the information to make more informed choices at the ballot box.

Pride has several standard definitions, and the following are sourced from my Webster’s Dictionary (Unabridged):

“A feeling or deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one’s achievements, the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated, or from qualities or possessions that are widely admired.”

“Consciousness of one’s dignity.”

“The best state or condition of something; the prime.”

“Confidence and self-respect as expressed by members of a group, based on their shared identity, culture, and experience.”

Detective 2Leading to my honest questions: why would anyone in the House of Representatives be concerned with someone else’s pride, singling out a group or individual for recognition?  Would involving yourself in another person or group’s pride mean you are not serving your entire District equally, as we hired you to do?  Why is “LGBTQetc.,” pride acceptable, but White Pride unacceptable, as discovered in several Google searches?  Doesn’t discrimination mean to support one group or interest over another group or interest?  What happened that conflicts of interest are no longer criminal?  For example, suppose you are a member of a group, and that group receives preferential or prejudicial treatment from the government because of your actions as an elected government official. In that case, I am left to ask when was this decriminalized?  Are these actions not exemplifying racism, sexism, etc., abuse of power?

Dignity, primacy, doing something worthy of pride, confidence, self-respect, shared identity, shared culture, and shared experiences are attributes of people who accomplish something, not merely make a socially convenient choice.  Why does America not celebrate American Pride month?  America has done tremendous things to advance the cause of all people worldwide, but is not allowed a pride month; I don’t understand.

While I was living on the streets homeless, I met several people who were proud of being homeless and wore their homelessness as a badge of honor.  Yet, I wonder, what do they have to be proud of?  These people have no jobs, live from hand to mouth, game (defraud) the welfare system, prey upon other people for subsistence, and are proud to wallow in their own filth.  Now, I am not by any means classifying all homeless in this category, merely speaking of a distinct subset of people I have met.

Theres moreAs defined, pride requires actions, and other people herald those actions and show pride in those accomplishments.  Hence, in this instance, pride is not selfish but selfless and requires recognition by others who generally might not share the same ideals but recognize an accomplishment and glory with you in your success.

As a veteran of the US Military, I was taught service through sacrifice, and pride in accomplishment, pride in sharing a collective culture, identity, and experiences that stretch hundreds of years into the past.  I am not against having pride in people who share your melatonin level who have accomplished things worthy of admiration and respect.  I do have some concerns when pride is based upon false accomplishments, outright lies, or manipulating current social climates or historical facts.  For example, of what do the LGBTQ communities have to be proud?  They mainstreamed personal choices and forced their bedroom activities into the public conversation and not much else.

Why should I care that you are proud you created a dialogue, carved out exceptions to laws to support you being preferential, and are forcing your lifestyle and preferences upon society?  What have you done to elicit pride?  Why should anyone else share in the LGBTQ pride?  What selfless accomplishments have the LGBTQ community done that the non-LGBTQ community should reflect pride in the LGBTQ community?

LookHonestly, I could care less about your bedroom preferences, hetero/homo, etc. I do not care!  Keep your bedroom activities in your bedroom, and I have no problems.  Make your bedroom a public issue, and I now have a problem.  For example, at a movie theater, the action between couples detracted from the movie I paid to see.  Worse, it was witnessed by several children, who were way too young to see a pornographic display at a movie theater.  If you choose to bring your bedroom into the public square, you deserve to enjoy the consequences of public ridicule and suffer judicial action.

Another example, at various times, I have engaged multiple people about “Black Pride,” “Latino Pride,” and other forms of melanin based pride.  In this specific instance, the group was about 8-10 young black males urging everyone to have “Black Pride.”  They were employing the term, and I asked several questions, “What had they accomplished to have “Black Pride?”  “What did ‘Black Pride’ mean to them personally?”  “How do they show “Black Pride?”  I am not casting aspersions upon the entire black race, as I have had similar conversations with many other races and people and received extraordinary answers to these same questions.

Friends QuoteHowever, this group could not name a single black person of accomplishment outside of sports figures.  Not that some athletes deserve to be remembered for their actions on and off the fields of athletic achievement.  The group also disagreed whether someone was “Black Enough” to be considered in “Black Pride” refused black professionals as “Uncle Toms” such as Carla Harris, Susan Chapman, Clarence Thomas, Marshall Thurgood, Robert Smith, or Aliko Dangote.  Thus, I remain concerned when celebrating melanin-based pride as the ignorance of why we celebrate casts significant doubt on future generations’ willingness to perform to a level worthy of pride exemplified in previous generations who accomplished greatness.

Why does discriminating continue to get a bad name?  I discriminate every day when choosing between blue colored jeans and black colored jeans, between socks, and between foods.  Yet, recognizing and understanding the difference between one thing, person, event, etc., and another remains a natural action and central to discriminating as a term and a process.

Social Justice Warrior 3The legal definition for discrimination is as follows: “The unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.”  I unfairly discriminate against corn on the cob, refuse to eat that nasty stuff on a cob, and rarely eat corn when removed from the cob and frozen.  President George Bush hated broccoli, unfairly and prejudicially.  When individuals are subjugated to an other individual’s choices based upon melanin levels in their skin, religion, or birth sex (not gender choice), harm (physical, emotional, mental, financial) is done to another; isn’t that just part of life.  There are laws to protect one from another when real harm is committed.  Again, leading to the question, when an elected official chooses to support one group, over another, for preferential treatment, doesn’t this definition lead to charges of prejudicial treatment and break the law?

For example, Rep. Haaland’s email is promoting a social activity, a choice, and a lifestyle over others in her Congressional District; thus, promoting the idea that those selecting this lifestyle, or making this social choice, are preferential to all other lifestyle choices, and social activities in her Congressional District.  Since the representative appears to favor one lifestyle choice and social action over all the others, doesn’t this open the representative to charges of preferential treatment, unfair treatment, and being discriminatory?  What happens, and which takes preference when LGBTQ, Latino, and Black concerns all crash together asking for preferential treatment, but the resources demand none can have preferential treatment?  What about everyone else in her Congressional District?  Are they just out of luck for not belonging to the right melanin-based lifestyle, choice, or social activity to obtain preferential treatment?

Bob MarleyElected Officials, please heed and understand that lowering yourself and your office to select winners and losers means that everyone loses!  Elected Officials, do you understand this concept?  If so, why do you insist upon not living this concept as an elected official?  Why do so many of your peers in elected positions follow your example?  Why do so many government employees follow your standard in selecting based upon everything but fairness, honesty, integrity, and demean and degrade themselves while groveling to the current preferred community?

Conservatives, we need to recognize and respond more directly and more bluntly to the actions we witness in the behaviors of Elected Officials of all types, sizes, and levels of government.  Judges should not be getting a pass when they let off criminals because of melanin-based interpretations of the law.  The school board should not be designating funds based upon melatonin or automatically assuming that melanin dictates intelligence and potential.  What about the other populations, peoples, communities, etc., America is a melting-pot where all should be treated equally under one standard of law.  Except, since the 1960s, this has not been the case in America.  Let’s start asking tougher questions, demanding coherent and logical answers, and holding those elected to live a higher standard that supports the “Rule of Law” in America!

NO MORE BS: Revisiting Dane-Geld – Recognizing a Problem

Dane-GeldDane-Geld was “a land tax levied in medieval England, originally to raise funds for protection against Danish invaders.”  The 11th Century saw many frightened landowners who wanted peace, who then raised money to pay-off the north’s warring tribes, called Danes.  From across the land, the rulers gathered penny and pound to buy protection from these warring tribes.  When the Dane’s saw how easy it was to obtain gold, they moved in and took the lands, and whole civilizations dropped into barbarianism.  The only reason we know these stories today was that the warring tribes of the Dane’s met cold steel in a furious fist and were beaten back.

Rudyard Kipling wrote a poem on this topic, called coincidentally enough, “Dane-Geld.”

“It is always a temptation to an armed and agile nation
To call upon a neighbour and to say: —
“We invaded you last night–we are quite prepared to fight,
Unless you pay us cash to go away.”

And that is called asking for Dane-geld,
And the people who ask it explain
That you’ve only to pay ’em the Dane-geld
And then you’ll get rid of the Dane!

It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
To puff and look important and to say: —
“Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”

And that is called paying the Dane-geld;
But we’ve proved it again and again,
That if once you have paid him the Dane-geld
You never get rid of the Dane.

It is wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation,
For fear they should succumb and go astray;
So, when you are requested to pay up or be molested,
You will find it better policy to say: —

“We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that pays it is lost!”

Who, pray tell, is the modern Dane’s?  We currently call them Black Lives Matter (BLM), Antifa, illegal immigrants, and other extremist (Politically Left and Right) or militant factions in American society.  We call them ISIS; we call them terrorists.  For terrorists, they are, and “terrorist” has history called them from day one.  Requiring a fearsome reputation for violence, these people come to disrupt civil society, damage business, destroy goods, and wreak untold havoc and destruction.

Mayors, Governors, County Boards, elected officials of all types, you have a choice, either pay the Dane his pound of gold or fight the terror in civil society and be remembered.  During the continual riots, America witnessed the mayor in Philadelphia give up entire city blocks for her city’s Dane’s to destroy.  The Dane’s were not appeased; they moved in and controlled larger sections of the city than ever before.  Seattle’s mayor paid the Dane’s and has become the laughingstock of America over CHAZ/CHOP.  Portland, Minneapolis, Detroit, Chicago, and so many other cities across America have bent the knee, paid the gold, and will never be rid of the Dane.

Boris & NatashaYou can try and appease a mob, or you can fight a mob.  These are your only two options.  There is no third selection possible, for the mob, you fear today will be your rulers in captivity tomorrow.  Ask the city of Philadelphia if they like their new rulers.  Ask the community of Watts in LA if they wanted their rulers after the LA Riots.  You can break a mob into individuals and hold them accountable, or you can try to pay off a mob, but you cannot do both, and you will lose short-term and win long when you act against the mob.  Better to lose short term and win, then appease and lose everything short-term and long-term to the rule of a mob.

For those city councils crying to appease the mob by defunding the police, I would suggest that you would take a hard look at the closing stanza from Kipling.

“We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
  No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that pays it is lost!

If you replace the term “nation” with city and county, you will understand the stakes you are gambling on currently.  I cannot stress enough the need for you to rise, put some backbone on, tie on your work boots, and go to war against the powers of oppression and tyranny.  Call in the National Guard and the State Militias, we “the sheepdogs of war” will respond.  Do not allow America to fall on your watch because you think paying Dane-Geld is easier and more respectable.  For I promise you, if you do not stand against the tyrants today, the rest of America will have to stand against a stronger and more virulent tyrant tomorrow!

How does a person recognize Dane-Geld being paid?

Look closely at legislation. Do you see payments to a foreign body? Do you see payments to specific groups? Do you see support for the legislation being purchased through pork-barrel spending?  If any of these questions are answered positively, Dane-Geld is being paid by your politicians.

What about local politics and Dane-Geld?

For example, the school board is spending money on new technology, a new program, or a new model, ask who on the school board is receiving benefits, and you will find those paying Dane-Geld to the detriment of the students and the taxpayers.  Albuquerque Public Schools is the school board in Albuquerque, the largest school district in the state.  Purchased a new program, supposed to be the “Golden-Bullet” for improving student success.  It turned out to be a multi-million dollar flop.  The fallout is still happening.  This is not the first time this has occurred, probably will not be the last, but the Dane’s were paid!

Image - Eagle & FlagThe mobs, the rioters, and the looters currently rampaging across America are domestic terrorists.  Please make no mistake; their sole aim is to destroy your town, city, county, state, and country!  Quoting from President Roosevelt, “We, too, born to freedom, and believing in freedom, are willing to fight to maintain freedom. We, and all others who believe as deeply as we do, would rather die on our feet than live [life] on our knees.”

Join us, ye politicians, who tremble!

NO MORE BS: Thieves and Robbers Beware!

The Duty of AmericansWith all the verified fraud, the stolen Dominion voting machines that have escaped a forensic audit and investigation, and the postulating by the liberals in America, let us agree that the 2020 Elections have been a farrago, a hodgepodge, and a producer of confusion and disarray to equal no election in history.  Add in the terrorists of the liberal leftists BLM, ANTIFA, etc. and America has seen enough!

I know not the source, but there is a quote I use quite frequently that is appropriate here:

“There is nothing more dangerous than an honest man who has been betrayed!”

I am an honest man betrayed!  Biden/Harris betrayed America by accepting the Presidency when they knew they committed fraud, their minions committed fraud, and their lackeys have committed fraud.  Pelosi has constantly betrayed America, ever since her detestable grudge became public where she fought to impeach a sitting president, acted the 2-year-old having a fit as she ripped up the President’s State of the Union Address on live TV, and her continuous rebellion against the American people by refusing to pass a budget, clean up DC politics, and act like an adult Majority Speaker of the US House of Representatives!  This list of people betraying America for personal gain include Sen. Romney, Sen. McCain, Pres. Obama, the Clinton’s, and so many more, including local mayors, county boards, state legislators, and governors.

PatriotismThe excuses provided by the left are paper-thin and not even useful for toilet paper.  Alexandre Dumas, “The Three-Musketeers,” had the following to add:

“A rogue does not laugh in the same way that an honest man does; a hypocrite does not shed the same sort of tears as fall from the eyes of a man of good faith.  All falsehood is a mask, and however well made the mask may be, with a little attention we may always succeed in distinguishing it from the true face.”

How may a person who is unsure of the rogue and the honest man?  Well, an example may help, President Obama held a “Beer Summit” after a police officer did his job, and the President personally accused the officer of neglect and racism.  How would a person tell whether President Obama was faking the mask of kindness at the “Beer Summit,” look to his words after every other racial shooting incident America suffered after the Professor Henry Louis Gates controversy to the end of his presidential reign.  The USA Today reported how the “Beer Summit” derailed the president where race and policing crossed.  In short, the answer is to look to the person’s words and works to see whether they are true, honest, and brave, or craven, cowardly, and a hypocrite.

What is a person to do in the coming months; the answer comes from Mark Twain:

In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated, and scorned.  When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.”

Stand ye patriots, stand!  Stand like a rock wall in the middle of a farmer’s field.  Unmovable, unshakable, immobile, firm, and daunting to any who would take you down.  General Thomas Jonathan “Stonewall” Jackson provided a word needed this season, while speaking to Captain John D. Imboden.

Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me. Captain, that is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave.

Let us not worry about death, let us worry about being brave in this our season of distress and grief at the hands of the enemies of America.  We the honest men and women of America must stand, bravely against the fiery darts, slings, and arrows of the liberal leftist horde until America is redeemed or America falls an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.

Stand; do not allow the leftists to suck you into their designs and strategies.  Stand; be counted and be counted upon to hold up those who might not be as strong physically or mentally as you.  Stand; count upon your faith, your religion, and your beliefs and the America you know, and love will not fail.  Stand; and watch the cowards try and gather, then disperse like clouds before a mighty wind.  Stand; be firm in your knowledge, keep learning, keep sharing through non-social media means, and you cannot fail, even if the devil himself decides to fight for the liberal leftists, he cannot win.  Stand; unified, overlooking the liberal lines that try to divide and separate.

Finest HourI conclude with the plea, do not allow history to be forgotten or militarized against you.  History is the ground upon which you will stand on the shoulders of giants, when you know the history.  The liberal left has dedicated a lot of energy, resources, and manpower to removing history.  Fight them without quarter, without mercy, and without regard for their “delicate sensibilities.”  If you track back far enough, you will find both criminals, sluggards, saviors, and saints in every single person’s family tree.  Know your history, share your history, include references that are reputable, and repeat historical facts that spur your impetus into motivation.

If social media continues to hinder, censor, and deny First Amendment Rights, GREAT!  If Big Tech continues to thwart and hinder, scold, and censor without due diligence and due process, GREAT!  It means we are winning; continue to stand!  Ours is not yet a war of swords and pistols, but of words and ideas.  Pray the battle does not become one of swords and pistols; but fight using truth, history, ideals that draw people to your cause, and when the liberals come toe-to-toe, look them dead in the eye with confidence, conviction, and your personal credo.

Revisiting LIC – Know the Paradigm

Tucker Carlson brought up a very important point on 16 Aug 2020 regarding District Attorneys who are refusing to do their jobs and are being bankrolled by rich and powerful people.

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/tucker-carlson-democrats-media-americas-dying-cities

Low-Intensity Conflict (LIC) is the official name for what happens when individuals or governments hire intermediaries to conduct violent operations, from a position of security.  LIC is a misnomer; those who have become a victim of the barbarous cruelty of those practicing LIC find nothing “Low” about the experience.  The conflict is intense, the actions brutal, and the practitioners remain cunning adversaries using and employing willing dupes to hide the true depths of moral decay inherent in the societal destructions and depravations the practitioners are enacting.  Many confuse LIC in trying to describe the actions of unbridled violence committed by ideologues under the banner of terrorism.  The US Military Joint Chiefs of Staff define LIC as:

“A limited political-military struggle to achieve political, social, economic, or psychological objectives. It is often protracted and ranges from diplomatic, economic, and psychological pressures through terrorism and insurgency. Low-intensity conflict is generally confined to a geographic area and is often characterized by constraints on the weaponry, tactics, and levels of violence (Tinder 1990).”

Some will proclaim loudly, mostly due to affiliation with or money donated from deep-pocketed entities, that LIC is only limited to those more commonly perceived as terrorists, i.e., car bombers, hijackers, etc.; however, paid rioters, looters, and those termed by the media as “violent protesters,” are practicing LIC.

Since May 2020, America, and the world has seen explosive violence hardly ever witnessed previously without a global war as a backdrop.  Those unhinged aspects of society who are always upset with something and ready to destroy others have been bankrolled by deep-pocketed entities charges reduced or dropped by District Attorneys who have relationships with deep-pocketed entities, and then we have organizations like Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA, among many others.

LICUp until May 2020, the following aspect of LIC was generally accepted:

“Low-intensity conflict is generally confined to a geographic area and is often characterized by constraints on the weaponry, tactics, and levels of violence (Tinder, 1990).”

Except, this is no longer the case, as entitled entities who are hellbent on destroying their societies have crossed international boundaries, establishing branches in foreign countries, and sharing the wealth generated in one nation to support the anarchy in other nations.  If you do not believe this is true, look to the BLM expansion into Europe as a perfect example of LIC spreading through a branded organization with monetary influence.

BLM has received donations totaling billions of dollars, based upon the media reports of large companies making donations, and the total refusal of BLM to forthrightly declare where the money is going and why.  ANTIFA has been investigated, or are still being investigated, for ties to ISIS.  The money trail paying for violence, or helping the perpetrators to avoid justice, is all LIC.  Somewhere, there is a party who is enjoying the violence, mayhem, and criminal actions immensely that considers themselves above prosecution, beyond political and moral rules and restraints, and these entities need to be held accountable.

A misnomer in LIC is that only nation-states can participate as parties in LIC.  While many nations do participate in LIC to their neighbors’ demise; the power of money to purchase intermediaries to break the law is not new in history.  The following resource remains imperative to understand what is being observed and the connections to LIC:

https://forwardobserver.com/breaking-down-the-conflict-of-low-intensity-conflict/

It cannot be stressed enough, there ARE entities inside America that will use LIC as a means of distracting people to achieve political aims, social change, or simply to cause chaos and destruction.  Knowing the enemy is critical to stopping the enemy!
